A versatile Tool for engineering grade enhancements

  • September 22, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
From an engineering standpoint, the suite's integration with tools like Jira, Confluence and Github streamlines traceability between design artifacts and implementation. The ability to co-author flowcharts, sequence diagrams, and architecture maps with live stakeholder input reduces latency in decision making and helps mitigate miscommunication early in the development cycle. Additionally, Lucid's support for conditional formatting, data linking and custom templates makes it scalable for both exploratory design and formal documentation. It's particularly useful in pre-silicon planning phases where clarity and speed are critical.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucid's change tracking is relatively shallow, it doesn't offer granular diffing or rollback capabilities to Git which can be a bottleneck when multiple contributors are iterating on architecture diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid enables rapid prototyping of system architectures, flow diagrams and decision trees. the ability to co-edit and comment in real time accelerates design iteration and helps surface edge cases early in the planning phase.

Lucid is powerful in bridging abstraction and collaboration

  • September 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid's collaborative diagrams function as a common language, making it easier to align on experimental designs, deployment pipelines or data governance without requiring every participant to be fluent in the mathematical underpinnings. Lucid's value to me lies not just in visualizing but in amplifying research cognition and collaboration two forces that accelerate progress in a field where iteration speed and clarity of thought are paramount.
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving between code and diagrams can occasionally fragment focus. Without a bi-directional mapping between the two, diagrams risk lagging behind the actual state of the research.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the problem of structuring messy thoughts. When i'm sketching out a new model architecture, planning experiments or mapping out data flows, things can get overwhelming fast. Putting it into a diagram forces me to clarify my thinking, spot gaps, and see the bigger picture without getting lost in details. The benefit is really about speed and clarity.

Lucid really helped my team work through several project roadmaps and create processes.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It gives my team a singular space to really display their ideas and cuts out the millions of emails back and forth to help us agree on processes and designs for projects. It's pretty easy to implement and my team uses it on most projects. Plus, the support is easily accessible. Integration was a breeze.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's a bit of a learning curve for my non-project manager teammates but we make it easy to understand with a few display sessions so they can understand all the features.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's giving me a singular hub for mind mapping where my team and I illustrate our ideas with clarity and can organize processes with ease.

Very good at giving tools for building Visuals & Diagrams, while also mapping journey tasks.

What do you like best about the product?
Live stream update, working in collab and the tools
What do you dislike about the product?
needs more tool variation and maybe some better pixel quality on the scroll feature
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
rather than tracking it is able to provide a path of what needs to be done in what order so that we can see where we are at, but more importantly it allows us to have a first instance of what it would look like or what time frame we have for this, and made better with visual creations

Purposeful and built for momentum

  • September 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid makes it incredibly easy to import graphic design elements directly into wireframes. Our creative assets from logos to UI components can be easily integrated into early stage concepts. It is a huge win for brand consistency and speeds up design to development pipeline.

One of Lucid's most powerful features is its intuitive drag and drop interface. It democratizes design and fosters real time collaboration across departments. Lucid is a catalyst for innovation.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is not a tool, it is a productivity powerhouse.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid's framework libraries and templates eliminate the blank canvas syndrome. Whether it's a landing page layout, a user flow or a campaign wireframe i start with proven structures and customize from there. i save hours in planning and design. My teams focus on strategy and storytelling, not reinventing the wheel.

Sketching success with Lucid

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is not just a diagramming tool, it is a strategic asset for visualizing and optimizing how work gets done. It makes it easy to visualize team structures, project timelines and resource dependencies. I have built dynamic org charts and Gnatt style visuals that help me plan for growth and adjust workloads in real time.
What do you dislike about the product?
When working with complex process maps or large org charts the platform can lag or become sluggish. This affects productivity during live collaboration sessions when multiple users are editing simultaneously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Operational workflows were often buried in spreadsheets or siloed tools. Lucid helps me visualize these processes end to end so everyone from leadership to frontline teams can understand how things connect. Without a clear picture of dependencies and bottlenecks, decisions took longer. Lucid speeds this up by allowing us to map out scenarios, risks and resource needs visually. New hires used to spend weeks trying to understand our systems. Now we use lucid diagrams and dashboards to give them a clear interactive overview of how things work.

Great tool for visual, diagramming and collaboration

  • September 18, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
1. Easy to use and collaborate with the team. You can get started in a few minutes, it's so seamless
2. The integrations options are one of the best tools and the number of apps available are pretty exhaustive
3. On the note of integration, the recording or presentation options are also helpful when trying to share outside org and wanting some old school methods of share or needing to save offline.
4. Although they have such great templates, using the app is so easy that I always start from scratch. It is also fun!
What do you dislike about the product?
Zoom in and zoom out features can be an issue, irrespective of board sizes and other options, specially for first time users.
The AI diagram generation tool is great when using the UML or ERD prompts but the color scheme will always be the same if not specified using conditional formatting or some other methods.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Data flow - that can show the tools and components of an E2E service to display - scalability, availability and security

Very impressive for a web-based diagramming tool

  • September 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It's very easy to create and edit diagrams, and especially to do so quickly with the pan and zoom mouse shortcuts. There are multiple options for exporting the diagrams as images to be included in slides, and the data import options for creating charts from input data are impressive.

In the majority of cases, I am able to use this instead of something like Visio and this is especially useful when collaboration is needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Attaching data to symbols is not as smooth as I would like, and I wasn't able to find a way to insert data values into the annotations (for example, displaying a data value in the text box of a symbol as with a variable).

The creation of custom shapes for re-use also has some glitches if you try to create one shape from multiple other shapes as a group, making it difficult to identify your shape visually from the picker.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It makes collaboration on a diagram very easy and provides sufficient complexity to use it for the vast majority of diagramming needs.

Driving collaboration and creativity with lucid

  • September 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
When i started designing new web experiences, our biggest challenge was keeping everything organized and collaborative. I would sketch ideas in one tool, share feedback in another and lose time stitching it all together. Lucid suite changed that completely. Now i can import design elements, drag and drop headers, text and graphics and build wireframes using a rich library of frameworks and template - all in one place. Outlining tools make structuring pages simple and creating low fidelity mockups that evolve into prototypes is effortless.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to dislike, just excited to keep using Lucid.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I start with mockup creations for quick concepts and evolve them into prototypes or final deliverables, keeping momentum high throughout the process. Exporting to the formats stakeholders need streamlines handoffs to executives, web and ops teams..
