Great for collaboration and customer journey mapping

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The user journey mapping template is a standout. It makes it easy to visualize and align on customer flows without overcomplicating things. On top of that, the real-time collaboration and whiteboarding make remote workshops actually productive instead of painful.
What do you dislike about the product?
On large boards it’s easy to get lost. Having such a big space to brainstorm is powerful, but navigation can become a downside.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro solves the challenge of running effective remote workshops and aligning teams across different functions. It gives us a single space to brainstorm, map user journeys, and make strategy visible, which cuts down on misalignment and speeds up decision-making.

One tool to make everything clearer

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Using Miro has provided me with infinite space to create illustrations, presentations, and discussion boards, as a PO this tool is becoming more and more handy everyday. Making presentations and discussion boards with activities like sticky note voting, or collaboration and brainstorming has never been easier with Miro. Also ease of integration with other project management tools like Jira is a huge plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
I sometimes feel that Miro is still missing some templates, and I do need these templates to optimise my work and save loads of time than creating it from scratch. My advice is to include more templates for project/product management techniques to enhance communication of thoughts and updates in a game like manner.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problems were having to create whiteboards over other platforms mid-meeting, having to create presentations from scratch, and not having enough space to do it or add new things mid-meeting. Miro being online and live and with infinite space for boards has solved these problems for me.

Easy to use, intuitive, and feels like a blank canvas

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I enjoy the most about Miro is the freedom it gives me to work visually. I can easily place images, shapes, create mind maps, and add links wherever I need. The flexibility of movement and execution makes it very dynamic and creative. I also really value how easy it is to collaborate with teammates in real time — following a colleague’s work, setting a timer, or co-creating on the same board makes it great for both individual and group use.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although there are many templates available, I feel they are not always very specific. For example, as someone working in marketing automation, I would love to see templates tailored to flows with conditional splits, placeholders for subject lines and preview texts, etc. If Miro allowed users to filter templates based on their role or industry through tags or search options, it would make the experience even more powerful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps us centralize collaboration and brainstorming in one place. It removes the need to juggle between different tools for whiteboarding, presentations, and planning. It has made workshops, project planning, and flow design more efficient, and allows both individual and team work to run smoothly.

A powerful tool to make ideas and concepts visible for teams and clients.

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Miro’s versatility is what really stands out. I can use it in interactive workshops to keep participants engaged, present concepts almost like a Prezi-style presentation, and take advantage of the huge library of templates filled with proven methods, frameworks, and guides. It’s a powerful way to bring ideas to life, whether I’m collaborating with my team or working with clients.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the app asks for a restart, which interrupts the flow of work. Also, the titles of boards are not visible in shared links, which makes it harder to locate boards directly within the app if I haven’t opened them before. Another small but frustrating issue is the lack of a stronger default frame-locking option, as frames can easily shift around unintentionally.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro helps me turn complex ideas and strategies into something visual and easy to discuss with teams and clients. Instead of juggling separate tools for workshops, presentations, and brainstorming, I can do it all in one place. This saves time, creates clarity, and helps clients actively participate in the process.

What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes formatting can be a bit finnicky - but once you have a bit of practice it is very easy.

Essential Tool for Consultants - Unlimited Creative Freedom Meets Professional Collaboration

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I work as a digital transformation consultant for a global agency and Miro is an incredible tool. The most helpful aspect of Miro is its complete flexibility - there's no rigid structure forcing you into predefined templates or workflows. This freedom allows me to bring any concept to life, whether I'm sketching a rough prototype idea or mapping out complex business processes with multiple stakeholders. As a digital transformation consultant, I never know exactly what visual approach a client engagement will require, and Miro adapts to whatever I need rather than constraining my thinking.

The real-time collaboration is transformative for client work. I can have designers, developers, and business stakeholders all contributing simultaneously during workshops, seeing ideas evolve live on the board. The seamless transition from high-level strategy mapping to detailed user journeys to backlog prioritization - all in one workspace - eliminates the friction of switching between multiple tools.

What sets Miro apart is how intuitive it is for non-technical users. I can drop a CEO into a Miro session and they're contributing meaningfully within minutes, not struggling with complex interfaces. This accessibility breaks down silos and gets everyone thinking visually together, which is exactly what digital transformation projects need to succeed.
What do you dislike about the product?
The overwhelming amount of features can make it complex. But that's the tradeoff for such an amazing tool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Miro eliminates the need to use multiple tools and it solves the "lost in translation" problem between business users, designers, and developers by creating a shared visual language. Complex ideas flow seamlessly from business processes to user stories to wireframes without context getting lost.

Best tool on the market for remote facilitation

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The tool is excellent for remote facilitation and collaboration and has been my go-to tool for the last 5 yeards. As a design consultant I use Miro for every remote workshop (monthly) as well as for different internal collaboration (weekly). It works great, it's easy to use and has some very cool add-on features that make the work even easier. In addition to live remote workshops, it works great for asynchronous work. Adding clients, sharing boards and onboarding new people to use Miro are all very easy, which is crucial as a consultant.
What do you dislike about the product?
The admin side of Miro can be slightly confusing at times, but nothing that can't be figured out.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting people to collaborate remotely in workshops. My work as a consultant could not be done nowadays with out a similar tool.

A very impactful collaborative tool for conservation planning

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best part about Miro is that my entire team can work together seamlessly, even when we are physically apart. Since it’s online, everyone can access the board from remote locations, which makes it much easier for us to brainstorm, plan, and organize conservation activities collectively.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, there isn’t anything I can think of that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Through Miro, I can clearly see who is contributing and who is not, which helps in ensuring that everyone on the team is actively participating. This transparency makes collaboration more effective and helps us identify gaps, distribute responsibilities better, and plan more efficiently.
