Great in the classroom!
What do you like best about the product?
This is a great tool for classrooms. Students can give and receive real time feedback. You can do voting and add images.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could lock in certain settings as the creator. I had students adding in new features and messing with the dynamics of it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I haven't really had problems other than students messing with settings if you allow them to access and edit it. I do think it is a great way to interact with students and get their thoughts.
LucidSpark makes collaboration effective in the WFH/Remote environment
What do you like best about the product?
LucidSpark makes it easy to have a virtual whiteboard when collaborating via video conference. The interface allows everyone to post notes to the whiteboard, vote on topics, categorize and sort.
What do you dislike about the product?
I would love to see LucidSpark add a spellcheck feature, and sometimes the text auto-fit feature results in some funky-looking posted notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have used it for retrospective meetings and scoping out projects with business owners, documenting pain points, etc. Collaboration and documentation of complex business problems are highly effective, and we can save time as everyone can contribute ideas to the board at once.
So many uses and so intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
I find Lucidspark to be the most intuitive platform of its kind. The design always looks great, and the tools are easy to understand and quickly put to use.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it were cheaper! I'd love to upgrade from the free version, but my organization can't afford it alongside all the other tools for which we have to pay.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It's great for design work - I made a nifty flowchart on it recently that came out much better than others I've created in the past. I also use it for keeping track of projects with my group.
Better than I imagined
What do you like best about the product?
The flexibility and breadth of tools available at even the free account level are astonishing.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to say on this one. There was no component that I disliked.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We're using it for our team planning meetings. Traditionally we always do it as an offsite event; however, with Covid, we needed another solution. Being able to replicate the meeting virtually has been a lifesaver.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I haven't needed to use their customer support yet, which in and of itself is a good thing. But I assume they would be great, based on my other interactions with them.
LucidChart meets virtual whiteboard
What do you like best about the product?
It brings the LucidChart experience I'm used to into a simple whiteboarding platform for ideation with my team.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes I think I could do a lot of the same things with LucidSpark with LucidChart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming remotely
Director of Software Development
What do you like best about the product?
Simple method of sharing diagrams with members of the team
What do you dislike about the product?
Need to improve on file structure organization.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Software architecture diagrams
It makes it so much easier to collaborate at a distance.
What do you like best about the product?
Loving that I don't have to reference any more pictures of whiteboards or erase my work!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish it had more of the flow chart tools from LucidChart, history tracking on some elements, and that not all of my team has it yet. I also think a drawing feature needs an upgrade to make pictures and other components more seamlessly integrate into existing features. E.g. if I connect two boxes with a stylus, it should convert into an automated line rather than a drawn one. If I write a word, it would be great if it can be text or at least grouped together.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easier collaboration that I can return to again and again. I may never go back to a standard whiteboard because moving things around is so much easier. Also project management and visual communication
Recommendations to others considering the product:
With a very short learning curve, plenty of flexibility, and tons of collaborative features you may never want to use a traditional whiteboard again.
It's the Social-distanced-collaboration Super Star!
What do you like best about the product?
The ability to collaborate with my team in a way makes sense. Ideas can be organized, plans mapped out, and assignments made clear.
What do you dislike about the product?
As of right now, I don't have anything I'm unhappy about. I recently downloaded the app for my iPad and am looking for a change to explore it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidspark as a hub for group discussions, almost like a collective brain where everyone thinks together. Organizing school computer carts and student devices was much easier to visualize and make sense on Lucidspark than a spreaksheet.
Great collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I like the whiteboarding functionality. It has been helping me to design and collaborate during Pandemic while everyone is working from home. Its easy-to-use process flow diagram functionality is also unique!! Its functionality to share is just excellent. I have been using this for the last two years to collaborate within my team. Also, the functionality of cloud storage is lovely. When I use Lucid Spark, I don't have any issues with data loss.
What do you dislike about the product?
Overall, it's an excellent tool. I don't see any negative points for the same. Lucid chart and Lucid Spark are pretty decent tools. I use both of them, and they are pretty user-friendly.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been solving design issues, maintaining system architecture diagrams, preparing business process flow diagrams, and more. I have been using Lucid chart as well as Lucid spark to collaborate within my team. Its sharing functionality is just excellent where multiple collaborators can work simultaneously on a single page.
