Miro for In Person or Remote Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how Miro enables our design team to collaborate simultaneously, whether we’re working together in person with our laptops or remotely from different locations.
We use Miro for brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design work, voting on creative directions, and tracking our progress. The ability to see live updates as team members mark things up is invaluable for our remote team members. We use Miro paired with other video conferencing apps, and it keeps everyone on the same page, no matter where they’re working from.
Getting started with Miro is fairly intuitive. You can quickly jump in to add sticky notes or other annotations on designs, upload images, or even run a poll to vote on a design direction.

What do you dislike about the product?
Miro has quite a few buttons to scroll through, especially when trying to find the upload option under the Tools/Media/Integrations section. Our team doesn’t really need some of the extra buttons (t-shirt sizing, AWS Cloud, or GIFs) which can make the extra tools interface feel a bit cluttered. That said, drag-and-drop functionality works as a alternative, and we just realized you can also pin the upload button for easier access.
It would be helpful if there were more customization options to hide or rearrange tools based on what a team actually uses.
Occasionally, we’ve run into issues with our boards getting too cluttered when a lot of people are working on them simultaneously, but the ability to organize content into frames or sections could likely help with this as we use Miro more.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have remote workers spread across 6 countries and various timezones. Collaboration sometimes happens live on the same time, but at other times there is a delay in how we communicate. We rely on Miro for brainstorming sessions, providing feedback on design work, voting on creative directions, and tracking our progress. The ability to see live updates as team members mark things up is invaluable, as well as being able to chack back later for more clear direction.
Perfect tool for visual planners

Sometimes, not everyone is familiar with it. The AI features could work with less content.

A big fan of Miro
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has always ridden the line between having massively deep featuresets as well as being easily adoptable by new users. It does the basics really well, but scales to some pretty complex needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
As Miro has grown, it's also kept changing the UI, and UX. Some of those changes feel like they take things backwards, and there is a constant need to re-learn the interface after every update.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize Miro for all sorts of purposes, largely around collaboration, as well as visual note-taking from various meetings, activities, or strategies.

Great tool for organizing and planning your team's work
