Not easy to navigate on desktop and toggling layers gives errors frequently ..seems buggy

Sales cloud is easily customizable for the businesses that have a less standard sales process. In addition, even when a sales process is less than standard the out of the box options are flexible enough on their own that they can be utilized in some form

Some things like the forecasting tool could be better, and the ability to tie custom objects to such a process

Sales Cloud gives us a way to store all of our customer data in one place, and to place the rules necessary to ensure the reps are entering what the business needs

Works with Java and apex class, gets integrated with JavaScript.. needs automation testing to be run for any deployments

Maps Advanced Routes does not populate schedules for a full weekly shift

I am only 2 years into my salesforce journey, but I am constantly impressed by the balance on industry standards or best practices to support our extended sales teams as well as the ability to customize it to our companies specific goals.
I've seen adoption go through the roof in a relatively short period of time. The conversation is no longer "why salesforce" but "how can we get more into CRM!"

Some new features come across half baked and sometimes require vendors or custom application to make it work.
