What do you like best about the product?
AI capabilities. Looking forward to a hands on experience.

The current AppMon platform needs expert in house resources to manage it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Website Performance. The data analytics we get out of the tool helps us to u Nader stand the ares where the team can perform.
A great product that is growing over time and so is the price
What do you like best about the product?
They definitely have the best product in the field. You also will definitely pay for being able to use it, but it is definitely worth it. Support in general is extremely helpful especially if you have access to the live chat which I highly recommend. The product monitors everything we could ask for and more and they are constantly innovating.
What do you dislike about the product?
We have had issues in the past with a few staff assigned to us. They can get extremely ‘salesman’ on you at times. To be honest this is pretty much a norm in the industry, however the upper management in DynaTrace seems to address it if you bring it up to them. As for the product, I wish the Managed platform had -all- of the features of the SaaS system, while they are working on it, it isn’t all the way there yet. Pricing is also a pain point as it is not a cheap product. While I personally believe that it is worth it, depending on your industry you may find a lack of appetite for the pricepoint.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has done a really good job for us, it has helped us find pain points in our code and done a great job of helping us triage issues as they occur. Our favorite feature is by far RUM/UEM as it gets us right to the root of a user issue. We definitely don’t use the alerting features as much as we should but we lean heavily on the triage abilities of the product. Most recently we utilized the product to help us optimize our batch systems in preparation to onboard a new customer, it was a vital part of this effort.

Monitors the entire infrastructure, all the way to code level
What do you dislike about the product?
Need more training resources. Certifications are available but I don’t have any access to resources to learn

Issues within the infrastructure prior to it becoming a major problem. Able to be proactive, rather that just reactive

Learn as much as possible prior to implementation. There is a bit of a learning curve

Meeting people in my field from all different companies. Helpfulness of Dynatrace staff.

Sometines the HOT sessions can be a bit advanced for me.

Performance of applications, root cause analysis
Dynatrace is a great product for understanding your business
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace helps me understand how my applications are performing - from the front end user experience all the way down to databases of underlying services. It gives me a fantastic view of the health of my applications and alerts me when something is up. Also knowing that there are features out there that I haven’t used makes it seem like we’ve only scratched the surface on what Dynatrace can do
What do you dislike about the product?
Dynatrace can take some time to learn. The newer versions are much more intuitive, but it still requires some training to really get the benefits. Given everything Dynatrace can do, it’s not surprising, but I’d like to see it become even simpler for software engineers to get up and running so they can start getting valuable insights
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Monitoring of digital assets in ways that we hadn’t had before. I dont think Humana had a tool like Dynatrace before we implemented Dynatrace, so we were like kids on Christmas when we first were able to look at purepaths and follow a request. It completely changed how we triaged production issues, as well as prepared releases for production

Dynatrace had a ton of features we have only scratched the surface on using. I believe that Dynatrace has a solution for most problems that you could encounter in the apm/user monitoring space

Very user friendly. The analysis is so cool and integrates with all the technologies we use.

Support for mainframes is missing and the pricing is very high

The integrated service view and rapid ai problem discovery makes resolving issues quick and easy.

Manual configuration to get the most from a lot of service areas. Difficult to setup initially due to major issues with their managed system installer.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Solved a visibility problem. Can now quickly see impact of problems and a root cause. Helped correlate a lot of micro services into a cohesive service layer.

Easy to use, one agent installation and everything is moniitored.
What do you dislike about the product?
Alerting & managed Dynatrace logging page not very intuitive, first page displayed show Dynatrace cluster status but not the health of my production environment
