Dynatrace has now fully connected our front-ends (modern, cloud, serverless) to backends (on-prem) , removing previous siloes within the organization and giving people an appreciation for one another's place in the overall stack.

Learning curve can be long. Configuration takes some expertise.

Provides insight into performance, helps in troubleshooting issues and maintain stability

Dynatrace ONE, limits on metric events, older features still not upgraded to settings 2.0/modern dynatrace

General APM solution, outage prevention, remediation MTTR, increase in observablity best practices
Superior observability for the age of AI
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace's OneAgent offers a seamless roll-out across the entire IT portfolio, allowing for self-discovery of the estate. With the combination of the most recent pricing models, customers can embark on their observability journey at their pace.
What do you dislike about the product?
A lot of customers are still on Dynatrace managed - the upgrade path to bring them to Dynatrace SaaS is tricky. Investments are obviously on the SaaS product, so it would be advantegous for Dynatrace and their partners if the upgrade path was a better supported.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a service provider, Dynatrace's ease of implementation and wast offerings in the platform, ensures that we from a sales perspective always have a compelling business-oriented story to bring to our customer and prospects on how we in tandem with Dynatrace can help drive their business outcomes with confidence.

Easy to use, lots to learn
What do you like best about the product?
DT is very useful when it comes to identifying problems. I enjoy all the different offerings it provides to get to the root cause.
What do you dislike about the product?
Today on the SaaS solution it seems like I need to reload a lot of the apps whenever I spend a couple of minutes on one. For instance I can be looking at services in a management zone and select one of my services. After doing some analysis and clicking the service app once more, I would hope it take me to see all my services again but this is not the case it just displays the same service i was just seeing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
DT has been instrumental when it comes to problem finding and it has enable me to find root cause faster and push fixes almost immediate once the root cause has been identified or even rollback to a previous working version.

High Price, difficult for new user to onboard

Observability of the infrastructure
A platform that provides a great amount of information and services
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the depth of information available from the platform, and the different services offered that make troubleshooting and monitoring easier. It is easy to implement and install the agent, and it will be used frequently as we get more familiar with the platform.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is a bit overwhelming to learn due to the amount of information and services available, but that is not necessarily a bad problem to have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps us with monitoring and diagnosing cloud infrastructure issues, as well as on-prem issues, and it ties all the information between both systems well.
Great journey so far
What do you like best about the product?
I think the most important feature is the integration of all the features and the Davis IA (which no other tool has something similar). Also the facility to install OneAgent (just a very few steps)
What do you dislike about the product?
Maybe the costs (since we are from Brazil, the billing in USD is a bit of expensive)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mostly application-side problems (we have discovered several code-issues using Dynatrace as APM monitoring for all our customers)

long and sharp learning curve, can be overwhelming to get a good grasp of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace provides a platform where all observability data is available at a central place. The AI driven RCA is especially useful.
