A happy customer experience with Dynatrace
What do you like best about the product?
The root cause analysis and Dynatrace monitoring
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the dashboard features and tagging does not work as expected. Events such as process restarts just give the timeline and event name but they do not give details about the root cause or do not give the option to drill down further from the view to analyze the root cause.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Prompt information about the response time hotspots and problems.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of install, and the wide variety of features available. This provides us with endless potential to improve form IT response and go further into business insights.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lots to learn, and there are some inconsistencies in functionality. Some of the dashboarding is not user-friendly and formatting it to show useful insights can be difficult.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our first focus is to improve monitoring and alerting to drive down user report incidents and become more proactive. Once stable we want to move onto business insights and start providing value to team outside of IT.
Dynatrace One Agent and AI problem detection is smooth
What do you like best about the product?
Dynatrace's one agent is easy to install and you get all the applications on that box instrumented. Dynatrace detects all our services, processes automatically and detects any slowness or unavailability using its AI engine. No need to setup any manual alert
What do you dislike about the product?
Some time the end to end stiching goes too deep that it is difficult to understand where the purepath starts and where it ends. Also, Dynatrace should give ability to raise alert on MQ or Kafka backlog.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace provides me with Day 1 monitoring of any new or existing app. No need to setup any alert. All services and processes are auto detected. Enables us with deep dive of purepath.

Dynatrace support is top notch, whether weekly session or chat. They are always available to answer question.

The biggest hurdle for a non profit organization is cost. There's a lot of tools in Dynatracethat cost extra licenses that we couldn't use because our budged.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Dynatrace is helping to create useful dashboards for different applications. This is also alerting us on slowdowns and errors on various systems.
Dynatrace - a good monitoring tool as well as a platform
What do you like best about the product?
The ever-expanding capabilities for monitoring and the ease of integration that it provides to be able to connect to further monitoring/testing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
The lack of support for some of the legacy technology. Every focus is on monitoring the newer technology, what about the one that's still out there and has been there for years? Expanding scope will be a lot more helpful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can look at infrastructure issues in real time rather than relying on our teams to get details from administrators on what's happening. It helps cut down the delays.
A great tool with a great service
What do you like best about the product?
Give you the option to debug code on higher envs that you don't have access. As it a new service we are using I used the chat multiple times and always got quick responses and help

It's not intuitive to me, and it took me multiple sessions to start working flawlessly

Rookout saves me time in deploying the application with logs to identify issues. It has an IDE-like experience that feels natural and smooth.

Save us time in deploying logs to track down bugs on production. Gives us better visability

What do you like best about the product?
Full Insight into debugging info with minimal efforts
What do you dislike about the product?
Yet to find any limitations but feature roadmap will be useful
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Reduces the reliance on extensive logging and if there are repeatable business transactions one can see the entire lifecycle through live debugging with good filtering capabilities, without having a need to redeploy multiple times with hit and try log statements.
