Salesforce Sales Cloud provides a centralized platform for managing sales activities.
It brings together customer data, leads, opportunities, and communication in one place, fostering collaboration among sales teams.
This includes creating custom fields, workflows, and reports, allowing organizations to tailor the platform to their unique sales processes.
Lead and oppurtunity management is possible.

What do you dislike about the product?
Salesforce Cloud can be relatively expensive, especially for small businesses. The pricing model includes various editions and additional costs for add-ons, customization, and extra user licenses.
Complexity for Small Businesses because Small businesses may find it challenging to implement and maintain the platform without dedicated IT resources.
UI can be improved..

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Best CRM I have used - great for reports

It integrates with literally everything - and makes for great reporting

The UI could be so much better, but other than that it's great

Unquestionably, the epitome of excellence and the most comprehensive CRM solution in the market.
What do you like best about the product?
24x7 access to sales data, effortless report generation, customizable options, cost-effective with excellent support. Modifiable core values and options available at an additional cost. Genuine 24x7 customer support.
What do you dislike about the product?
Inadequate development of non-core products, occasional frustrations with customer support, analytics user interface needs improvement. Encountered software bugs, lacking visual interpretation of analytics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We leverage Salesforce Sales Cloud to empower our business teams in the areas of marketing, sales, and customer success. We have successfully implemented numerous processes within SFDC, including lead qualification, management of discovery calls by business development teams, seamless handover to account executives for demo meetings, creation of sales opportunities, efficient management of the sales pipeline, and many more. Salesforce Sales Cloud has hepled us in elevating sales productivity, efficiency, and customer relationships through centralized data management, resulting in remarkable gains.

It still feels like your in a web browser.

It hekps me keep track of all my sales opportunities.

It feels like so many things are extra cost, and require extra licenses.

It is giving us more visibility into our customers.

Probably the best CRM tool out there, feature rich, easily integrates with other programs, very versatile in meeting requirements and dashboard data presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing and to get all features desired, need a dedicated salesforce program team to service and create.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salesforce allows everyone in the company to have visibility on the progress of each project associated with each client and be able to jump in and assist if necessary. Also presents metrics in a useful manner for upper management to gauge the progress and success/failure rate of projects along with duration in queue.
Learning & working w/ Sales Cloud as a RevOps professional has made a huge difference in my career.

There are so many different ways to customize it to fit your needs and it connects with most anything you need it to connect to.
What do you dislike about the product?
Many times when I am excited about a new feature or am customizing to fit our workflow, the feature I need is always and additional price. Example: we transitioned to Automated Email Capture with Einstien Standard that comes with our Enterprise edition, however, to cusomize any reporting on your email activity you have to upgrade and pay more because you can no longer do any reporting on email activity in the normal lighting reports...it can only be seen in analytics which just gives you one screen/dashboard that contains EVERYTHING and isn't very helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Now that I have the Sales Team and the Client Success Team transitioned to using SF our workflow is more consistant, client data is right at our fingertips, we have been able to reduce sales cycle, and provide analytics to move the company forward.

All client data available in one central repository and easily updated to reflect where they sit currently inthe sales cycle

Requires some effort and knowledge to setup initially
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My department mainly uses salesforce to track and manage customer support requests, however we also plan upcoming resource requiments based on where each client sits within the sales cycle

Sales Cloud is essentially infinitely customizable and can be configured to fit pretty much any use case.
What do you dislike about the product?
Salesforce is notoriously expensive and can be difficult to configure in a truly scalable and user friendly way without expertise.

Salesforce serves as our CRM and most business and sales-related information is housed or passes through Salesforce at some point in time.
