I run my business on Sales Cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
It is a configurable engine on which I can manage my forecast and my revenue generating activity, integrating with important systems that power my business.
What do you dislike about the product?
The downsides are few, but relying on SF so deeply can be troublesome when trying to sell to a customer that is a non-user. Also a glut of features can be hard to keep up with.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Opportunity management, activity management, forecasting, product demonstrations.

The existing business data structure help the company to sort of our processes quickly. And it is easy to customize to fit our special needs

So far not much. When I navigate the documentations. I wish I could see more examples

The length and breadth of functionality the product covers is amazing. The amount of customisation and reporting is incredible. The seamless integration with other applications is really helpful

UI needs to improve as it lags behind it's competitors in terms of look and feel

It autmates and tracks the leads, opportunities, deals along the entire sales cycle. Helps manage the Customers in an efficient manner. Tracks the productivity of the sales team and reports the status and progress of opportunities

SFDC functionality keeps changing rapidly and it is hard to keep pace with it

Cloud based application. You can access anywhere from any device.

Customer support can be improved. Sometimes responses are not helpful.

I like the campaign functionality. Leads are also useful. We use leads and opportunities mostly

The need to customize the sales cloud is the one thing that I would say is potentially negative. Out of the box it does work for our organization.
