What do you like best about the product?
I love that Lucidspark creates a unique platforms that's fosters innovation through brainstorm and creation. They offer various resources catering to the different pathways in which creators begin the exploration of their creations. I particular loved the sticky note board for example as in daily life I'm constantly jotting notes and ideas down on sticky's. This platform allows me to take a sustainable approach that decreases my contributions to my carbon footprint. Less physical sticky's without the limitation hold on my ideas.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform shows the ability to be user friendly and accessible for all learning/creative exploitation. I would love to see this platform expand into a more useful and practical sense. For example, the opportunity to have lucidspark as a google chrome extension that allows users to recall a particular board or a new idea tool that provides the user the opportunity to jot down quick notes and ideas. The idea/note would then be saved back into the intended board for later use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I decided to use lucidspark as a means of developing the initial ideas and creations for a future small business plan.

As previously mentioned above, Lucidspark has granted me the ability to utilize the sticky note board to remark a modified rendition of a business Canva model that I can organize all the necessities associated to my future business.

What do you like best about the product?
Love the templates and the post-it notes make it very easy to reshuffle into different categories.
What do you dislike about the product?
No spell check... this is a real pain point as I end up cutting and pasting all of my content into another program and moving it back after conducting a spell check.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Gap analysis and brainstorming new system features.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Please put a spell check in and a feedback button. I work in software and it was really frustrating to have to take this avenue to be able to give you any suggestions on the software.

Review of Lucidspark

  • April 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Being able to collaborate in real-time with team members, easy functionality/layout. I like being able to add stickies/move them around on the fly during a meeting, circle best ideas, and categorize ideas in an organized fashion.
What do you dislike about the product?
The formatting of the flow charts was a bit difficult - connecting lines to boxes that didn't overlap when I move them around, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark is helping us layout strategies when we collaborate as a team in a remote meeting. It's nice to be able to have a visual brainstorming tool when leading a call. We have also used it frequently for flow charts which have been a great tool internally and externally for our customers when explaining processes visually.

It's a place to create workflows and diagrams with minimum amount of time

  • April 23, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Most of the components are ready to use and all users need to do is just "drag and drop". Whenever a client or a colleague needs to discuss a specific workflow, I would use lucid spark to aid my explanation.
What do you dislike about the product?
Although lurid spark is made simple, would love to see an upgrade on the design. As a designer, I totally understand that the use case for lurid spark doesn't have to look fancy. However, most of the lucidspark's clients are professionals, if we could have components look more aesthetically appealing, that would be awesome. Or even a toggle between the simple version vs the designer version.

The artboard is hard to edit or uneditable. Maybe lucid can implement that whereby the artboard is adjustable much like Adobe software.

It's also hard to share a particular project as the other peer might have to login. Maybe have an option to allow non-logins viewable. (I might be wrong on this point/ unexplored)

There also should be customised and reusable components by the company or even better, provide a design system or integrate with XD/ Figma.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
As mentioned above, I use it as workflows to communicate with my peers. The benefits are:

1. quick and easy to use
2. Drag and drop
3. Easy to type texts as they are connected with the component
4. Multiple projects concurrently
5. Easy to export as multiple formats
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It's easy to sign up, free and great usability - easy to understand for new users
