Best solution for Software Engineering
What do you like best about the product?
I have been doing various works related to software engineering for the University of Girona, and I can say that this product is very modulated and adapted for all of the diagrams that I needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes the web application or de mobile application freeze and I have to close and reopen the diagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All related with my Computer engineer works.

The templates and shape libraries get you started quickly; you can jump in an diagram anything even right in the middle of a meeting.
The quick ability to link items together and how it prompts for the next flowchart items - awesome. The UI wireframing is powerful. Basically to me it is the perfect compromise between something that is a powerful diagramming tool AND a great wireframe/mockup tool

What do you dislike about the product?
Minor things I dislike is the inability to hide the "Related Items" marketing box in the main view since I love using folders so much. Also some of the default styles are a little too rounded for my liking. I'm sure I could dig a little deeper into that.
It would be nice if it kept my default setting for not using the Line connections when I'm working on UI wireframes and mockups.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use this for wireframes, mockups, sometimes I'm doing hacked together graphic designs or graphics mocks. I'll use it for flow charts of course.
The main benefit is speed.

Recommendations to others considering the product:
Dig into the templates you'll see so many great examples already pre built in there to really give you an idea of what capabilities it has. You may find the data linking a little intimidating but just for straight up quick diagrams this is awesome. And learn your keyboard shortcuts! My favorite is actually holding down space bar to drag the canvas around with my mouse.

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of creating a work flow process presentation is unbelievable. I was able to break down my day to day workflow in a digestible visualization with the ability to implement color schemes and alternative work flow paths extremely easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there was a more presentation based portion of lucid chart, being able to create an entire presentation in one place instead of just using it for the visualization aspect would make it even more useful.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are able to create digestible SOP's across multiple departments in our organization that allows members outside of that organization to gather insight into certain areas that they may not interact with on a daily basis

What do you like best about the product?
The thing that lucidchart does best is allowing the creation of visually appealing charts of any kind (and more) in an intuitive way. In addition, it is also easy to cooperate with other people by sharing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Data importing, especially images, can be improved to make it easier to integrate these kind of custom files into a chart or diagram.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is hands off the most intuitive way to design appealing charts & diagrams! It has benefitted us in terms of translating an idea into a visual file in less time than before. Also, cooperating with others is a super helpful feature, especially when lots of people are involved.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you can afford to pay the (small) fee per user, the I totally advise the software as it makes work faster and more appealing in a visual way. For its cooperation feature is advised to complex organizations.

The best thing that i like from lucidchart is the simple user interface that it have.

I dislike from lucidchart some mechanics when you try to draw lines

What do you like best about the product?
Using LucidChart really helped us shape a workable workflow for our three separate job pipelines.
What do you dislike about the product?
We just use the free version, so the functionality could be better. I would like more options to utilize in the free one, but I understand why you couldn't.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem we solved with Lucidchart was being able to accurately visualize our processes for each different job type. Using this software we're able to see who does what and when and it's helped a ton.
Diagramming friendly platform
What do you like best about the product?
I'm a Management Consultant and I was tired to use Powerpoint and Vizio to create flowcharts and diagrams. I discovered LucidChart after attending to a training, it looks so easy to use, simple UX and bundle with intuitive features. Also, the fact to be a Web App makes simpler to share files and work collaborative. Few clicks allow to set up a new file using tons of templates for almost any use, and you can customize and adapt, saving a lot of time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found some issues with shared files, for example, after deleting some share files from a former customers, file still appears into my folder. I couldn't delete it. Also, create different permissions to access to selective file or folders isn't completed resolved at UX level, it should be more clear. Store space is small for free tier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming flowcharts, processes and charts using one solution was my main goal, I found the solutions in Lucidchart. I opened a collaborative environment with colleagues, even when I was traveling was a major improvements. The fact to be in the cloud save me a lot of time instead of looking my emails for last versions of each file. Overall, I think Lucidchart makes me more productive and present a more professional way to work with clients and colleagues.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Notifications to upgrade plan are constant. The cloud space in the free plan is small and you realized soon that's not enough to manage multiple project. Be clear about users will need the Web App and evaluate the subscription in a long-term basis.
Good, basic DIY tool to build charts/plan
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is fairly easy to learn and can help you build a clean chart.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's lacking in smarter features though that could help to better organize your chart/planning. The templates couldn't really handle more complex situations, and I had hoped the software might be able to see ways to improve the organization that I couldn't and/or have features/suggestions to handle this. It's very DIY.

LucidChart was very helpful alternative for Microsoft Visio on Mac

I was able to keep my design on cloud and share with others. Was able to work with others and build it out fully

I want to be able to download as a visio file since so many people still use Visio so it gets harder to make them collaborate with us.
