Phenomenal product that replaces the office whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
I love how fast it is to go from a blank slate to a beautiful and comprehensive set of charts, all linked and able to be commented on by collaborators. For asynchronous work, or where the teams are not all in one building, this is a must-have tool. I use this every day for strategic planning, and have implemented into our development planning sessions with ease! My team was quick to integrate this into our flow. The support team reached out for feedback and were responsive to commentary.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd love for there to be more functionality around Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), specifically being able to import from say, and excel file, and being able to generate an ERD based on sheets/tables and column-headers/fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given that our team is not all in the same building, sometimes we need to do some whiteboarding to think through complex processes, and Lucid is our means of doing so. Other tools that have whiteboarding features do not come close.

Simplicity in a robust tool
What do you like best about the product?
The Lucid Visual Suite, and more specifically Ludic Chart & Lucid Spark, have been invaluable tools as I've been working to organize a project management system for a company from a blank slate. The depth and power of the tools makes quick work of getting a visual representation for large, complex systems. The learning curve was very low and took me about 20 minutes from opening the software to having a solid base of knowledge on how to optimally use the tool. The user interface is wonderful and I use it very often. I've thoroughly enjoyed using the Suite and am excited to introduce it to the rest of the team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't say there's much to dislike from me. Some of the quick shortcuts can get in the way at times, but it's all working to plan and it really is more about adjusting behavoirs that a need for change of the system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's allowed me to completely visualize and create structural heirarchy, taxonomy and navigation structure for integration into a new project management enterprise software. Building this system from scratch for a company has been challenging, but Lucid chart has allowed me the space and tools I need to brainstorm and organize my ideas, resulting in a clean implementation of my work.
Great for Collaborative Design
What do you like best about the product?
It's super flexible - I can design everything from wireframes down to micro service interactions and database schemas
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some objects I wish it had that I have to create from scratch
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
its the best I've found for a general-purpose, very powerful, adaptable design collaboration tool I've found

A Great Tool
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to be very helpful, especially Lucidchart. The ease of creating complex diagrams with well-crafted premade templates is extremely useful. Everything can be customized to your specific needs. I have been using it very frequently now and am quite pleased. It's very easy to get started.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only thing that is a little frustrating is that when you are getting started on the free diagrams they don't tell you that you will have a limited number of shapes you can use. So after you have spent a few hours working, you realize you have to pay to keep on finishing your work. It would be beneficial to make that information more easily available at the beginning.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have been making some complex workflow diagrams for our company with many different points and connections. This has made a difficult diagram easier to make and understand. I am very pleased with it.
New user impressed with short learning curve and excellent training
What do you like best about the product?
The collaboration tools are valuable to keep our disbursed team on track by working asynchronously across time zones. This mostly obviates the need to meet constantly and allows us to get resolution on outstanding issues quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be my newness to Lucid, but the selection of multiple objects is not always easy. Additionally, when working in multiple layers, you can lose track of what you are selecting and moving.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is our go-to collaborative sandbox and single source of truth. We can keep all of our thoughts, wireframes, and ideas in one place, with all contributors providing their thoughts just-in-time.
The best diagramming package
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to create clear, easy to understand diagrams. The UI is quite intuitive for most things and offers most of the features I have ever wanted.
What do you dislike about the product?
The amount of icons available makes searching hard. If I search for "instance" I have to wade through a load of other instances to get to "EC2 instance" If I search "EC2 instance" it still finds EC2 A1 instance, EC2 M1 instance, ..... etc.....
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagrams can explain complex infrastructure or flows more easily than reams of words.
My Go-To Tool for Brainstorming and Mapping Ideas
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark is such a lifesaver when it comes to organizing my thoughts. The interface is super clean, and it doesn’t take long to get the hang of it. I love how easy it is to create diagrams and map out workflows—especially for client projects where I need to see how all the pieces fit together. The real-time collaboration features are awesome too. My team and clients can jump in, leave comments, and share ideas right on the board, which has made brainstorming sessions so much smoother.
What do you dislike about the product?
As much as I love Lucidspark, there are a few things that could be better. The mobile version, for example, feels a bit limited compared to the desktop app. If I’m on the go and need to make quick edits, it’s not as smooth as I’d like. Also, working on really big diagrams can feel a bit clunky on older devices.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark has completely changed how I brainstorm and organize ideas for client projects. It helps me break down big ideas into smaller, manageable pieces and see how everything connects. This has been a game-changer for client presentations because it lets me explain complex concepts visually, which clients love. It also speeds up my workflow (no more wasting time drawing things by hand or figuring out how to format stuff).
