I find it very practical for brainstorming exercises.
What do you like best about the product?
the practicality for collaborating, the templates used for the exercises

that it does not have tabs to do more than one exercise, that it is managed as a separate license from Lucidchart

What do you like best about the product?
I like that LucidChart has a wide variety of shapes and templates to start drawing process flows. There is no other competitor that offers the same degree of customization. I also like that sharing is easy, and I can get a shareable URL for view-only or edit privileges, with the added security of limiting to a certain professional group. I like that, once you get the hang of the features, it's fairly easy to connect shapes with various lines and arrows. There's a good number of straightforward yet customizable connectors, which are some of the most important features for my team as we devise simultaneous process flows. I also like that changes are automatically saved so I can work without worrying about manually saving. The export feature and the multitude of file types for export is incredibly handy, too.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that the learning curve is pretty steep. While the various features, shapes, and connectors are nice once you've figured out the basics, there's an overwhelming number of options that may be difficult to navigate for a novice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's so much easier to share team-wide process charts with LucidChart's link sharing as well as the ability to add users to an entire folder. LucidChart is also much easier to use than Visio, from my experience, because the browser application offers full functionality, whereas Visio's browser app, which is the only version available for macOS, has incredibly limited and functional design. LucidChart has also made it so much easier to draw complex, multi-swimlane diagrams because of how easy it is to zoom in and out and track more than one component at a time. There are handy defaults and templates to start from, too.

The drag and drop functionality, as well as the infinite page size are great.
What do you dislike about the product?
The "snap" function of arrows between objects could be better.

Having multiple flowcharts on a really big canvas.

Great white board and cloud solution. I used to use Visio, yet Visio is expensive.

Lucid Spark is an ideal tool to easily notate idea gathering workshops.

The inability to rotate symbols. Rotating symbols is a useful feature to assign a visual meaning to an object.

Great tool for team brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
Really easy to use. It's a creative way to share ideas and brainstorm as a team! It is also a great way to work collaboratively simultaneously. The tool also allows us to use fun colours and shapes to make the visual engaging and a bit more dynamic than traditional documents. It allowed us to structure our ideas in a creative way. I also love that we can download it as a PDF and share it easily.
What do you dislike about the product?
I guess it can be a bit "unpractical" to have to copy and paste the post its, or create the boxes, it doesn't feel 100% user friendly. There is some room for improvement regarding the user experience.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
This tool allowed me to have high level conversations with my executive team, figure out our strategic pillars as we are building our young startup and have everyone be involved in this process. Very inclusive and engaging! We also used Lucidspark to structure some product feedback and document future features we will work on. This document can be modified by anyone in the team making it inclusive and accessible.

I love this tool for remote collaboration and doing qualitative analysis.

There's nothing really I dislike about it so far :)

It allows brainstorming from every team member, including those who are a little bit more introverted. Everything is safe in the cloud and it is very intuitive.

I love how easy it is to get started with lucidspark. The UI is simple enough that I can just start working without much ramp up. The templates that exist are incredibly helpful also.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish there were more templates to choose from. The templates that are there are great but they're pretty limited and I use templates a lot to help me get started.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use lucidspark mostly for creating flowcharts and decision trees. I like to use it to show a user flow through one of my products. It's easy to do this and easy to share.
Very nice tool, especially for COVID times...
