Many JVMs keep crashing, now this is solved. The ability to delve deeply into the system with Dynatrace was a huge help

The product has incredible capabilities that allows developers to discover hidden errors and bugs. The views of the dashboard are incredible too

Nothing yet. The product is very stable. Maybe one thing to consider is to get better support request time cause it sometimes takes a lot to respond.

User experience, application usage. Brand perception on the app market. Performance problems for insfrastructure and cloud service providers.

What do you like best about the product?
Current role at my company is a Sr application administrator. Its hard find time to setup monitoring tools. Dynatrace is really easy to setup and customize to your needs and applications. Provides great stats and pinpoints to problems really quick
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the tools are really confusing and hard to use. I wish there was helpful hints to what you were looking at on some of the graphs or links to knowledge base articles
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Proformance tuning and trying to improve up time of our applications. Our goal is to start using AI to solve problems before customers see them.

Dynatrace is very user friendly. All configurations are automatic

Everything bundled in OneAgent. You install the Agent and leave to Dynatrace. Smart scale View is the best one, I liked

Pricing is little high, but I understand quality comes with cost

Application Slowness and code reviews are mostl of the problems resolved by Dynatrace

The speaker went through the slides very fast, it should have been bit slower. It was bit difficult to catchup with the speaker.

We are trying to move to oneagent from app on. The new services are in kubernetes environment. This session gave lot of details about the oneagent.

Ease of use and scalability as well as low processing overhead in comparison to previous

The new product is still being developed so some features we rely on in App Mon are not yet available. That said, the speed at which Dynatrace is developing the product is impressive.

I would definitely recommend that Dynatrace be considered as part of the evaluation process. Running a comparison with another product provides a useful opportunity to see it in action. Amazing tool to find problems
What do you like best about the product?
I love that it can find all the services/apps being called to map out your entire architecture. If you have hundreds of applications and services it can be hard to track what is calling what. I love that I am able to find specific user sessions to troubleshoot problems. My favorite is the JavaScript error reporting since prior to this we were unable to track those issues.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because there is so much data it can seem overwhelming. Also you can fall down a rabbit hole and end up spending hours just mapping out all the information depending on the size of your environment. I would like to be able to see a longer history than 10 days for user sessions, a lot of times we don’t get a report until maybe 20+ days later.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been having issues with old systems crashing which bring down other critical systems, also we were having major issues with sql session state. This will pin point the problems areas so we can correct before it becomes an issue.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I definitely suggest purchasing this tool to help monitor your entire business architecture. It will help find problems that you normally wouldn’t be able to track easily.

Root cause analysis.. Helps to be proactive about issues that will eventually cause a problem in our environment

I believe its a great tool to help reduce downtime because of the speed of identifying problems quicker
