Lucid Charts for design documentation
What do you like best about the product?
I have been using lucid charts for creating design documents for application, its user experience I like the most. Multiple users can collaborate and discuss about the design.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see various tools integrated with charts in the future.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have use this charts for creating documentation for application flow, which will be used by other user, to understand the flow. I think individual can learn quickly if one can see the diagrams rather than long written documents.
First time user from Ocado
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to use. Immediately able to pick it up as a previous power user of Mural. Plus great to be able to share with people outside of the org.
What do you dislike about the product?
No major downsides! Genuinely enjoyed using the product and felt it could deliver exactly what I've been able to deliver using Mural.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming ideas, plus prioritising those ideas with a large group of people (and some virtual)
Helpful Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid has great flow chart and org chart capabilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving connection lines can be really tedious. Sometimes I find myself spending way too much time on aesthetics and become frustrated.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Telling the proper story of the customer journey with visuals.
A tool like this is a must for project management
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy and intuitive to use. There is not a long learning curve to gain competency and get value out of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't know there is anything specific that I 'dislike'. One competitor, Miro, is the first one I used of the too so I have more familiarity there. Sometimes its hard to supplant the predecessor but I've not had any issues being able to get the same outcomes. Largely from a feature perspective, they are pretty analogous. Really I think it comes down to preference. Pepsi or Coke? Ford of Chevy? Apple or Andro....ok that one doesn't really work ha.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work to build out and map out complex solutions to business problems. Being able to mind dump quickly and draw correlations is critical to me.
GREAT system
What do you like best about the product?
As a Human Resources professional, I've used a lot of tools to manage communication, process mapping, and training initiatives—but Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite has genuinely impressed me. Whether I’m brainstorming recruitment strategies with leadership or mapping out onboarding processes for new hires, Lucidchart and Lucidspark help bring clarity and creativity to every conversation.
Overall, Lucid empowers teams to communicate with clarity, spark innovation, and align around shared goals. It’s a game-changer for strategic thinkers and creative problem solvers alike!

What do you dislike about the product?
The full suite can get pricey for smaller HR departments or nonprofit teams. It would be great to see more flexible pricing tiers or discounts tailored to nonprofits or solo professionals.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My company was able to be more professional and streamlined
Solid tool, with the ease of approach I want and depth when I need it
What do you like best about the product?
I can create diagrams, documentation, flowcharts and more quickly, with minimal fuss and I never feel like I'm fighting the tool for what I want. There's an intuitive man-machine interface here that other products fail to tune in on.
What do you dislike about the product?
I had to stretch to find something I didn't like. One thing to look at, is that I like to use Dark Mode flags in my browsers - now granted this is an experimental feature not currently fully supported - and in some edge cases Lucid is hard to use with these flags, certain transparencies or visibilities don't display fully properly, and the behavior isn't quite the same between browsers either.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most recently I used it for project planning flowcharts, but I used it for documentation on auth methods too. Whenever I need a fast diagram or a solid flowchart, I turn to Lucid. It's on my bookmarks bar/favorites bar. I don't even always save my work either, sometimes I use it a bit for a scratchpad and then delete.
Lucid values your feedback, share on G2!
What do you like best about the product?
I like that I am able to collaborate asynchronously - it allows me to learn more about how others think and strategize.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bummer that there is a limit to "shapes" or post-its with the free version.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping us take complex business processes by creating visual aids that allow for us to both demonstrate the complexity, but also helping us not feel confused by the complexity.
