Easy debugging, a time saving
What do you like best about the product?
Rookout enables us to debug our production efficiency and easily without stopping the application.
The new IDE plug-in is a success - now I can enjoy debugging experience in IDE in many languages.

UX/ UI can improve, also web UI isn’t available in Safari.

Live debug that can save us developer time - enables us to debug without worrying to stop our service.

I think there seems to be an compatability issue with legacy ones and it would be really good if it can be made compatible with those as well

It helps in alerting and monitoring things so that we can fix the issue actually it impacts the business

Dynatrace monitors and analyzes our IT infrastructure and uses it's AI continuously to look for issues and spots the root cause

None at this point. They've met our expectations and delivered great value to my organization. I have not used the ServiceNow Integration

Full-stack monitoring and proactive alarms offering the level of visibility into the health of our systems and where we need to optimize
Never thought debugging could be this easy without access to the actual process
What do you like best about the product?
Everything worked just out of the box. The documentation was on point and easy to follow and even the whole onboarding process and contact was great at all times!
What do you dislike about the product?
The sales personnel was kind of pushy at times which makes sense as they want to sell the product but that's just something I don't quite like. You have an awesome product and we were willing to buy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We needed to be able to debug our application which got lifted and shifted into a cloud environment. We were used to being able to debug straight from the IDE which does not work in the cloud. Rookout closed that gap easily

very easy and seamless integration with existing services

sometimes its hard to determine what version of the code is running

It gives us the ability to remote debug and monitor our applications ad hoc without any complicated preparations
Rookout adds tremendous value in minutes
What do you like best about the product?
I like the ease of use. I can take an app, and within just a few minutes have the rookout agent present and setting breakpoints to look deeper into issues. It is not overly complicated to use but provides a tremendous amount of context around problems (that usually can't be easily obtained) and allows them to be resolved faster, greatly adding value.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes finding various items with the color scheme can be a bit difficult. However there have been some great improvements with this over the previous months, and I am excited to see how the product continues to develop.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Rookout is solving problems around understanding where "Things went wrong" in the code, but not always my code, but both other departments code and customers code too that interfaces with us. This benefits me in the sense that I am able to have a better understanding of code at runtime, especially the customers code / others code that I do not have a full debugging environment setup for. This is all done in just a few minutes and can greatly help to reduce the time I spend troubleshooting code-level issues.
Debugging was never s easy when local debugging is impossible

1. rookout gives you the ability to debug remote service easily, it is very powerful when you cannot do it locally on your dev machine.

1. that it was not available 5 years ago
2. I would like to get statistics on the local variables that the break point is on, compared to the current feature which lets you get every snapshot of the local variable (until the limit that you specify)

Rookout lets you debug service in production without the fear of stopping or slowing down the service. debugging in production is very powerful because you debug the service on real production data.
Reliable analytics to strengthen web-oriented decision making
What do you like best about the product?
It is an amazing software for tracking web applications, with effective features and analytics that have helped us to foster viable decision making to deliver a better audience-facing web experience. It helps us identify potential problems within our websites and efficiently eradicate them as quickly as possible. Their customer service is excellent with attentive and responsive staff.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is limited for customization and integration with third party tools, nothing more to say, it works fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace is a dynamic and easy to use tool, it has helped us to constantly track performance within our web portals and provides useful data to take initiative in tracking and solving possible problems within our websites to provide a better experience in the future for users interacting with them.
Get a pipeline to your bugs in production
What do you like best about the product?
Rookout has gotten us to a better life. It helps us to see flows/bugs in production and identify bugs in our complex production services. We can instantly add logs and debug that saves us time and provide effort in improvements rather than basic functions.It has been a great success
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing i can think of right away. I find a steep learning curve and hope it was a bit faster for people to learn it. That might make it quick to adapt for all of our teams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
For our work, we use Rookout to debug customers' issues in our many production services. We have about 25 servers and need quick access. And Rookout helps.
