What do you like best about the product?
The service is innovative and safe to keep info on cloud. Dynatrace was a good solution. Artificial intelligence makes this work lighter quick and easy.

Not have any specific problem, generally good

database is heavy. Dynatrace software is helpful for moving the database to the cloud. Artificial intelligence keeps the information clean and organized

Multitude of features that comes with Dynatrace. Features such host performance health and service flow.

What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace is really easy to install and use. Helps increase productivity and can positively impact business outcomes. Great providing software intelligence to simplify cloud complexity and accelerate digital transformation, with automatic and intelligent observability.

What do you like best about the product?
I like how my work and performance improved. Definitely you should give it a try. It improves the monitoring services in my company

Nothing, it made my life easier and there was no major issues associated to it.

That is confidential company information, I can´t share it. I am sorry for that.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I can´t explain my company business case, I am sorry for that but it is private information. However, we all definitely recommend, we have seen direct benefits from its usage. The monitoring of our data improved and as we all know nowadays data is the king.

An excellent monitoring tools for SREs

What do you like best about the product?
Observability is an important aspect for managing our infrastructure stack and Dynatrace helps us do it efficiently. Its Service Map gives you exactly what you need to trace the path of data flow and how inter-connected micro services are. We use a lot of serverless (FaaS) in our infrastructure and Dynatrace really helps us troubleshoot failed invocations. Personally, I like 'replay' option which helps you literally re-run the issues and identify what happened.

In addition, they have great integration into all public cloud providers and have multiple options to create your own dashboard. Overall, a great monitoring tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are certain limitations with agentless monitoring. When you do no install AgentOne, you have to put substantial effort to configure visibility and there is a bit of performance impact as well to your applications. One more thing Dynatrace should look into is the onboarding of custom plugins as that felt a bit cumbersome although their pre-built/native integrations work fantastic.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use multiple serverless services to optimize and operate our solutions in public clouds (majorly AWS). Things break often and we use Dynatrace to quickly identify what break where and how to resolve it faster. We also have agent version deployed through Operators in our in-house kubernetes clusters for use by App Developers (for app tracing) and SREs (cluster metrics).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Just give it a short and see if the UX and the metrics/dashboards you get using an agent based monitoring tool is what you need. Their are other products in form of LogzIO and Espagon but each tool has its own unique capabilities when you look under the layers.

For monitoring our on-prem vSphere and Kubernetes clusters, this tool has worked out great.

What do you like best about the product?
The best part of Dynatrace monitoring is the end-to-end view across the stack which allows for faster time to resolution and more visibility. Its got some great visualisation as well to be able to spot the problem areas quickly and also allow for proactive measures to be taken on areas which are starting to look unhealthy. The AI that comes with the product is also quite clever and useful in narrowing down possible root causes of problems. The support team has also been very responsive with questions we've had about the product. They were super patient when we were setting up new workloads and had questions about options with the setup
What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, there's not a lot to dislike about the the tool - maybe some tweaks to the AI around the suggestions could be better but overall its been a great tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The main use case for Dynatrace we're using is for service & operations management of key systems and infrastructure. For this its been a great tool which has helped us improve the overall customer experience. In this respect, we've got a lot of business value from the investment. Its fulfilled our operations teams' needs for visualisation and troubleshooting and has led to an improvement in meeting our Service Level Agreements with our customers. This has reflected in our customer satisfaction scores and has been a contributor to increasing NPS scores amongst our key customers

Recommendations from our experience is just to try it out, perhaps using a workload initially then expanding out to more & more workloads

the starting stage of the application was bit cranky, but eventually it was too good

What do you like best about the product?
Correlates all business ecosystem, quickly pointing out the root cause of the problem;
Easy to integrate other solutions using APIs(API Friendly);
Easy to create plugins for especialized monitoring;
Friendly interface;
Robust architecture.
What do you dislike about the product?
Solution NAN is gone, but i understood this reason for this;
Don´t have support for synthetic mobile monitoring.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Automation and management of the infraestructure of a complex environment of IT, 25k hosts monitored. We deplored this amount of agents in 3 months, incrible;
With metrics of Dynatrace was possible implement self-realing more easier;
The easy intregation other solutions was possible create a magnificent dashboards for management of business.

If you are looking for a solution for infrastructure and application performance management, you have found the right solution, with this engine it is possible for the company to have the right answers for the growth of its business.

Dynatrace - Good Application Performance Monitoring capabilities with easy Integration Capabilities

What do you like best about the product?
Diverse set of features available for application performance monitoring.
Pick and choose the different monitoring parameters .
Ability to customize dashboard and incorporate custom monitoring needs.
Easy Integration with Messaging channels like Slack for prompt notification
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing specific but given an opportunity would like to reduce the turn around time for initial deployment.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have a integrated log monitoring solution using Dynatrace which helps us proactively monitor our logs and check performance of our distributed web services , there response time, time out issue and proactively update us in Slack channels. This has reduced MTBF (Mean time between failures) since now we can proactively find issue much before they happen in our DEV/TEST environments and take remediation steps.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Be ready with you use cases for Dynatrace product evaluations and also your key evaluation metrics. . Prioritize your requirements for good product evaluations. There are so many diverse features in this product and it important to focus on what your need is vs what all it can offer.
