Using Lucid to Create Workflow for Project

  • November 19, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Although my time of using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite was brief, I thought that it was an incredibly helpful tool in creating a simple workflow for a team project for one of my classes. I thought that the UI was great especially when I was creating my flowchart. There was a large variety of shapes and ways to design my workflow and I really liked the freedom that came from using the website. Also, one small thing that really helped when creating my flowchart was how the arrows would automatically point to the middle of shape. Especially since building my workflow diagram required using a lot of arrows and shapes, having the arrows automatically point to the middle when dragged made building a lot more efficient and smooth
What do you dislike about the product?
During my time using the website, I didn’t encounter any significant downsides, although my experience was relatively short. If I were to nitpick about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, then I’d say my biggest critique is that I wished the free version gave us a few more objects to use per document. I know that with the free version I’m only limited to 60 objects, but this limitation kind of messed up my flow chart since I had to get rid of some important aspects in the end to fully complete it. This is less of a critique against the website and more of me just wanting to get a little bit more out of the free trial.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I like that Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite is solving a relative niche but prevailing problem of streamlining creating diagrams and flowcharts. I could’ve created my workflow diagram on Microsoft or Google apps, but I just liked how simple and effective using Lucid was after messing around with it. It benefits me as a student because I know that in the future when I would have to make another flow chart or workflow diagram, I know what website to go to reliably create it.

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite for its interactive features, which significantly enhance my experience by saving my time compared to manually creating diagrams in other software like Word. The Suite's clean user interface is another aspect I find highly attractive, as it makes navigation and usage seamless and straightforward. I value how user-friendly the initial setup is, ensuring that even those new to the platform can get started without any hassle. These features make the process of crafting essential elements like ER diagrams for databases effortlessly, supporting my work in developing e-commerce websites.
What do you dislike about the product?
I have encountered an issue with the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite concerning product recommendations. We are facing difficulties in recommending the correct products, which poses a challenge in our e-commerce website development process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I find Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite saves my time in creating ER diagrams for database design, preventing manual work in Word.

I appreciate the ability to collaborate on different projects using Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite, specifically the feature that allows me to see live what the other person is doing. This live view helps me coordinate tasks more effectively, as I can instantly understand what not to touch or what I need to work on based on the project's current progress. I also value the ease of the initial setup, which was very straightforward, allowing me to get started quickly without any hassle.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's hard to add my own library icons - wish it were easier and everyone knew how to.

Easy Visuals, Needs Precision Improvement

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I use the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to quickly create flowcharts and share them with my team, which everyone can understand. I love how it helps transform abstract ideas into visuals, bridging the communication gap and improving clarity among team members. It is easy to use and share, which enhances collaboration and efficiency. I particularly value the templates and auto object creation features within Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite. These features streamline the process of setting up new visual documents and enhance the functionality of the tool, enabling me to focus on the content rather than the setup process.
What do you dislike about the product?
I am frustrated with the dragging of objects in the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite because it lacks precision. Specifically, the snap to grid function does not work as accurately as I need, which complicates aligning and organizing my visuals efficiently. This imprecision hinders the seamless creation of flowcharts and can disrupt the overall design flow.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to quickly create flowcharts and transform abstract ideas into visuals, which improve team understanding. It's easy to use and shareable, with templates and auto object creations, streamlining our workflow.

Intuitive Delay Analysis Templates, But Some Template Quirks

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Love that it has delay analysis templates! It is incredibly difficult to find a public program that supports this kind of visualization, and Lucid does it very clearly. Suite was easy to use, didn't require a lot of time/effort to learn, and the tools were intuitive.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the elements of the table/graph templates seem buggy, but they just require you to interact with them in a very specific way. It was hard to catch on at first, and took me revisiting the project to finally understand how it wanted me to edit & move things.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It has a wide variety of diagramming templates you can't find anywhere else. The delay analysis diagram provides visualized data, which is much easier for my coworkers to digest in a presentation than just reading a list of timelines. It also helped them understand the gravity of the situation - when you can see those delays in a physical form, it has a much larger impact on the audience. Without Suite, I would have had to settle for a text-heavy presentation that was less impactful and didn't actual show what I wanted to show. Our leadership team also uses it to design our org charts, which have also been consistently clear & helpful!

Intuitive Visualization, Minor Glitches

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love the Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite's visualization tools as they make it very easy to quickly create documents to share, effectively highlighting inefficiencies or dependencies in workflows that create bottlenecks. The suite facilitates explaining complex processes, which is particularly helpful when managing and optimizing complex workflows with many inputs and outputs. Additionally, the initial setup was very easy, and I liked the tutorial provided.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find it can be glitchy when I'm trying to change the shape of an item or the direction or style of a line.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to create workflow charts, identify inefficiencies, and explain complex processes, enhancing workflow optimization and communication.

Enhances Remote Collaboration but Needs UI Improvements

  • November 17, 2025
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I really value how Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite facilitates interactive engagement among my remote team during planning and regular team ceremonies. It’s incredibly effective for collaboration, especially since we’re all virtual. The tools available make it exceedingly simple to visualize ideas effortlessly, which is a huge advantage. I frequently use the post-it notes, voting, and timer functions, which are standout features for us. During retrospectives, post-it notes allow each team member to jot down discussion points, and the timer function helps us timebox these exercises effectively, ensuring we cover everything we need. The voting feature is also invaluable for selecting which topics or post-it notes we should prioritize. Overall, these features contribute to keeping our conversations dynamic and structured.
What do you dislike about the product?
I think the UI itself can feel a bit 'rigid' and could be made more user-friendly. I also feel like it is lacking a bit in terms of diagramming features available. I would also love to see some AI features as well as additional integrations with other DevOps platforms (apart from JIRA).
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite to facilitate remote collaboration, enabling my team to visualize ideas, engage interactively, and streamline retrospectives with tools like post-it notes, voting, and timers, enhancing our meetings' efficiency.
