A very good tool for your overall process monitoring capabilities
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is a very good tool for your UI and UX apps issue resolution and performance metrics. There are good reports you can get based on the app analytics. Newer features for IOT space are a plus along with cloud capabilities. Overall I would recommend for your cloud or on-prem solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
The tool has many features and I have not found any issues with it yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it for our app monitoring and app analytics and it helps us in understanding the underlying issues when an app crashes.

Transaction Flow. Easily accessible features like pure paths, DB hits ratio and dashboard functionality.

My clients are using Dynatrace to solve system problems before launching. They are able to see what is wrong before they launch.

DynaTrace is expensive when compared to other top APM tools.

Good Tool for APM
What do you like best about the product?
Product features are very good and useful. It not only tells you what is the issue, but also helps with detailed trace to debug.
What do you dislike about the product?
Each feature have a different licencing, "which costs"
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Debugging in higher environments, dashboards for monitoring, analytics for reporting.

That I can dig down into purepaths and find not just where the call is slow but also the syntax of the slow response call (the actual SQL query to the database as an example).
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace is very load intensive requiring a lot of dedicated hardware to run for a multi state retailer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team primarily uses dynatrace to troubleshoot and occasionally alert on application issues. Dynatrace is a very useful tool for quickly diagnosing most issues quickly and thus allowing us to resolve them quickly.

Cant say much, maybe the UI improvements need a bit of rework

its got a great outlook into to performance and as well understanding of how everything in your company will work, its a great way as well to understand what needs improvement in the future and as well what resources will be needed as a company .

Dashboards, where I can easily see if something does not like right.

Its not so user friendly when it comes to drilling down on an issue to isolate root cause.

You need to take time to learn how to research issues and get used to the tool.
We moved away from pingdom to Dyntrace for the cost savings. the platform has been a success

Being able to set regional test. Easy recording of web use cases.

Adding people to alerts was not simple. Don't really have any other complaints.
