I love using Miro to organize and collaborate on ideas on a canvas

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The Miro canvas is plentiful. You can add many different bodies of work over time, and reference them when neededed. There is no need to create multiple boards if you can just use one board for various project collaboration sessions.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigation on the canvas can get challenging some times. Between zooming in and out, and navigating up/down and side-to-side, it can get quite confusing some of the time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An environment to organize unstructured thoughts and data in a flexible environment.

MIRO is an incredibly powerful collaborative tool!

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
MIRO is intuitive, user friendly, and facilitates incredible collaboration for remote working.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the formatting options could be developed.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In my role in improvement, which is largely remote in nature, MIRO enables efficient and effective collaboration in a way that is better than other similar products. It's intuitive to use, which is important when using it with colleagues who are not already familiar with its use. It has all the features you would expect from such a tool, including comments, sharing, etc.

The best app in market for mindmapping

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've been using Miro since a couple of years and I can definitely say it's the best tool on the market for complex mindmaps, as it lets you re-scale the map without any loss and maintaining proportions. I compared it to all the available tools on the market and was the winner, thanks Miro team for doing such an amazing job on this product. It's also one of the most intuitive products and the best of all, is that you can translate an entire board and expand your mindmaps with the help of the new AI features!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing comes to my mind. Some years ago it went slow for huge boards, but meybe that was already solved.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it as my go-to tool when talking about online whiteboards, and I can say I'm a whiteboard lover, I think it's the best way for collaborating in remote work. I have different Product Management tools, listed as a backup file, but at some point of the past I used it with the team I was working with, as the company has the license. If I had to choose, I would go definitely with Miro but it's true that Figma has a lot of negotiation power now that they have Figjam, that is also pretty good and I would assume it's cheaper than Miro if you buy the pack + Figjam.

On my personal life I also use it for complex mindmaps, and I¡m really happy to say it's the only tool on the market that helped me doing what I needed.

Facilitate Collaboration with Intuitive User Experience

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Miro is an intuitive tool that facilitates real-time remote collaboration, even in video calls. I rely heavily on the use of sticky notes, arrows, emojis, and diagrams, which makes work more efficient and organized. Additionally, I enjoy its integration with Notion, allowing me to paste Miro links and keep them organized. I appreciate that Miro is easy to learn for people of different ages and technological skills. I totally recommend Miro because I consider it an essential tool for any team.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike the limit of 3 boards available in Miro, as this forces me to create a new Miro account for each project with a client. I also find that the price of licenses for individual users and for working collaboratively with clients can be quite high, especially when I have to pay for the freelancers' licenses.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Miro to collaborate with people remotely, solving the problem of working together in a single space during video calls. It's like a virtual whiteboard, intuitive for writing and sticking notes, facilitating real-time collaboration.

Best and most complete whiteboard software available

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
More complete than most competitors. Seamless integration with other software and tools. Visually more pleasing and cleaner than some competitors. Feels faster than some competitors.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be tricky to share boards with people who are not in your team, but that's actually a feature and it's up to the single company to decide their policies in terms of sharing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Having everything in one place and being able to link things. It makes it really easy to organize projects and thoughts and plan actions, having everything under control in one glance.

Infinite space to think and do

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Multiple formats can be added to one space that becomes a map of your mind, and then formulated into a presentation
What do you dislike about the product?
Needs more design features such as icons that can change colour.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collating my thoughts can be a jumble, and doing it on paper means I still need to get the work into a digital format shortly after. Miro allows me to remain in digital and have all the advantages of having things mapped out.

Boost your remote collaboration and inspiration

  • January 02, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is one of my key tools I use in my work as technical consultant. The unlimited canvas, rich tooling and collaboration features make it a versatile and powerful tool for many use cases, including personal ones, internal with the team and company as well as with clients.

Getting started with Miro is easy. In couple of minutes you know the basics and start collaborate together. As with every tool, the interesting features are in the second row and you need time to discover them and evaluate for your use cases. With the Miro Academy a good starting point is provided for free and in the context of use cases, like Agile, diagraming or innovation. The webinars are joyful experiences as well: well prepared, engaging with good structure and content. So far was never disappointed with my time spend.

The magic of Miro lies for me in the incredible and huge community - the Miro Universe. The provided templates there are very inspiring and you can discover new approaches how to tackle one challenge and make progress fast.

Miro AI gets more and more powerful and looking forward to the new features. Especially the UI prototyping will be very interesting for us.
The innovation speed and new features is high, with the combination of blogs, webinars and videos you can catch up quite quickly when you have the time for them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Board sharing is easy and follows a hierachical approach. I wish I could create multiple share links with different passwords and permissions, which could have been useful in some situations to better control permissions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaborate remotely with my collagues or clients. Also find visual attractive options and creativity by avoiding hard structures like a PowerPoint template.

How Miro makes campaign planning a breeze

  • January 01, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro is a fantastic tool for visually mapping out complex ideas and workflows. I’ve been using it to outline campaigns and ebooks, and it’s been a game-changer for clarity and collaboration. The ability to create dynamic, interactive boards helps visualise the flow from start to finish, making it easy to spot gaps or optimise strategies. Its user-friendly interface and versatile templates save time while offering creative flexibility. Whether working solo or with a team, Miro is an invaluable resource for brainstorming, organising, and presenting ideas. Highly recommend for anyone needing a powerful visualisation tool!
What do you dislike about the product?
A small downside of Miro could be that it sometimes feels overwhelming with so many features and tools available. For example, if you're mapping out a simple campaign, you might spend extra time navigating options you don’t need, which can slow down the process initially.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the problem of disorganised brainstorming and planning by offering a centralized, visual platform for collaboration. Instead of juggling multiple tools or static documents, I can map out campaigns or ebook flows in an interactive way that’s easy to update and share with my team. This not only keeps everything clear and aligned but also saves time by reducing back-and-forth communication. The visual aspect makes it simple to identify gaps or opportunities, which has been a game-changer for streamlining my creative processes.
