Excellent for Team Process Organization
What do you like best about the product?
It is a great tool for organizing steps and presenting processes for the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
It takes a couple tries to actually get the results you need since there are so many options, and it feels a bit disorganized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use it mostly for collaborative presentations with the team, to make sure we all follow the same action path.
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite Solves All Our Problems.
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to describe a process flow. I like how simple and easy it is to learn and use. It is super effective for visualizing systems and finding ways to improve our product and delivery. I like how easy it is to use and provides an interface that lets you control versions the same way that Google Drive does.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have been using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for 4 years now and so far I haven't experienced any issues.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has helped me to thoroughly think through the processes we have in place and visualize them to gain a deeper understanding of the whole process. Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is so much better than anything else i have used in the past.
Lucidchart Elevates Technical Diagrams and Streamlines Creative Workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart’s specific libraries for ER (Entity Relationship) diagrams and UML shapes make my technical work look industry-standard. It allows me to visually prove to future employers, "I don't just know the theory of database design; here is the actual schema I built."
I can start in Lucidspark, dumping sticky notes for my film script or brainstorming features for the app. Once those messy ideas solidify, I can instantly switch to Lucidchart to map out the actual logic. I don't need to migrate data. It allows me to go from "Wouldn't it be cool if the app had community events?" to a concrete "User Flow Diagram" in the same ecosystem.

What do you dislike about the product?
I wanted to build my portfolio using tools that are completely free of cost. Lucid is aggressive with its paywall. The 60-object limit on the free plan is frustratingly low; I hit it almost immediately when trying to map a detailed user flow for an App. It forces me to break work into tiny, disconnected documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I juggle complex, invisible logic (like AI RAG models and SQL schemas) alongside creative concepts (like my dystopian film storyboards). The main problem I face is translating these abstract ideas into something tangible that others can understand. It turns the backend logic of my App into clear flowcharts. I can see exactly where the user journey breaks before I write a single line of code.
Streamlined Visualization, Needs Robust AI and Import Features
What do you like best about the product?
I mostly use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for making flowcharts and organizational charts. It offers a neat and easy-to-read presentation of charts, allowing us to share them with anyone we need to in a user-friendly design. The AI tool is nice in the limited areas it works, and it really speeds things up when plotting and populating charts. One of the best things about it is that it's relatively easy to figure out how to use and put things together nicely.
What do you dislike about the product?
The AI tool can be improved and should be usable in more places and scenarios. The importing of CSV files to populate a chart isn't great and generally doesn't work well. The integration with Google Spaces doesn't show much.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for making flowcharts and organization charts. It presents charts neatly and user-friendly, making them easy to read, understand, and share.
Comprehensive Planning Tools for Every Project
What do you like best about the product?
It provides all available planning and designing tools required head start any IT related project or even the project that is different from IT related industry.
What do you dislike about the product?
The theme is very basic and restricted. I have dark mode enabled on my Macbook but I needed white background on Lucid but I was unable to find that feature. Maybe AI will help make things better for example I provide the description and it creates the required diagram for me in Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am studying as Master's student doing by degree in IT and I require this tool for my courses such as Database, Object Oriented etc.
Excellent in creating diagrams in various formats reliably
What do you like best about the product?
They provide templates to many diagrams to make it easy for their users and it has a lot of icons and shapes and if there is one that you can’t find there you can always add it from an external file. On top of that it offers great flexibility and this makes me prefer it as a way to quickly create diagrams and flowcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a huge con but I would like to have a dedicated macOS application although still the features are amazing with the browser access.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the software to create wireframes and to produce diagrams that highlight critical network segments and external connection points. It helps me a lot in visualizing which devices have access to our sensitive servers.
Effortless Visualization and Collaboration with Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
I love that Lucid makes complex ideas incredibly easy to visualize and share. The Suite’s intuitive interface, real-time collaboration, and rich templates help teams turn ambiguous concepts into clear, actionable plans — even when working remotely or asynchronously.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only real challenge I’ve experienced is the learning curve for new users — the platform is incredibly capable, but that means there’s a lot to explore up front. Clearer onboarding paths or more contextual guidance could help teams get full value even faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid addresses the problem of scattered collaboration by unifying diagramming, whiteboarding, and project planning in one place. Instead of juggling multiple tools, I can map processes, gather feedback, and refine ideas in a single shared workspace. This has streamlined my workflow, improved team alignment, and eliminated the friction that usually comes from context switching.
Effortless Data Modeling with Intuitive Tools
What do you like best about the product?
I find the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite easy to use, and I appreciate the drag and drop feature for diagramming. The initial setup was very easy, which is a big plus.
What do you dislike about the product?
none
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for data modeling to ensure my query is correct.
Effortless Diagramming with an Intuitive Interface
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is straightforward to use and makes it easy to get started right away. Its drag-and-drop interface allows me to create even complex diagrams effortlessly, which is why I find myself turning to it frequently for its convenience.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free tier comes with few limitations, including caps on the number of documents, restrictions on the number of objects allowed per diagram, and limited export options. These constraints can pose challenges for users who are unable to upgrade to the premium plan.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid makes it much easier to communicate complex ideas clearly. When I share diagrams with my team, everyone is able to quickly grasp workflows and processes, which leads to better collaboration and less confusion.
Effortless Flow Creation and Updates
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use and create and update flows once I decided to read the help hints.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not totally intuitive but pretty close. I had to look around for a few of the functions that I wanted to perform like creating swim lanes and moving them around. but once I read up the help topics it was easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
