Great Mapping Tools, but Shape Adjustment Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
Being able to use different shapes to streamline the mapping process. The AI clean up tool has also been useful
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes its difficult to move shapes and make it symmetrical.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Thinking of ways to map classwork and the content and objectives related to different assignments.
Seamless Strategic Planning from Ideation to Execution for clarity, alignment using Lucid Suite
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid suite is a full fledged platform that supports the entire lifecycle of strategic planning and execution. From brainstorming in lucidspark to process mapping in lucidchart, it enables seamless transitions between ideation and implementation. Lucidspark's frameworks for SWOT analysis, prioritization grids and customer journey mapping make it easier to structure strategic discussions. It is especially useful during quarterly planning and evaluating new market opportunities. It's permissioning, templates and integrations make it scalable without losing usability.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dont have any major dislikes about lucid suite. Genuinely i feel that it continues to evolve in ways that make it even more useful for strategic work.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allows me to build clear, data linked diagrams that help the management team understand dependencies, risks and opportunities. It helps me visualize roadmaps, OKRs and initiative progress in a way that is easy to digest. this improves transparency and accountability. It accelerates planning by enabling dynamic workshops, voting and prioritization exercises. what used to take days for me in meetings now happens in hours on a shared board. Lucid helps me move from strategy on paper to strategy in action with stronger buy in.

What do you like best about the product?
The Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite stands out as a powerful platform that helps teams ideate, plan, and execute with clarity and speed. Its core strength lies in enabling real-time collaboration through tools like Lucidchart, Lucidspark, and Lucidscale, which allow users to create dynamic diagrams, brainstorm ideas, and visualise cloud environments effortlessly. With features such as intelligent automation, data linking, and integration with platforms like Jira and Google Sheets, Lucid empowers teams to streamline workflows, reduce duplication, and make faster, more informed decisions. This suite is especially beneficial for Agile teams, remote collaboration, and cross-functional planning, making it a valuable asset for accelerating innovation and improving team alignment.

Takes time to learn – It can feel overwhelming for new users due to its many features.
Performance issues – Large or complex diagrams may cause lag or be tricky to align properly.
No offline access – Since it’s web-based, you need a stable internet connection to use it.
No desktop app – Some users prefer a local application for better speed and convenience.
Hard to search diagram content – Text inside diagrams isn’t searchable, so finding specific info can be time-consuming.

Lucid makes it really easy for me to explain complex ideas to different teams. Instead of going back and forth on calls or emails, I just create a diagram and share it. Everyone gets clarity quickly, and we’re able to plan and move forward without confusion. It saves time and helps us stay aligned.
Easy BPML Design, but Task Details Are Limited
What do you like best about the product?
Its very simple to use, actually in 5-10 minutes you can design a BPML flow.
What do you dislike about the product?
The information on tasks is limited. I want to use Lucid for BPML process and processes need s to be explained in more detail way . For example which system will be handling this task or what will be the detail definition on the task. We cannot enter these detail information on tasks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We can show our processes to our colleagues or customers in a visual platform. Its always better to explain in chart rather then explain in wording.
Lucid: Beautiful, User-Friendly Platform for Visual Aids and Planning
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid provides one of the most beautiful and self explanatory platforms that I have seen for creating such a wide range of visual aids, brainstorming templates, and systems/planning assistance. I love how easy it is to use and find the type of template that I am looking for. It makes even something as simple as an org chart look amazingly professional!
What do you dislike about the product?
There are so many things that I like about Lucid - I really don't have any negatives.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid helps me and my team figure out the best ways of improving workflows and visualizing all of the steps in our product pipeline. I think it's especially good at creating flow charts/decision maps if key steps in a product pipeline don't work out, solutions can be found and everyone can see what is needed to be done to get the product back on track in the flow chart. It also really helps for brain dumping and getting teams organized. This benefits me because it makes my team more efficient when they are aligned!
Smooth and Simple Tool for Team Collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
I like how easy it is to share and organize ideas with my team. Lucid makes teamwork smooth and helps everyone stay on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it takes a bit longer to load large projects, and a few features can feel tricky to find at first. for example, when I opened a detailed flowchart with many connected elements, it took a few extra seconds to load, and I had to search around to find the feature to group multiple shapes at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helps my team work together in one place, share ideas clearly, and avoid confusion. This saves time and keeps our projects organized and easy to follow.
Great Automatic Connectors, But Linking Objects Needs Improvement
What do you like best about the product?
I like how it automatically runs connectors on workflow diagrams
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I miss about Miro boards is their ability to link objects in their boards through unique object links. I know that Lucid does this too, but it is wonky and looks like crap.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A common place for us to share ideas and artifacts. A secondary purpose would be to present ideas. We are being suitably suited!
Lucid Makes Workflow Visualization Easy
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid generates the cleanest workflow visuals of any tool I've tried. Its AI functionality make this easier than ever to bring to life as well. Our team is able to align on clean process using Lucid better than ever in the AI age
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be more of a hit on flowcharts, but updating fine details can be finicky and tedious sometimes. But getting the first 90% of your work visualized is super easy
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Articulating complex and multi-stepped processes for our support staff into clean step-by-step guides. Lucid helps hold new hires' hands as they take on new challenges and ramp into our organization. We also use Lucid to map customer journeys so we understand what customers experience working with our services
Easy Visio Import to Lucid App
What do you like best about the product?
I was able to import my Visio to the Lucid app online very easily; plus it's online so i can access it from anywhere, not just my main computer.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times where I might be moving a line and it moves the text/line label instead of moving the line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have used Visio for the longest time and now that Microsoft has Visio in the browser, it's easier as a whole but my company uses Lucid so I imported my Visio to it and it didn't take me long to get to figure where different things were, regarding bringing to the front/back, etc.
Because its through Lucid, I don't have to keep logging back in to the browser when i want to go work on it, like I do with Microsoft.
I have not tried sharing with team members so I can't comment on that.

Perfect for Automated Org Charts—Exactly What I Needed
What do you like best about the product?
The fact that I can create an automated company org chart which is exactly what I was looking for
What do you dislike about the product?
So far nothing, I have nothing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I initially created a company org chart via Canva but found that it is not very functional/practical. In my search for a better solution, Lucid was highly recommended for it's functionality and ease of use. Love that I can make the org chart automated as we frequently have employees that change roles/manager so this feature will help to keep it current
