Observability Unbound

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of deployment, coupled with the speed of data becoming workable. In addition, the visualizations allows for near instant impactful reporting to stakeholders at every level.

This, coupled with deep insights into application security, log insights, and code level debugging, make for a powerful cocktail in the observability space.
What do you dislike about the product?
The current ui has many bugs and annoyances that need to be ironed out. In addition, the elimination of management zones is, for lack of a better word, painful. There could have been more consideration for making DQL more user friendly as well. I don't like having to be a DBA to get functionality out of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Pretty much all of our observability and monitoring runs primarily through DT, and it is core to our SRE and Observability practice.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace offer all-in-one monitoring functionalities and is very easy to set up as well. It has AI for anomalities detection and is very easy to integrate accross different clouds, k8s, code etc. The customer support is also very good, eager to help in all ways possible.
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace can be expensive especially for startups. It stores lots of different type of data, making it little complex to find out what we exactly need. It also have overwhelming features making it hard for new users to get in.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace provides a platform for full system monitoring inclduing websites, cloud infra, databases, containers all at one place. The AI integration also helped with faster anomaly detection, and helping in RCA.

The real-time monitoring and ability to scale in complex environments—whether cloud, on-premise, or hybrid—makes it a powerful tool for optimizing both performance and user experience.
What do you dislike about the product?
it's easy of implemmentation and using and easy of integration with multiple platforms
the UI may feel overwhelming for users unfamiliar with full-stack monitoring platforms. Lastly, customization options for dashboards and reports, though powerful, sometimes require more flexibility.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace helps solve problems related to application performance monitoring, infrastructure visibility, and troubleshooting in complex environments. It identifies bottlenecks and root causes of performance issues through AI-powered insights, which benefits users by reducing downtime, improving system reliability, and optimizing user experiences. Powerful Monitoring Tool with a Steep Learning Curve

What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Dynatrace is its ability to provide a clear, end-to-end view of our entire application environment. It feels like having an extra team member who’s constantly watching over all aspects of our systems, from infrastructure to user experience. The AI-driven problem detection and root-cause analysis really stand out, helping us resolve issues before they even become a problem. The automation features save us time, allowing our team to focus on bigger strategic projects instead of firefighting. Overall, it gives us a lot of confidence in maintaining a smooth, high-performance environment.
What do you dislike about the product?
While Dynatrace offers incredible insights, its extensive features can feel a bit overwhelming at first. The platform has a steep learning curve, and it takes time to fully understand and navigate all the capabilities. Additionally, the pricing can be quite high for smaller teams or businesses, especially when scaling up. While the performance is top-notch, the cost can sometimes feel like a barrier to maximizing its potential, particularly for startups or mid-sized companies.

Dynatrace helps us quickly find and fix performance issues, understand their causes, and monitor our entire system seamlessly. This keeps our applications running smoothly and reduces downtime, making our operations more efficient and our users happier.

One wonderful full observability product

What do you like best about the product?
Automatic problem identification in Dynatrace is highly effective in displaying site availability metrics, response time and error rate for each services.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike because I haven't seen any disadvantages with the software.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Host analysis helps in identifying unhealthy host with high CPU, memory or thread usage and it's helpful in application analysis like response time.

I rate the product's deployment a ten out of ten. The installation and deployment process is brief, but configuring the entire environment, including the agent server and enterprise configuration, is more complex and time-consuming.

Our clients are enterprise businesses. Dynatrace's integration capabilities are good. I rate it a ten out of ten.
