Intuitive, Creative Mapping Software

What do you like best about the product?
The pre-made or suggested diagrams are really helpful and I liked how you can automatically export a screenshot into a google slide through that easy integration, that is really unique and something I haven't seen before. I think it is good to use for both simple and complicated tasks. I use it very frequently.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes when you are adding text to a box it can look quite blurry and hard to read.
It could also be quite helpful if you could lock an item in place like you can in canva
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have to create quite expansive mindmaps in my job and the whiteboard option is incredibly useful and easy to use as it is very vast and it's easy to add new steps into it without ruining everything else you have made. It makes my job easier and ensures efficiency

Powerful visual collaboration that simplifies complex ideas

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid provides an exceptionally user-friendly interface for creating flowcharts, architecture diagrams, and collaborative wireframes. The real-time collaboration features are both smooth and responsive, which makes it simple for distributed teams to brainstorm, design, and document processes together. I particularly value how Lucid integrates effortlessly with tools such as Google Drive, Slack, and Atlassian products, as this helps maintain consistent documentation across different platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although the tool performs very well in general, I have noticed that working with large and complex diagrams can sometimes be slow, particularly when several people are editing at the same time. Additionally, certain advanced features such as data linking and automation are only available in the more expensive plans, which may limit smaller teams who wish to take full advantage of everything the platform offers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has become indispensable for visually mapping infrastructure and system workflows within a collaborative setting. It addresses the challenge of bringing both technical and non-technical stakeholders onto the same page by offering a shared visual platform that is accessible to everyone. My team relies on it to document cloud architectures, outline user flows, and plan upcoming features. The visual clarity it provides enhances our discussions and documentation, which helps minimize misunderstandings, streamlines onboarding for new team members, and accelerates our decision-making process. Its browser-based nature and integration with tools like Google Drive and Confluence have also resolved the versioning issues that previously hindered our documentation workflow.

Intuitive and Flexible for Creative Collaborations

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like how easy the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is to use. The user interface offers a wide variety of shapes and flowchart options without the need for extensive searching, which makes it straightforward and efficient for creating diagrams. Having previously used Canva, I found Lucid's UI to be simpler to understand, particularly since I had never used Lucid before. It's very user-friendly and accessible, facilitating my ability to outline architecture diagrams and gain a structured, big-picture understanding of any system I'm implementing. I also appreciate its flexibility in designing and brainstorming, allowing me to move boxes and arrows with ease compared to the limitations of pen and paper. This ability to brainstorm and organize my ideas visually before piecing everything together is instrumental in my workflow. Additionally, I find the setup process to be very simple, which enhances my overall experience with the product.
What do you dislike about the product?
I've noticed that when I create a diagram using the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, it can look different each time, even when I'm using the flowchart template or other default templates. This inconsistency could be specific to my team, but it feels like the defaults or template settings aren't clearly defined or pre-chosen. As a result, starting from scratch might lead to different outcomes for different users. It would be helpful if there was a way to standardize or pre-select folder templates to ensure consistency (if it doesn't exist already).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to outline architecture diagrams, providing a structured view of implementations and facilitating easy brainstorming with its intuitive design tools.

I use Lucid quite frequently and have found it to be extremely helpful for organising my work and understanding the concepts my team is trying to communicate, thanks to its wide range of features and the different applications it can integrate with.
What do you dislike about the product?
When I first started using Lucid it took me a long time to get accustomed to the software do to the overwhelming amount of options and lack of support for new users.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has been helping with strategic planning of projects and miscommunication between teams, mainly when working in a hybrid setting

Lucid is my preferred workflow creation tool...

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how easy Lucid is to use for building my workflows. When I select shapes, the reminders about their meanings help me ensure my production workflow is accurate. The way decision points, documentation, and standard processes are visually represented makes my workflows clear and organized. I also like the different download options available. Overall, I find it simpler to use than the other MS alternative.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’m not a fan of the limitations in the free version, though I understand that’s just part of their business model and not an issue with the product itself. As Lucid has developed, some features that were once free have moved behind a paywall. Despite this, I still find Lucid much easier to use than any other workflow creation tool.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid enables me to design dynamic workflows that help my team clearly understand the processes and procedures involved in production. By using it, I can establish a consistent workflow for everyone to follow, which leads to more reliable results in our production. What I appreciate most is that I don't have to overthink when using Lucid—it guides me step by step throughout the process.

Perfect for Visualizing

  • October 06, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really appreciate how easy it is to organize both processes and personnel. Lucid offers all the essential tools needed to manage and visualize a wide range of items, making it straightforward to monitor daily operations, whether in the warehouse or the office. I find the platform simple and intuitive to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's a bit finicky being a web based tool. It can be choppy and laggy at times and feels a bit unoptimized, not sure if it's a Lucid issue or if my laptop was not strong enough to handle it but it froze on me a couple of times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's helping myself and my team visualize our day to day operations to make sure we don't miss smaller details and processes.
