Best Mind Mapping and Flowchart Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
An outstanding tool! Lucidchart is distinguished, has collaborative features and user-friendly design. I really like its adaptability, I use it a lot for process maps, flowcharts, step-by-step processing mapping and mind mapping because its easy to build anything. Good collection of templates and forms, real-time collaboration for team projects and there are cool integrations available. Thumbs up!!
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing yet, I have not really experienced any issues whatsoever.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We use it to streamline our processes and procedures in order to improve out Quality, customer satisfaction and profitability, and also to encourage Digital Adoption.
Easy and Efficient
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about this app is the ability to get everyone on the same page without needed to share additional notes. All notes care kept in one place and easily accessible by everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
I do not have a dislike fot this product yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is most used to store the company-wide flow chart that shows step-by-step who is responsible for which process.
AMAZING and easy to use software!
What do you like best about the product?
I LOVE being able to use my creativity and make visuals, specifically process mapping. Being able to visually see my flow and how certain operations happen within my company is not only helpful for the person doing the tasks but also for transparency for management and other departments to understand what it is you are doing in your role!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have much to say in terms of anything negative, it does exactly what I need and its super easy to use!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Our new hires in our department get a little confused on the process flow when they first start with us. I have created maps for them to follow to make onboarding someone new a breeze!
Nothing equals Lucid to share your vision of a new product or of a High Level Architecture Design
What do you like best about the product?
For the entire time I've been in the Software Development Field, Lucid has been a core component of visualization and collaboration. You can create an initial document, send it to others and work on it with multiple people in real time. I have built lots of High Level System Architecture documents, Database schema, lots of Organigrams and even interactive UI Mockups where you can click on buttons. It is very easy to implement new High level designs, which without Lucid, I'm really not sure if I would be able to share my vision this clearly.
You can create Teams or Folders and add people in them so that you can share and find documents very easily. The folder architecture is great and allows me to organize the documents and design by projects/products. It integrates very well with Entra ID.
I have built our SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) using this platform as well. Easy to then share to everyone.
I had one problem related to my graphics card and a brand new update (boxes were appearing weirdly) they released at one point, contacted their support and they enabled me to turn off the feature flag from the UI for that new feature within hours, and they fixed the problem a few days later for me to use the fonctionnality. Truely a great compagny.
If you aren't using Lucid in 2024/2025, you are definetly missing on something very good. I personnaly use it on a daily basis.

I really like everything about Lucid. There isn't anything that I wish was better.
There are functionnalities which I think could be great to add. I always want to generate Icons using AI for new internal software services to add branding, it could be interesting for the platform to have this built in. Someplace where you tell it "Hey here is what my service is doing, please generate an SVG icon for it and I want to to be related to an eagle." and it would generate icons for you choose where to add it. I think this would be a great addition to a visualization platform like this.

Lucid is solving the main problem of creating the same vision for everyone. To me, this is the most important problem that it solves. A picture is worth a thousand words.
Great free educational tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like using it to collect student work.

I don't like that unless you pay for a subscription all work is public. I have my students using the free software to create network maps.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the functions, like Flowchart, Mind map, etc. The templates are rich. Also, the template colors are good. Sometimes, I use these free functions to draw work or study charts, like UML graphs and a programming logic. I can share the work with my colleagues and they can see my drawing immediately. I like the functions which are free of use. Before, I used some similar software to draw these diagrams, but because they are not free, so I gave up them. Instead, I use this software. If it's possible to have more free functions, that will be better.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is little I dislike about this Lucidchart software. I can use them easily and some of the functions are for free. The only thing is that I'd like to try more free editable documents and then consider to buy the premium, and the fee for the premium is a little bit high for me.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When I learned a coursera course named Software Architecture, the teacher recommended me this Lucidchart software. The teacher gave us some UML templates, and I used the templates and revised them. I used it to draw UML diagrams, design diagrams, etc. I designed the flow charts of the functions, and object oriented classes. Moreover, I used the Mind map function to draw my brainstorming ideas, like my programming plans in the future, etc. Then I shared the Mind map with my colleagues and they saw my ideas and gave me feedback. They really helped me and improved my work efficiency.

Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite helps teams solve problems by providing tools for planning, designing, building, and launching solutions. It can help with a variety of tasks.
Lucid Chart is easy to use and intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I use Lucid Chart for creating process flow diagrams. It is easy to use and much faster than competitive products like Visio. I also like that my process flow diagrams are automatically saved to my account and I have the ability to share the file and collaborate with other team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
Because it is web-based, I have to be careful about not accidentally closing the window or refreshing the page to another website without the changes being stored. This has happened to me in the past, but they seem to have resolved the issue by auto-saving files as changes are made.

Our best collaborative process mapping tool so far
What do you like best about the product?
Being part of the atlassian ecosystem from whom we have already adopted Jira and confluence this tool allows our teams to work seamless and contribute to our mapping and coumentaion tools and helps us build high quality mappings and prototypes. Customer support guided by community articles is excellent and easy to implement. I use it frequently everyday. Easily integrates with confluence.

We use Lucid for Business Process Mapping, Value Planning and collaborative solutioning for our International enterprise clients as part of the Customer Value Team for our Talent Acquisition Expeience Management products
