Easy to use software for beautiful diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
I like the built-in images for cloud resources and configurability of text and grouping
What do you dislike about the product?
Connecting some images with arrows can be very frustrating and occasionally look odd with white space.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Explaining application architecture is a communication problem and that images can simplify. You can explain an application in minutes with a diagram that could never be fully understood without one.
Great for planning and organizing your complex projects and thoughts
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is very easy to use even for first time users. There are so many features and customizations that allowed me to organize my complex projects and thoughts into visuals that helped my team better understand the flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
There isn't much negative to say so far. I've only had positive experiences with Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me to organize my complex projects and thoughts into visuals that helped my team better understand the flow. It's also great for collaborating and visualizing concepts with team members and external teams that may not have the same level of technical expertise.
A straight-forward process flow system
What do you like best about the product?
As far as working through flow charts, there's nothing I've ever used that touches the simplicity of Lucid Chart. The UI is fantastic, the feature set is robust, and it's remarkably easy to add users for collaborative access.
What do you dislike about the product?
Putting an element count limit behind a paywall makes it difficult for paid users/organizations to bring in collaboration from someone outside of the organization. It makes it hard to suggest to any organization that intends to collaborate with third parties.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid is the solving the problem of working on collaborative flow charts between individuals from separate, partnered companies.
Great Process Mapping Tool!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid's Visual Collaboration Suite is a fantastic tool to bring processes to life in order to streamline and improve experiences.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across any negatives so far - and I have used it whilst working for my last two companies.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Often it can be difficult to articulate onto paper a process when looking to make improvements. Where previously I would have used a wipeboard or large sheets of paper and sticky notes to map out a current process (either in silo or as part of a team), Lucid enables me to map a process on screen from day one - and allow for straighforward adjustments by my team and myself to drive improvements.
Handy and Fast diagrams for presentations
What do you like best about the product?
Its so easy to make useful and self-explanatory diagrams
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I am not able to click the diagram boxes (below and above layer problem)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To present ideas and show the flows to others
It is friendly to use
What do you like best about the product?
It was easy to use and very intuitive. It was a great tool to create my process and understand them better
What do you dislike about the product?
If you need to add a process on the middle of the diagram it could be a little difficult to move all you've done and reorganize.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
.Having a process diagram is useful to visualize the workflow, identify bottlenecks, recognize key milestones, and find opportunities to be more efficient.

Diagraming front end and backend collaboration base on user flow and actions required to do
Great Software for sharing schematics and design
What do you like best about the product?
I like how versatile it is. My team and I can use it to collaborate on retros, but we can also use it to showcase designs and data flows for our core team work. Being able to share and work together makes it easy and allows us to move more rapidly as we grow in our organization.
What do you dislike about the product?
Knowing how best to diagram things is sometimes an initial challenge, but many of the pre-made templates make this easier to get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's super helpful for working as a team to understand and showcase user stories, retros after sprints, and diagram new data flows and structures to make it easier for less technical stakeholders to understand the designs.

Collaboration Made Clear: My Experience with Lucid
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is how seamlessly it enables real-time collaboration on complex ideas. The intuitive drag-and-drop interface, combined with powerful templates and integrations (like Google Drive, Slack, and Jira), makes it easy for teams to brainstorm, diagram workflows, and align on strategy—whether they're in the same room or across time zones. The visual clarity it brings to planning sessions, org charts, and project mapping is unmatched. Plus, the ability to comment, tag, and update live reduces back-and-forth emails and keeps everyone on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that while it's feature-rich, the learning curve can be a bit steep for new users unfamiliar with visual diagramming tools. Some advanced features—like conditional formatting or data linking—aren’t as intuitive as they could be and may require additional training or support. Also, performance can lag slightly when working on very large or complex diagrams with multiple collaborators. Lastly, certain features are locked behind higher-tier pricing, which might not be ideal for small teams or individual users with limited budgets.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite solves several key problems related to communication, alignment, and productivity—especially in remote or cross-functional teams. Here's how it's benefited me:
Problems Solved:
Lack of visual clarity in complex projects – Text-based tools fall short when explaining intricate workflows or structures.
Communication gaps in remote teams – Without a shared visual workspace, ideas often get lost in translation.
Inefficient brainstorming sessions – Traditional whiteboards or scattered notes aren't scalable or collaborative in real time.
Difficulty aligning stakeholders – Getting buy-in across departments is hard without a clear visual representation.
Benefits for Me:
Better collaboration: Real-time editing and commenting keep everyone aligned without endless meetings.
Faster decision-making: Visuals simplify complex ideas, helping stakeholders grasp concepts quickly.
Improved productivity: With templates and integrations, I can build diagrams or roadmaps faster than starting from scratch.
Centralized documentation: All visual assets live in one place, making it easier to revisit and iterate on past work.
Overall, Lucid helps bridge the gap between ideas and execution by making everything more tangible and accessible.
