Review for Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
What I like most about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that it gives people the ability to collaborate on a page together at real time. For example, I used it for a group project and were all able to look at and edit the diagram together.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is there may be a lag when it comes to editing. When someone edits, the changes may not show right that same second causing a delay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is solving an issue that allows me to collaborate with a group online. It benefits me because there doesn't have to be a back and forth sending papers to check answers.
Great collaborative tool
What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy the fact that I can collaborate in real time with my team and external parties. It has a richer feature set for specific tech items that we are working on now. I like the UI as well. It's easy to set up and get going with, no issues there at all.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be a little bland but otherwise I don't really dislike anything about it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to organise and structure out a significant tech project as well as work with external consultants.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Feedback
What do you like best about the product?
I love two things about Lucid, the first is the collaboration aspect. Other competitors, such as Visio make it difficult to work together on the same architectural diagram.
The other aspect that I love is that it has all the Azure and AWS cloud icons; I don't have to go and download them and organise them myself; I can just search it up and drag it to the canvas.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing major to dislike.
It's a personal preference, but I don't like the infinite canvas. It encourages team members to sprawl their diagrams rather than having them modular, but this is something I can control with good governance.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As a Solution Architect, I leverage Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create and maintain comprehensive architectural diagrams and network mappings.
The platform is important during our pre-development phase, allowing me and the team to effectively communicate complex system designs to stakeholders and development teams.
During active development, Lucid serves as our single source of truth, ensuring all team members remain aligned with the architectural vision and technical requirements. This visual collaboration approach significantly reduces misinterpretation and accelerates our decision-making process.

Good and getting better
What do you like best about the product?
So many templates. It has been great to build in Lucid and then go and browse the many templates and examples they offer. Often, I'll spark ideas based on the examples they have in their library.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is still more dificult than it should be from a design and text standpoint. If you're comfortable with keynote/power-point, there are functions that that are difficult to do in Lucid (like text formatting in shapes, copy/pasting effects, etc).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Customer journey and process mapping is the biggest use case for me. Taking hand-drawn white-board sessions and turning them into a digital, digestible copy saves a ton of time in viewing and finding issues in our processes.
Provides Accessibility and Fosters Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I liked how it allowed multiple users to collaborate and brainstorm in one spot. It also had a lot of cool features that allowed us to brainstorm and map out our ideas in an organized and visually appealing way.
What do you dislike about the product?
Having to join with an account and not paying for it gave me very limited amount of editing options which could make it uncomfortable to use for first=timers who are asked to work on it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly, it has helped with providing a platform that multiple users can edit and share ideas on from different devices.
Great Product
What do you like best about the product?
Virtual collaboration is made much easier with multi-user editing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the functions may not be immediately obvious on how to utilize them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My team is fully remote, so the virtual whiteboarding allows us to feel like we are in the same room together.
Good for team discussion and opinion posting
What do you like best about the product?
It's really helpful for letting us know about the teammates view in a topic more precisely not only for getting a overview of a idea result but it will let us know how really people are into the game & their intrest by getting their view helps in team organising based on the goal we have
What do you dislike about the product?
Obviously make it total free 😁 till now i am fine with what i am using
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps me in getting review of ideas & for posting a really impactful move to let the team know how important it is
Great product for quick diagramming
What do you like best about the product?
It's really easy to use, intuitive, and has a ton of options for designing the right diagram for your purpose
What do you dislike about the product?
The text modification within a diagram can be a little tricky, the formatting is a little harder to handle than a word processor.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping me design more digestible presentations for work.
Good flow chart/visualization tool for Product Management
What do you like best about the product?
Its a pretty straightforward tool to use for my specific use case which is building flowcharts that are linked to our confluence instance. I leverage the atlassian integration so my wikis that are in need of additional detail will also include the lucidchart flowcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
No real issues with it to be honest - I picked it up without any training or insight into it and was able to do what I needed quickly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Text to describe things becomes too dense at times, especially when trying to go over bullet points in a meeting or in a presentation. Showing a flowchart like the ones I can create in Lucid helps me be able to walk thru the process more effectively/efficiently.
Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. I create all my model schemas on Lucid charts
What do you dislike about the product?
Doesn't give you all the formatting of text format and colours like excel
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating / Drawing up Model schemas which can be very helpful when explaining model development to end users
