What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Virtual collaboration that would otherwise be done in person
Featureful, but first impressions appear to be clunky
What do you like best about the product?
As I have used web sequencingdiagrams & draw.io, its good to see several of the features are similar which greatly helps in moving away from a widely used tooling into Lucid diagramming tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
As we work on confluence a lot, the plugin of lucid/confluence seems to be pretty clunky with slow load times and often crashing (though any partial work are saved automatically).
Some bits of diagramming doesn't seem to be very intuitive and visually not there with draw.io (that may be because of a standard learning curve of the usage of this tool)
An auto completion feature for sequence diagrams (like eclipse/intellij ides) would be very useful

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Architecture rely heavily on diagramming and visual collaboration activities. So in that respect Lucid is well positioned to support us.
It is too early to say if using this tool has been better than what was being used before. However, based on the short videos and internet resources I have seen it does appear to have a lot of features (still to be explored and exploited to its full potential).

Easy to create, but a little clunky.
What do you like best about the product?
It's easy to add new pieces to your charts and color code them.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the features don't run smoothly. I find myself trying to do the same thing over and over again and it worked the first time and not the 2nd.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It helped me have a visual of my organization and how many holes I have within my org chart.

Switched to Lucid after using Visio for over 20 years.
What do you like best about the product?
Cloud-based and all that entails. Allows me to use Mac and PC and easily access diagrams regardless of client/browser. Still learning the tool but I think there are probably other good features. I also like the ability to mass update shapes and save shape templates.
What do you dislike about the product?
The sharing of diagrams is problematic as users believe they need to log- in and pay to view the diagram. This is highly problematic when sharing with larger client groups and stakeholders.
I also find the alignment (snap to grid, etc.) is not very good. Maybe my own unfamiliarity with the tool and have tried multiple settings, but still find it a bit "loose".

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was happy with Visio, except that it was PC-only and not cloud-based, so that is the primary benefit of Lucid chart. I also use Lucid spark for whiteboarding virtually while facilitating workshops.
A smooth transition to lucidspark from Miro

What do you dislike about the product?
Not being able to make app wireframes as well as on Figma.

What do you dislike about the product?
The first time I have loggined in I had to accept license terms even though my company has already been provided full access to Lucidchart. It makes every user confused - personally I thought that my company hasn't purchased the license afterall.
Once I started to create the diagram I had to search through some options thorough - knowledge of similar programs such as drawio helped me to access the program, nevertheless for a new timer it is recommended to schedule a tutoring session.
Also I was unable to simply create an arch with piping - I found this feature after hours of usage.
When it comes to changing the size of a wall icon it is impossible to change it by typing down the size from keyboard access. The user has to drag the wall in order to make the desireable size. To me this kind of feature is unacceptable and time consuming.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I was able to create a simple diagram for my project needs in order to explain the scope for novice people, which makes my job easier (no need to explain the scope for hours, just picturing it).

Worth the learning curve
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart makes visualizing complex business processes a breeze. There is a learning curve, but once I was comfortable with the tools at my disposal, I found it quite intuitive and easy to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found a few of the automated options difficult to adjust to, but I did learn that many of these could be disabled (like automatically snapping lines to shapes, for example)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart has made identifying opportunities in customer purchasing paths much easier. Our company has never thought about the customer experience in this way, and Lucidchart made the process easy, seamless, and good-looking too.
