Easy to use, intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I use lucidchart on my mobile device. Is easy to use in both creation and viewing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Shapes Library could be better, as could connecting shapes on a touchscreen
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick relationship diagramming or simple architecture mapping sketches. Simple figures 4 reports or documents that are much more cumbersome using any Microsoft product.
Lucidchart is flexible, detailed, and has a great free version!
What do you like best about the product?
Variety of shapes and items you can add, flexibility in styling and connecting them. The standard shapes are default, but you can choose from a wide variety of well chosen shape presets based on the type of project you're working on. Even for complex charts with lots of items, little lag or network issues when moving items or making changes. The free version is great for even complex charts that 50+ shapes, but only allows a small number of charts. But if you do need to use it regularly, DEFINITELY worth the premium subscription!
What do you dislike about the product?
It can sometimes be hard to select the right item when you have several items stacked together. Zooming in and out can be cumbersome - the zoom steps are wider apart than I'd like.Otherwise, I have had no issues with the Lucidchart software as I've used it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating complex flow charts, organizational charts, workflow charts, value webs, and other diagrams. I've been able to more clearly illustrate complex website functions, large organizational systems, reporting chains with several "what if" cases, and more!
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Don't miss the individual shape options - arrow directions for lines, shape and text colors and patterns, rounded corners, etc. These can help your diagrams look more professional, but also make them clearer for your audience at a glance. Also, the layers option isn't always obvious, but is really helpful in locking one set of shapes so you don't move them by accident!

can't save to a google drive folder... everything is saved within lucidcharts and is difficult to share with others

Being about to share diagrams is a great part of LucidChart. It's a great alternative to Visio.
What do you dislike about the product?
If you have the free version, you definitely need to keep your diagrams fairly simple, or else you'll run out of objects.

What do you like best about the product?
You can organize all your documents very easily and share documents with your colleagues. This looks very similar to Google Drive actually but making diagrams is now a hundred times easier with this ! There are a lot of interesting libraries to create the diagrams. Lucidchart's selection is very easy. I like the fact that you can import your own elements directly, which makes it again very easy/fast to use.
You can choose specific templates which are all sorted by categories as well to start doing your diagram, which makes it easier to reuse.

What do you dislike about the product?
To be honest, I spent some time before understanding how all of this works, maybe because of the UI itself, as this is not obvious where we have to click to find our files etc... Otherwise there are not so many things I dislike as this saves me lots of time. Instead of doing these on a paper this is cleaner and faster with LucidChart ! I stayed for some time with the free trial but it blocks me to use more elements: I can't use more than a specific number of it and can't use too much space in the file I opened either which is annoying, but fine.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating diagrams and having all the logic draw for everyone in my team to understand what is in my mind. I then send my diagrams and share the link to my colleagues, that's simple !

What do you like best about the product?
The diagrams have personalization possibilities to make them visually attractive, it is very easy to use since its editor is quite comfortable, it integrates very well with google docs favoring teamwork, also from the application itself you can share documents and assign permissions to team members to modify or see the diagrams, you can make many types of diagrams, but if you do not have a specific diagram you can import your own shapes and do it in the application, the diagrams can be exported in the most used formats such as pdf , jpg, png, vsx or cvs; You can also import diagrams made with other applications such as visio, omnigraffle, gliffy and draw.io
What do you dislike about the product?
If you are using a free account you can only use a maximum of 60 objects per document and you can only have 3 documents stored, plus the revision history is only available as a premium feature.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
it allows me to make diagrams of many types, mainly diagrams of entity relationship and diagrams uml without need of facilities or complicated records, since you can enter with your google account or with social networks like facebook or g +, also allows to share the work with my students and organize work teams for the diagrams of the software development methodologies that we use.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you need to make many diagrams and that these have more than 60 objects it is convenient to subscribe at least to the basic plan since the price is relatively low.

We've used it for making internal flow carts. It helps to see all processes required for a given task.
Excellent useful application that includes tools for the realization of diagrams and templates.
What do you like best about the product?
Good application very useful good user experience Easy to learn. It includes good collaboration tools. It works with many other applications. It is based on the cloud, which makes it very useful and portable. and it is safe since the work already done will not be lost. It reduces the time of work and allows to edit templates totally according to the need. It is online which allows editing in real time. The graphic elements available for UML and mental maps in general are simply perfect for a software development environment. I like the templates available for flowcharts and flowcharts.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really do not dislike anything, it seems to be very useful software, which is also easy to use. The best part is that it was free. It gives the opportunity to keep the work very organized. Every day I have to talk to several clients and keep track of what they want, change the orders I already have, and so on, and I can do it in a few seconds thanks to my Lucid Chart software. The administration of loaded user images is slow and little useful, you need a better interface so that all the files work as personalized images. I do not like that most of the features are "premium".

Decrease working time provides information and guidance on how to make the various diagrams which is very useful for the organization of work.

I recommend that you use Lucidchart is a very useful application for making diagrams with predesigned templates that reduce working time.
