Salesforce Developer on Salesforce Sales Cloud

What do you like best about the product?
I think the in-built solutions that Salesforce has to improve sales and help sales team is one of the best things in Salesforce cloud. Be it forecasting/reporting/quoting, Salesforce has most the solutions already in there and there's only a little change required in these solutions to align it with our business needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
Error handling is something I think the service can improve on. There have been times where the error is so vague/no message that we'll have to contact Salesforce support and wait for their response, hence slowing down our work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce sales cloud provides in built solutions that satisfy most of our business needs. For example, having quotes and opportunities makes it so much easier to build a quoting tool on Salesforce since it doesn't have to be developed from scratch

What do you like best about the product?
Solid solution with planety of good features to help our sales team improve their results. Besides that, it gives a clear vision to the top management how their team is perfoming
What do you dislike about the product?
We are facing problems with the User experience and User Interface of it as we are using the standard version without customization. Compared to other solitions in the market, this is the weak spot of Sales
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Efficiency of our Comercial team in 8% and improvement in our salea pefomance

Everything, it is a very robust system to use for Sales.

Customer centric business use cases which are not necessarily available out of the box.

What do you like best about the product?
It organizes our sales team around their pipeline. So we can follow up with customers at the right time with the right inf.
What do you dislike about the product?
There really aren't big disappointments we currently have in our early adoption of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to easily connect customer information with our Sales department.

What do you like best about the product?
We can create leads and convert them using multiple ways, like through the app, apex etc to fulfil our request
What do you dislike about the product?
Just one little thing, it integrates great with salesforce mobile app.
For us we use Field Service mobile app for our truck drivers. When they need to provide quotes, they need to switch app so that makes it difficult to navigate

Integration with FS mobile app or other

What do you like best about the product?
I think it works best for our development team specially the members who work with individual donors. I like how easy it is to use and easy to configure
What do you dislike about the product?
As a non profit, we are not able to leverage all the features
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It solves our need to store donor data, be able to act on it and to be able to protect it from users who should not have access to it

Rough start, good value in the end

What do you like best about the product?
Having a central contact that you can tie everything to is great. We can track our applicants from the first time they reach out to us until they become a student.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was difficult to get legacy data into our instance. There's really no way to work around the data architecture that exists within Salesforce so you have to conform your data to their structure which is a painful starting point.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We haven't had a crm in the past so it's a huge win to have that data now in such a user friendly ui. We haven't mastered the lead scoring yet, but we look forward to using it better for scoring applicants (or moving to education cloud and using what they have there)

What do you like best about the product?
Helps our sales organization operate and evolve efficiently. Our executives get clarity on the performance, insights to take the next steps in growing the business, acquire and sell more. We are able to evolve and grow rapidly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning curve. We learned that the partner ecosystem really helps more than reaching the Salesforce tech support execs in adopting new tools, use accelerators and learn new solutions

Lead conversions, opportunities tracking and closing, team collaborations, consistent processes, standardizing and optimizing sales operations, reporting, territory planning and executive dashboards

What do you like best about the product?
The amount of features you already get out of the box and how easy you can adapt the opportunities and quotes to fit your own sales process. The out of the box revenue prediction and pipeline overviews for your sales teams
What do you dislike about the product?
Governor limits for example the limits to criteria based sharing rules which require more custom solutions if you have too many criteria for your teams. The other biggest limit is data storage where it is often expensive to store older data as reference to keep a full customer overview
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Faster sales processes in an API driven environment where you can connect all you customer and sales data with the Multiple applications in use by sales and marketing to keep the customer up to date of his orders and their current status
