Installation and upgrade are seamless. From the initial deployment in a Managed On Premise environment to deployment of remote agents, Dynatrace makes it simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing for the enterprise is still evolving and different models were hard to understand and estimate at first glance.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Managing customer and business expectations of applications with SLAs to achieve 99.999% application uptime and zero downtime deployments.

Dynatrace needs to improve mostly on the reporting side.

Dynatrace is a very good tool that most of the company is using to identify the exact issue or problem and gives you wholistic monitoring on what’s happening on your environment.

Insight into our applications at the code level. We are using this product to dramatically reduce the time it takes to triage issues as well as release quality software faster.

The tool can be complex to navigate and that limits people willingness to jump in.

I’m not sure our company has had the best enablement on using the platform out of the box. I think we need better training.

We want to deliver a consistently fast and engaging user experience and we want to be able to show the impact the user experience has on the business goals.

What do you like best about the product?
Sorther debugging time by isolating the issues with few clicks. Also, I love the built-in search functionality; I can get to what I want with few key strokes. Having all the data in one place makes sense to avoid disconnects here and there and to pinpoint issues faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
I know implementing a new version requires some changes, but having to have several clients for different, what I would consider, minor releases should not prompt to download a new version of the client. If backend is somehow compatible with previous version, why not do same for client version

Do a POC and discuss your requirements with your Dynatrace representative, this way they can help you on your journey to a better monitoring experience without worrying too much who will be looking at the screen all day
