Makes Database Design Easier for Learning

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I have found the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to be incredibly helpful in making database creation conceptually easier for my university assignments. I really appreciate its intuitive features like the ability to effortlessly connect arrows and form square boxes, which can then be easily copied, pasted, and customized with additional shapes and attributes. This makes it a breeze to lay out different types of data visually. The setup was quite straightforward, although having an initial introduction by my teacher helped simplify the process. I particularly like how the tool allows for seamless manipulation of graphical elements, providing a great hands-on experience for designing databases, which is especially useful in my studies.
What do you dislike about the product?
I feel that setting up the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite would have been difficult without help. Additionally, I wish there were more free projects available.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find it makes creating databases conceptually easier, particularly with features like connecting arrows, customizable shapes, and easy copying and pasting, enhancing my database design tasks.

Effortless Diagram Creation, But Template Naming Needs Improvement

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
It allows me to create an Event Relationship Diagram far easier than many other platforms I have used in the past. Less stressful overall.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some templates are misleading and I feel have incorrect naming conventions.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It soothes my stress of creating my diagrams. Before finding this program, I would try to jumble an "ugly mess" together and call it a diagram.

Easy to use tool for System Design interviews

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I've used this tool for a system design interview and I was quite pleased with it.

It was very easy to pick up and I had everything I needed to express my design to the interviewer.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was a bit difficult to be able to connect the microservices using arrows to show the communication. It wasn't as intuitive as I hoped and I had to be a bit creative but eventually managed to properly show the relationship.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
System Design interviews

From Messy Ideas to Clean Diagrams

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really like that it’s actually two tools in one that work together perfectly. You get Lucidspark, which is like a giant digital whiteboard for brainstorming and just getting all your messy ideas out. Then, you have Lucidchart, which is amazing for taking those ideas and turning them into clean, professional-looking flowcharts, org charts, or system diagrams. It's super easy to use, and the real-time collaboration is great—you can literally see your teammate's mouse moving on the screen.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free version is really limited; you hit a wall pretty fast and it basically forces you to upgrade. The paid plans can feel a bit expensive, especially if you're just a single user or a small team not using it every single day. Also, it can sometimes be a little annoying to have to jump back and forth between the two different apps (Spark and Chart) instead of just having all the tools in one place.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
When you're in a meeting (especially a remote one) and ideas are flying around, it gets chaotic. Lucidspark gives you a digital whiteboard where everyone can dump their ideas, sticky notes, and drawings in one place instead of a jumbled email thread or messy document.

What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Unified Visual Collaboration, but Large Boards Can Lag

  • October 20, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love that Lucid VCS brings the whole delivery journey onto one visual canvas. Lucidspark is brilliant for fast, messy ideation (sticky notes, voting, timers), then you can mature that thinking in Lucidchart into clear process maps, system/architecture diagrams, and RACI/flows—without losing context or stakeholders. With Lucidscale, being able to auto-visualise cloud environments (AWS/Azure/GCP) from real data makes architecture reviews and risk spotting much faster.
What do you dislike about the product?
Large boards can get sluggish, especially with many images/widgets.

Permissions/guest access feel fiddly—easy to over/under-share.

Version sprawl (many copies of the same board) without strict naming rules.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the “alignment gap” from idea → build → operate. It gives us one visual source of truth—so product, engineering, and stakeholders see the same plan, process, and architecture.

Seamless Team Collaboration, Minor Slowdowns On Large Boards

  • October 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is how seamlessly it brings teams together to brainstorm, plan, and visualize ideas in real time. The platform’s intuitive interface and flexible templates make it easy to map out strategies, workflows, and campaign structures - whether I’m working internally with my team or collaborating directly with clients. I especially appreciate the live collaboration and commenting tools, which help streamline feedback and keep everyone aligned on goals without endless email threads or slide revisions.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is that larger, more complex boards can sometimes become cluttered or slow to load, especially when multiple collaborators are active at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As an account manager, Lucid’s Visual Collaboration Suite helps solve the challenge of keeping teams and clients aligned throughout complex projects. Its powerful diagramming capabilities make it easy to visualize processes, campaign structures, and client workflows in a clear, interactive way. This visual clarity eliminates confusion that often arises from scattered documents or lengthy email threads. The shared visual workspace also enables real-time and asynchronous collaboration, helping teams gather feedback, streamline approvals, and stay aligned. Overall, it improves communication, productivity, and client satisfaction by turning complex ideas into easy-to-understand visuals that drive faster decisions.

Collaboration without the headaches

  • October 17, 2025

What do you like best about the product?
What i like about lucid is how it just makes everything clear at a glance. As an automation engineer, I deal with complicated workflows and systems all the time and being able to map them out visually save a ton of headaches. I can quickly sketch out pipelines, see where things might break and share it with the team without writing any big explanations. The real time collaborations is awesome too, getting feedback instantly instead of waiting for emails keeps projects moving. It cuts down on miscommunication and keeps everyone aligned.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really dont have any negatives to mention. lucid has made organizing workflows and collaborating with the team straightforward and hassle free.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid solves the problem of making complex workflows and systems easy to understand and communicate. In automation, processes often span multiple tools, teams and decision points which can get messy and hard to track. lucid let me map everything visually, identify potential bottlenecks and ensure nothing falls through the cracks. The benefits for me are huge. Essentially, it turns complicated processes into clear and actionable visuals. It helps me to keep everyone in my team on the same page and makes even tricky processes feel manageable.
