Miro Unveiled: A Deep Dive into the Ultimate Collaboration Platform
What do you like best about the product?
I love Miro’s infinite canvas and real-time collaboration the most. The ability to have an endless digital whiteboard where ideas can sprawl without limits is a game-changer—it’s like having a giant brainstorm wall that never runs out of space. Whether I’m mapping out a project plan, sketching workflows, or just throwing sticky notes around with a team, it keeps everything fluid and organized in one place. The real-time aspect is seamless: multiple people can jump in, edit, comment, or vote on ideas instantly, no matter where they are. It’s perfect for my scattered thoughts or when I’m working with others across time zones—like how I imagine syncing up with a teammate in Texas while I’m elsewhere. Plus, the intuitive drag-and-drop interface and templates make it quick to start, so I’m not bogged down by setup.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike most about Miro is its performance lag with large boards and the learning curve for new users. When I’m deep into a complex project—say, a massive flowchart or a board packed with images and links—it can get sluggish. The infinite canvas is awesome until it’s overloaded, and then zooming, panning, or adding elements feels like it’s dragging, especially on a less powerful device. It’s frustrating when I just want to keep the ideas flowing but have to wait for the screen to catch up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro benefits me by saving time, boosting clarity, and keeping collaboration fun. It’s like having a digital garage where I can tinker with ideas until they work, then share them effortlessly.
Easy and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I recently switched from using Visio to Miro, and I find it so much easier to use. I can very quickly and easily put together effective flowcharts with minimal frustration. Where I previously dreaded using Visio, I now look for ways to incorporate Miro in ways that can better visualize the various processes we use on a regular basis to share with others.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really haven't run into any downsides to speak of.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're able to use Miro to map out existing processes to open up discussions and identify areas where we run into problems and come up with potential solutions (A3 problem solving)
Using Miro is part of my everyday job
What do you like best about the product?
For me as a service designer, it's important to be able to create things fast and easy. We often have new people, who are practicing using the board and they can usually get the hang of it quite fast. Also, I often write down or visualize what others are talking and there isn't time for creating art. With few post-it's we're able to move forward fast.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've seen what Miro could do with AI and I'm impatiently waiting for more AI tools and solutions. I would appreciate generating good images, presentations and wireframes. Also, I've noticed that sometimes there is some confusion with logging in from my work account and personal account. And then sometimes I open a link to a board and I'm a visitor. For example when I get a mail in my work email, that there has been changes in the board, I click the link on the email, and I end up as a visitor in the board. This could be fixed
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Aligning people and information to the same place. Being able to create visuals for people who don't have visual skills. With this I mean, that people talk a lot and pretend they understand, but once we start visualizing, we can actually see the problems there.
Best board platform ever!
What do you like best about the product?
The fexibility and the user experience. Everything is intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
That the free version has limited number of board creation.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual dynamics that are more difficult nowadays with videocalls
Miro is great for user research!
What do you like best about the product?
I always use Miro for my share outs for user research. It is easy to use, fast to create beautiful boards, and such a wonderful way to engage stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
The set up of users for Miro for our company is a little wonky. It has nothing to do with Miro, but rather how our company has it set up so that some users within the company have access and others don't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro is a way for me to make engaging presentations of my user research share outs. Before this, people would stare at my screen and tune out. After this, they are engaged because they can use sticky notes, stickers, text boxes, etc to engage with the content I'm sharing.
Great tool for wireframing and creating flows
What do you like best about the product?
I like that there are so many possibilities to create flows and wireframes.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes some basic items like how to upload a document to board are difficult to find.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collect ideas, flows and journeys to once place. Easy share and collaborate.
Great tool to use for workflows
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to create workflows and there is a lot of different shapes to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing I dislike is that there should be more icons available in the free plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves the problem of getting an overview of different processes.
I use Miro on a daily basis at my workplace, its very user friendly tool

Miro has been a game changer!
What do you like best about the product?
Miro has been a game changer for our organization! We are fully remote and have no intentions of returning to the office. Miro helps keep meetings engaging and capture input during strategy and innovation sessions much more effectively than meeting minutes. I particularly love that by collecting input or feedback through Miro, we can reduce bias that can happen quite often in verbal discussions, engage team members with a visual flow, and tag, sort, and export data easily. We use Miro for everything from games and icebreakers to innovation sessions, product development, and more. The templates make it easy to get ideas when approaching a meeting or workshop. The best feature is that it works directly through the Microsoft Teams meeting screen, so people don't have to split their view. It is the one tool I would fight tooth and nail to keep in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, I don't have any complaints about Miro. It can be more challenging for less-technical people to learn at first. However, there are some instruction templates you can easily include in every board you create that help orient users on how to scroll, zoom, drag, and write on sticky notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Capturing input in a remote work environment, making meeting and workshop facilitation much easier and engaging.
It’s a tool I was missing in my daily workflow.
What do you like best about the product?
Mind map is something that I use a lot and I could never make it this much fast and easy beside that Variety of tools and team collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest there nothing that I dislike about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We had a problem for having a common white board for the team that are working online most of the time and also sharing it with the customer.
