More powerful than we thought

What do you like best about the product?
We launched Salesforce a month ago, and so far it's been a usual systems launch experience - change management, user errors, and a steep learning curve. However, we are sure that it will unlock a great deal of value for us as a business. There is so much power to be realized in Salesforce. Make sure you have a strong Salesforce Admin in house or a trusted partner to keep improving the platform to get the most you can out of it!
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing to complain about! We had a great implementation partner in Carnac so the system was well built. If you are looking at building it to your specifications yourself, make sure you have a clear plan in mind and time on your hands!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have had no ability to do any trend analysis in the past. Now that we have a better system, we'll be able to track trends better, have more accountability across our business, and have more transparency as well.

What do you like best about the product?
I love how customizable Salesforce can be. With the right architecture, you can gain incredible insight into the metrics most important to your business, and make both sales and service teams jobs easier.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing about Salesforce itself that I particularly dislike. The one downside is that if Salesforce is implemented poorly, unwinding and detangling bad processes and recapturing lost data is a painful process. But that is more about the client and how they choose to build their setup.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The traditional business problem - we need a single source of truth and data capture when it comes to our customers. Salesforce is how we identify practically everything.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hire a Salesforce Implementer who has exceptional referrals, and be truly deliberate about designing your platform to both capture the data you truly need AND be nimble and easy to use for your staff. If you miss on either of those pieces, you are setting yourself up for a lot of headaches in the future.

What do you like best about the product?
This is an extremely versatile platform. Out of the box it can be utilized more than just a sales tool. It is an ecosystem that can serve many industries it may have an industry-specific product that may serve your needs. The resources that SFDC provides to help you with success are 2nd to none. 3rd party integrations that can help provide solutions to things very quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
Like all platforms wish they would provide features or functions that many would consider common sense. Sometimes the security model can be very challenging to work around.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The customer journey is one area that is always an ongoing challenge as it is ever-evolving. Salesforce can be molded to your business provided you have the team to help leverage the platform and dedicate brain power to it.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Hire a salesforce admin now if you don't have one because you will need one eventually. THey will help your business succeed. Have an open mind and be ready to talk about things from a strategic stand point as well as tactical. look at salesforce as a platform as a service that can answer any business need not just sales.

What do you like best about the product?
Great data visualisation; configurations can be done with simple point and click.

Processes are straightforward, guidance via Trailhead covering all features.

Process Builder, Workflows, Apex Data loader and Reports helps minimizing code.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having too many features is also a downfall, takes a lot of time for setting up the environment.

Generating reports is a very complicated task. It takes some time to get accustomed to the loaded interface and to navigate through the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been setting up CRM for a pharma client, and realize how friendly it is in terms of usability, helps understand customer needs and configuring and customizing based on their requirements

What do you like best about the product?
Salesforce CRM is the best marketing, sales, commerce, and IT service tool to manage customer data.
- It has software integration to all the network devices.
- The UI is very clean and easy to understand.
- All customer related data can be managed in one place.
- Reporting has lot of options and Automation can be done in reporting field.
What do you dislike about the product?
- The implementation needs to be improved.
- Need to extend the support of external applications such as integrated outbound call and network monitoring tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
In our current organization, we use the SFDC CRM to manage the tickets and assets of customers.
SFDC CRM has been implemented with our servers to push the configuration to new assets, making it convenient and easy to manage the details of customers.

What do you like best about the product?
I like all the different filters you can apply to lists and reports. It makes it very easy to organize and see your accounts and potential prospects. It also never crashes or goes down.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much that I don't like about Salesforce. I suppose it would be nice if it was easier to email and call prospects from Salesforce, but it links with Outreach so not necessary.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is easier to organize your book of business and see what accounts are promising and which aren't. It allows you to use many filters to see what kind of company it is without having to do a lot of research.

Best Customer relationship manager specially in COVID pandemic

What do you like best about the product?
User friendly, customised as per company's need. Saves allot of time and maintain full data base. Here in Amazon we use Salesforce to manage HR level page and in this COVID pandemic we are using COVID event management with Salesforce only
What do you dislike about the product?
Allot of options at the sametimes makes me confuse specially when I am in hurry. Different sections of the department should be keep at different blocks at all time.

Navigation should be improved for better usability.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now we are working on COVID event management for our usa employee's leave and pay management. Best app to distribute work in between the team members to increase productivity.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Others mean SAP, and SAP is like thousands of module at a time. And Salesforce is more comfortable and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing about this software is that it lets the salepeople organize their action items in an effective manner. For each action item, it provides you with a deadline and sends you a notification, so you don't miss any deadlines. In addition, it is highly user friendly and easy to navigate for new personnel.
What do you dislike about the product?
It will be useful if there are tutorial videos or a document for new users. It will help to understand some of the tabs and the purpose for each. Initially, it takes a bit of time to get used to the software, so any guiding document and tutorial will be helpful.
Also, if there is an option to convert the action items into an excel spreadsheet, it will also be convenient, especially when you need to present the data in weekly meetings.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using this software with all our field sales guys. They use it after their meetings with the clients and use the tool to include the action items that must be completed before the next meeting.

Does the job, could be better looking

What do you like best about the product?
It works well, keeps things contained, and operates as intended. There are a few things that I wish would be changed. First, have some sort of or better automation that works better to find potential duplicates. Currently, there are rules put in place for finding dupes. But, the system fails quite a bit. If a lead comes through with 2/3 fields the same as another lead or contact within an account, it does not catch it.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UI is not the most pretty. Obviously that does not matter for functionality, but it could look better. It seems antiquated in the UI and design versus some other CRM's. Also, I wish that the rules for finding potential duplicates should be better. It seems pretty simple that if 2/3 fields of a lead are the same as another lead or contact it should at least raise it as a potential dupe.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not necessarily "problems", but it works for sales CRM. Following the rule of "if it is not in the system, it did not happen" is very true and Salesforce is simple to fill out the fields to ensure notes are in there.
