Donor tracking applications
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the different ways we can track opportunities and tools for account management. All of the dashboards, reports, and analytics tools are really helpful in getting our campaign managers useful data too.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's got a bit of a heavy learning curve... which is a challenge for getting our whole team (especially newer members) to be able to use it in any meaningful way day to day. With a small team and limited budget, that kind of flexibility is important.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Various automation tools that have come out and are in the works, as well as easier ways to pull out data about users, have all been very useful. Looking forward to upcoming account management tools.

Salesforce Sales Cloud has all the built in needs a business would need covered from a product standpount

There are some mandatory requirements within sales cloud which may not be all required for business needs and varies by organization

It is solving a lot of the opportunity and lead conversion problems

What do you like best about the product?
Salescloud streamlines the sales process and allows stakeholders to have a reliable window into the sales process while giving a distinct edge over the competition in closing deals.
What do you dislike about the product?
It would be nice to have it better integrated with the other Salesforce products (marketing cloud, etc.)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Salescloud gives our remote territory managers the information they need in the palm of their hands through the SF App.

Best thing about Sales Cloud is the flexibility when it comes to using customized configurations.

Building of flows is a bit cumbersome and complex

What do you like best about the product?
The core Salesforce product offers a lot of flexibility to customize the platform for your business's needs. I've never used it for just sales. In my industry, there are a lot of niche, single use-case products that work decently well for the exact use-case they serve. However, they are difficult to scale and grow as your business does. I've built solutions on the core Sales Cloud that support wildly different business processes.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's an enterprise product. The price tag is a high barrier to entry. Unfortunately many small businesses try to DIY an implementation, which very rarely goes well. Customers should assume the cost of an implementation partner as part of the transition. A small support contract for at least 6mo is a good idea too, since adoption will take time and someone on staff (if not a new hire) needs to learn Admin skills to maintain it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Not using an Access database! Our data is reliable now that a strong system supports it.

Being able to quickly fund relevant data on a customer (issues, recent calls, opportunities, personal data, etc)
What do you dislike about the product?
User adoption. Some users don't enter their data so it makes it harder to trust that what's in salesforce is correct.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Connecting our sales associates with the account liaisons and the customer service reps by bring all their individual data elements together for tracking, reporting, forecasting, and helping us generate a more personal customer experiance.
It's a really good system if you don't change it

Reports and dashboards are very powerful. my customers love it.

Intermittent bugs on the site bother me. And it takes a long time to respond to the case.

You can easily create reports and dashboards due to the relationship between various data.

Customization and Flexibility: Salesforce Sales Cloud offers an impressive level of customization. We’ve been able to tailor the platform to our specific business processes, creating custom fields, workflows, and automations. This adaptability has allowed us to align the system with our unique needs.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Salesforce Sales Cloud has many strengths, there is one area that could be improved:
Learning Curve and Complexity: Initially, navigating Salesforce can be overwhelming for new users. The system’s depth and breadth require thorough training and practice. Simplifying the user interface and providing more intuitive guidance during onboarding would enhance the overall user experience.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prior to moving to Sales Cloud we suffered from data sprawl, and lost opportunities due to mismanaged data. By bringing everything under one roof we've seen a drastic improvement of organization and follow through on leads.
The most comprehensive Enterprise Sales Management Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Sales Cloud's proven Lead management, Opportunity management and End-to-End deal management capabilities are second to none. Add to that the power of Einstein, really makes the life easier for the sales teams. You get a comprehensive view of your pipeline, every information about a prospect or contact to make an informed decision and insights from AI to take the best action.
What do you dislike about the product?
The reporting capabilities could become more comprehensive and intuitive. Like we have on Markering Cloud Intelligence or Tableau.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sales Cloud is helping me in making organizations and clients truly transform their Sales processes in the right manner by leveraging the power of the platform.
