Diagram to organize your projects
What do you like best about the product?
The way to plan with this application is totally different, ingenious, the organization of the projects is much more visual, you clearly determine the responsibilities of each one and at what moment they must intervene during the execution of the project, an online alternative that contains a large amount of elements and ways to make your diagrams, you can also do collaborative work and it integrates well with other common applications such as Word and Excel.
What do you dislike about the product?
They could add the function of working offline, so as not to depend so much on internet connectivity
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Given that during last year we had many training projects and online presence in different cities of the country, we had to organize all our activities in a great workflow that helped us to visualize all important aspects step by step and those responsible for each of those responsible, that facilitated the dynamics of organization and implementation of training courses and saved us time, unnecessary travel of staff and money.
Great Visualizations, Easy to Use
What do you like best about the product?
Very easy to pick up and immediately start creating useful, aesthetically pleasing diagrams. I am just starting to learn more of its advanced capabilities, such as hooking up to live data feeds. Incredibly useful from a operations analytics perspective
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing immediately at the moment. It would be helpful to have API connections to other data sources outside of gsheets/excel for live data feeds
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Allows for great visualization of process flows. It can be used to give a real-time analysis of process flows in your organizations funnel
Maps, Chart, Graphics and more
What do you like best about the product?
I love the flexibility of the platform and the connectivity. Be able to share charts with other members of my team is a huge deal.
What do you dislike about the product?
Learning Curve. Although the support documents are great, it is difficult to learn if you've never used a similar platform before.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Being able to create flowcharts, timelines, mind maps, and graphics is a great way to share information with my team. It has also made creating charts for clients easier as I can produce them during a Zoom meeting and share them with the client directly.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's a much easier platform to use and integrate than Visio and it costs a lot less.
easy flowchart diagrams in the cloud.
What do you like best about the product?
I like this application that I can create all kinds of diagrams with different structures and designs where I can express my ideas clearly, which allows me to create plans and maps of great scope and with high acceptability, the creation of this type of diagrams is made of a simple way, if you already have knowledge in basic applications of the same purpose as Visio, what I like about this tool, is the graphics it has, since they are more adaptable, and in the final diagram, graphically they look better oriented, so I can create diagrams for all kinds of projects.
What do you dislike about the product?
When creating complex diagrams that have a considerable amount of elements, the manipulation can become somewhat complex, since the software can become a bit slower, when the projects are of great proportions, possibly, the graphical engine falls short, when so many graphics and images are placed in the same plane, otherwise the software complies with what it promises, and the creation of a diagram and map, is quite good
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The planning of autumn types of projects can be created in diagrams, and maps, of different characteristics, where together with elements that are inserted in it, helps to have a better reasoning about the projects and tasks to be carried out, since they are scheming, detailed plans of the activities to be carried out.
The best I've found for architecture diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Generally-speaking, the snapping is good and the smart re-sizing of objects is great. I've also found the autosave to be almost bulletproof. At times, I've thought that I've almost certainly lost work and it's always there waiting for me.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the snapping can be a bit frustrating. I would also like to be able to tweak the size of arrowheads more specifically.

Import your own shape objects to make your diagrams more tailored to your company's brand.
Great for conceptual maps
What do you like best about the product?
This website allows our research team to conceptualize findings in a visual way. It is a great way to gain insight into how our main themes relate to each other, and makes it easier for us to see the implications of our work.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart stops working when we use a bigger screen to see the maps that we have created. It just freezes and then I have to re-start it. Sometimes that leads to work being lost, so it's not the best.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are using Lucidchart to conceptualize research findings.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is a great tool for qualitative researchers.
Pretty good, at least free version
What do you like best about the product?
It was free, quick to learn in a pinch, user-friendly and FREE.
What do you dislike about the product?
Took a few times to learn, but mostly very easy to pick up.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I did not have Visio installed by my IT dept, and needed a flow chart diagram. This worked in a pinch.
Great Diagramming Tool for Process Flows and Sitemaps with Features that Streamline the Process
What do you like best about the product?
I create a lot of process flows and sitemaps. I really like the ability to quickly create my diagrams on the page within the diagram without having to continually go back to a tools panel to select something. Lucidchart makes it eas to quickly type out a sitemap structure in text and build it automatically with connected symbols. Creating process flows allows you to drag from a shape to the next shape with a contextual shape picker in the diagram. No dragging and dropping from a sidebar and connecting lines between shapes, Lucidchart does that automatically and intuitively for you.
What do you dislike about the product?
I create fairly involved sitemaps and love the sitemaps tools which let you type your hierarchy into the diagram in a popup and see that hierarchy anytime you click on a shape. However, the popup is small, and when I click on a shape in my wireframe, the popup doesn't jump to and highlight the item I've selected in the hierarchy. This makes it challenging to find the item I'm trying to work with in the popup hierarchy.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I create complex process flows with multiple decision trees for healthcare insurance products as well as web application sitemaps. Lucid chart provides great contextual tools that allow me to work quickly without continually jumping to other tool panels. Lucidchart also lets you automatically layout your diagram, so adding new items, like a new page deep in a sitemap will redistribute the icons to make space on the page in a clean format.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Like other SAS products, you have to be aware of the pricing models and what permissions you have to share your work with others so they can edit it too.
Best Tool for Flow Charts
What do you like best about the product?
I love this product because it’s easily available online and makes it easy for below purpose. With my need for flowchart, wired framing - That’s biggest part of my organization. With colleagues working in different time zone- We can easily work against each other version effectively. This tool is also pleasing for UML and sequence diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing can be attributed as dislike feature because it’s simple and efficient.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flowchart , Process Diagram, UML
Wonderful tool for user flow creation in a straight forward easy to learn manner.
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I am able to create boxes and arrows, while inputting text to map out processes, as well as integrate my notes on the subject. You can personalize your LucidCharts with colors and shapes. It also just makes complex things easier to understand for all stakeholders.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that sometimes it is hard to drag items or move arrows without them moving drastically. Sometimes lines cross and it is also hard to keep shapes consistent. The templates are sometimes helpful, but they can also be hard to work with unique projects that require customization and personalization. It is also quite expensive per month.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am solving the business problem of mapping out my user stories and task scenarios for usability testing. I am able to see how users flow from one action to the next, as well as communicate this to the stakeholders I am interacting with, so that they can better understand the process. You have to have UX flowchart, so that you can compare successful completion of tasks with unsuccessful attempts at tasks. It also helps me to better see how information should be grouped or organized, and is much faster than using post-it-notes.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend that others considering Lucidchart use it if they do not have a design background or not familiar with more advanced programs. This was simple and to the point with very little learning curve. I appreciate not having to spend a lot of time training myself, and instead making a decent product for work. I also think people should consider Lucidchart if they have a team setting, where they need to work on projects together and interact to change diagrams.
