Modern Workplace Collaborations are Fun Again
What do you like best about the product?
As a company committed to continuous improvement, we struggled to use the same coloration tools virtually that we had grown comfortable using in more analogue collaboration. Whiteboards was an incredible addition to the Lucid suite of tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
As with all new tools, there is a learning curve for getting the most out of the tool. We were fortunate enough to be walked through Lucid by their team on video calls, but without a show-and-tell it requires someone with curiosity and a lot of trial to fully realize what Lucid can do.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration. Specifically making our whiteboard and stickies process--which was key to collaboration in our business--had no digital option when working from home began. That had disrupted our projects and collaboration and Lucid swooped in and offered whiteboards that really got us back on track. Prior to whiteboard specifically, our improvement process had almost ground to a halt.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Make sure to integrate Lucid into Teams using their plugins. We are also a Teams org, and using both the Lucid and LucidSpark add-ins for Teams helps centralize my communication tools.
Also don't hesitate to reach out to Lucid for a one-on-one or one-on-many tutorial. Lucid' as team is terrific, seemingly always available, and open to presenting the tools in a way that benefits your needs--they don't just roll through a canned routine.

Excellent mapping and remote collaboration tool
What do you like best about the product?
I love the simplicity of creating diagrams. Coming from Visio, this makes mapping SO much quicker and easier. Online collaboration is a huge plus, as well, especially with so many of us working from home. Our team has been able to use whiteboarding in our meetings to hash out both short and long-term planning; the benefits of using voting and polling of ideas have been immeasurably helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I can't say I've experienced any pain points yet. I'm tempted to say the cloud aspect because without an Internet connection (ie traveling on a flight for business, etc.), you can't use it. This is a minimal inconvenience, however, for the vast benefits that having a cloud-based application as powerful as this one are numerous in the day to day use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process mapping and other diagramming applications primarily. This tool has been an excellent resource for our Continuous Improvement initiatives, allowing us to quickly and easily map current state and future state processes as we strive to improve our efficiencies as an agency.

Ease of use and excellent user interface. I also like the way we can use it to share and collaborate with people

Making Flowcharts/Diagrams and sharing it with th team

What do you like best about the product?
I like the pre-built templates that allow me to spend minimal time designing project timelines, flowcharts, etc.. Like most, I don't have a lot of time to spare throughout the day, nor would I choose to be at the mercy of an app that doesn't try to make my life easier. Love the efficiency of it all, along with the UI/UX design.
What do you dislike about the product?
Can't think of anything, honestly. Maybe add more videos under the "What would you like to do?" category as a helpful way of expanding usage.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Easy - need to create a graphic to put on customer business review slides or prospect demo slides that illustrate our product's value, our ETA for services engagement, and so on. It's been much easier to do this in Lucid as opposed to Microsoft (excel, word, etc.).
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Take a look at all it has to offer instead of just scratching the surface.
Easy to Use Chart Visualizer & Brainstorming Platform
What do you like best about the product?
Lucid excels at making it easy to connect thoughts and complex ideas across their space. The connectivity and 'smart' aspects of the tools streamline some of the most laborious aspects of mindmaps, process flows, etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can be difficult to share information outside of the platform and then go back in and update it. Exporting files is simple, but of course they are no longer editable.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We are solving process flows, call forwarding and handling, and brainstorming sessions. Benefits are as above.

When using Lucidspark, make sure that your entire team has access as it will simplify the onboarding process and makes adoption of the tool much faster when not running into access issues.

Lucid, the ultimate utilization tool!
What do you like best about the product?
I love that I can use it for basic discussions, visualizing thought, and complex analysis. My students also love using it.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike that I have to sign in each time.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have a group of students who are reluctant to speak. Lucid Spark provides them with an outlet. It is easy to connect students using the organizer tools. It also allows my students to explain complex topics using graphic organizers.

Just play around and learn it before you use it.

What do you dislike about the product?
I don't personnally considered any downside about the use of LucidChart. I mean I can't even fill a feature request to mitigate a frustration I could have.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Sketch my workflow quickly and save tons of words with a nice graphic. Share and build up diagram among geam members, and make my presentation more appealling.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Consider a month trial and see for yourself the time you gain and the feeling of leveling up outputing nice graphics.
Invaluable tool for virtual workshops
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidspark has enabled our office to transition in-person workshops to the virtual world. It is absolutely critical our clients are engaged and participate directly during these workshops, and Lucidspark has made this possible. Furthermore, there have actually been efficiency gains - for example, now clients can write directly onto digital sticky notes, and move them around on a virtual whiteboard; previously, time would be taken doing these things in a physical environment, and significant time can be taken transcribing real sticky notes to digtial notes. Finally, the templates provided are really helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
Navigating sideways across a board can be a bit tricky or not especially intuitive. There's some opportunity there perhaps. Overall, few complaints!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We've been able to continue doing group Kaizen sessions in a world where in-person workshops and gatherings are increasingly less likely. Group ideation, root cause analysis, and collaboration generally has continued, possibly enhanced, thanks to this tool.
It is a solution that provides you with everything necessary to build dashboards and collaborate easily.
What do you like best about the product?
Everything in one place to have collaboration boards.
What do you dislike about the product?
It does not have real-time screen refresh, so you have to do it manually to see the same thing.

Possess a single board on which we can collaborate interactively in the development of solutions to the needs.
