Great visualization tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love that multiple people can collaborate on one board so everyone with access can see it in real-time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it would notify you if someone contributed something to the board while you were away so you knew to look for it. Right now it just has you refresh and tells you changes were made since you last accessed it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I just started using this with a company who has used it for long. It's super easy to get started - no lengthy training required. I was able to jump in and add comments without never having used it before. This platform worked perfectly when we weren't able to share internal documents on a OneDrive or Sharepoint that many of us could collaborate together on one project.
Easy to operate, quick to learn!
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid was incredibly easy to get up and running, with an intuitive interface that made it quick to learn. Building out process charts and workflows takes very little time, and the platform provides clean, professional visuals that make it easy to communicate complex ideas or workflows clearly. It’s been a great tool for mapping out processes and sharing them across teams for better understanding and collaboration.
What do you dislike about the product?
I’ve only created one chart so far, but I haven’t found anything I dislike about the platform yet.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid made it easy to clearly and visually communicate processes to the team.
One of the best tools out there for organising complex workflows
What do you like best about the product?
How you can start small by defining a core process in your workflow and then expand from that in their "infinite" canvas
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing much in particular, sometimes would be nice if you could have certain functionalities that organise and clean-up your flows in a way that is coherent and makes sense to avoid having to "make it nice" manually
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A place where i can organise and map out all my workflows, process or basically any idea that i have in mind that requires some organisation.
Super helpful for middle users who need visuals
What do you like best about the product?
the premade professional templates are super helpful to save a ton of time when creating presentations, and even guiding thought processes around getting through a flow that may have branching paths versus getting stuck on one path. Easy to use, drag and drop, easy to share, more visual than most sandbox tools like OS offerings.
What do you dislike about the product?
its probably a gap in my understanding of how to use but the ability to "flatten" or "group" shapes. Ex using the tool to map web flows it would be nice if once grouped you had to ungroup to modify or more importantly leave elements within the container. a "present" mode that makes the ctl+shift+click just click like powerpoint would also be nice

mapping out a process
Lucid - Game changer in Engineering Leadership
What do you like best about the product?
Elegant UI with customizable templates for flowcharts, org charts, and system diagrams.
Real-time collaboration that mirrors the best of whiteboarding and structured planning.
Real-time collaboration that mirrors the best of whiteboarding and structured planning.
What do you dislike about the product?
Advanced features like conditional formatting and data linking could be more intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Version history and commenting features that support asynchronous feedback loops
Uhmm so its kind of smooth really i think it is much better than draw.io or any other platform
What do you like best about the product?
The versatility is impressive—I can rearrange the blocks however I like just by clicking on one, and the arrow moves are really great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Honestly, I wish the free mode allowed me to use more blocks. It would have made the experience much better.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Design an industrial scale photobioreactor
Pretty functional and easy to use
What do you like best about the product?
I love that both myself and my colleague can make changes on the fly and with ease too. Lucid is rather easy to grasp and works for what we need it for. To do the work we want to get done, having an easy of implementation is key, and Lucid offers this with several features that are self explanatory.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't come across anything I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A lot of the programs I use do offer collaboration options, but they're often rooted in text-based formats. Lucid provides a great deal of visual flexibility that most other tools do not. This helps when we have references we want to consider.
Easy, Fast and Powerful Diagramming Platform
What do you like best about the product?
What I really like about Lucid is how easy it makes visualizing complex ideas. I use it regularly for process mapping and solution architecture discussions and it’s incredibly intuitive. For example, during one of our recent integration projects, we used Lucidchart to map the data flow between multiple systems, it helped our team quickly identify dependencies and streamline communication between developers and analysts.
The real-time collaboration is a big advantage. Multiple team members can jump into the same document, make edits and leave comments without confusion. The built-in templates and shape libraries also save a lot of time, especially when building standard architecture or workflow diagrams. Plus, being able to share diagrams directly via Confluence or Teams keeps everyone aligned without sending multiple versions around.
Overall, Lucid has become our go-to tool for anything that needs to be explained visually from quick brainstorming sessions to detailed solution design.

What do you dislike about the product?
working on larger architecture or workflow diagrams with many connected elements, I’ve noticed some lag or slow response times, especially when multiple team members are editing the same document in real time.
Another minor challenge is that certain advanced features like data linking, conditional formatting and enterprise templates are only available in higher-tier licenses, which can limit flexibility for smaller teams or short-term projects. It would also be helpful to have some level of offline editing or local caching, since the platform relies entirely on cloud connectivity.
That said, these are relatively small points compared to the overall value it brings the platform is still one of the most user-friendly and collaboration-friendly tools I’ve used.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid has helped us a lot in visualizing complex processes and system architectures in a way that everyone — from technical to non-technical stakeholders — can easily understand. Earlier, we relied on static PowerPoint diagrams or Visio files, which made version control and collaboration difficult. With Lucid, our team can co-create diagrams in real time, leave comments, and iterate quickly during discussions or workshops.
It’s been especially useful for process mapping, data flow visualization, and solution architecture reviews across distributed teams. The ability to integrate Lucid diagrams directly into Confluence and Teams has also streamlined communication and reduced duplication of effort. Overall, it has improved clarity, speed of decision-making, and collaboration across our projects.

Professional way to create those flowcharts
What do you like best about the product?
It provides powerful diagramming tools and the drag-and-drop functionality makes network diagram easier to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think for users that have never used the tool before, it can take some time to produce high quality diagrams.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Very useful to draw network diagrams to explain the flow of data and connectivity of applications.
On Purpose

Easy to understand and visually strong user interface.
What do you dislike about the product?
It doesn't appeared on google search directly. One of my colleague suggested it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used it to created a decision tree for my team. I printed out and now they are using it on their desk.
