Great tool with a variety of uses
What do you like best about the product?
Useful templates to help me get started on projects quickly. Highly customizable. Good team collaboration. I like that I can see when others are in the document and what they're doing. This has been really useful with working remotely.
What do you dislike about the product?
Sometimes it can be diffucult to find older documents.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mapping out user flows to inform UI/UX Design direction and requirements and ensure alignment with tech for technical requirements. We inlucde these flows as part of our design handover for on and offshore teams to reference.

A very interesting tool to brainstorm, collect ideas and work together creatively
What do you like best about the product?
Your creativity is the limit on what you can do. I have the impression that Lucidspark is improving its service continuously. When I used it the first time, my collaborators and I made a relationship matrix with tons of post-its and we had to align them by hand. Now you can sort and gather them efficiently, which is a great feature to save time. I also love that it is possible to work at the same time as your colleagues, on different parts of the document. This great for separate idea creation, afterwards you can go through the ideas one by one. Seeing the other's mouse cursors also help a lot.
As it is online, people can also work independently of their timezone on the mindmap. So not everyone has to work at the same time. That helps also to distribute tasks and let people finish their work by themselves. Lastly, already the free version of Lucidspark provide enough freedom to test the platform and you can find out, whether using Lucidspark adds value to your organization. It did in my case.

What do you dislike about the product?
I am slightly colorblind and have issues with attributing the correct color to the different post-its. It would help a lot to either have tags next to the colors (that pop-up) to help selecting the right color. For fairness they have a kind of "eyedropper" like in Powerpoint that helps me to align the colors. I need to admit that I haven't mentioned that feedback to the Lucidpark team, so I cannot say how quickly Lucidpark implements such feedback in new updates.
I also want to mention that Lucidpark does not replace an in-person brainstorming session, you need to have a teleconference at the same time to communicate with your team, without that it can become quite a chaos.

I am mainly writing story arcs and characterizations of different actors with my team. I find Lucidpark beneficial that you can work on the same document at the same time that is a colossal mind map. If we would use other options like a google-doc, we would be limited to writing & maybe some shapes and stuff. In contrast, Lucidspark provides a plattform for collaboration with other people and creating visually exciting documents that spark new ideas.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
I recommend trying out the free version first. It requires a couple of sessions to learn how to use all the functionalities fully, but I think it is possible to realize quickly how helpful the platform is for your task. During home office and lock-down times, I believe Lucidpark is a great tool!
Additionally, if your team works on large idea mind maps, having these digital and not in paper form can provide a clutter-free work environment.

What do you like best about the product?
I like the drag and drop items
I like the align feature where all selected objects get aligned according my setting
I like the gridlines and spacing guidance.. it helps place items balanced
I like the export options .. I can do many different file formats .. also with transparent background
I like the full screen display.. good for presenting
I like the slides. very different than a powerpoint setup. I like that unlimited canvas setting where an idea can keep growing and it will accomodate by increasing capactity. Also it is always good to have all the legs of an idea contained within a single master display. This helps keep a limb of the project in perspective. Also it helps people understand which module of the project fits where in the grand scheme

What do you dislike about the product?
Automatic line drawing from objects. Always creates a new line mistakenly from an object ... when all I am trying to do is move the object.
When zoomed in the ability to place a line or object should be more granular. It should not snap fit to next biggest size.
Should have more animation options in slides.
Should have more image/picture coloring and editing and filter options. Like an uploaded image should have some color shading options where we can match to customize it's palette.
Should have a rounded feature for images.
Rounded line should have a balance feature .. where the rounded line would be of a balanced radius

Creating professional grade architecture diagrams
Having easy drawing options helps collaborate on design
Easy to put ideas into visual format
Converging all different modules of a master project into a single master file
Haven't tried it yet.. but the option to import an AWS account and to have Lucid chart out the architecture automatically is amazing!

Great for Team Brainstorming
What do you like best about the product?
This is an excellent tool for team collaboration, such as making brainstorming boards, process maps, and more! It's like a virtual whiteboard with cool added features. I like that you can hover all of the buttons and get a note on what the button does. multiple people can be on at once, and you see the changes and updates in real-time! I like the different colors and features like sticky notes. I also love the organize and template features. The templates allow you to get started on something quickly and organize and gather features by keywords is helpful! I also have not used it but the presentation feature seems useful!
What do you dislike about the product?
Moving items can be tricky because it doesn't show when someone moves it until it has moved, at least a few times when I used the tool but perhaps that was my internet. For example, when moving a sticky note to a different area. It is also hard to figure out how to delete something. I am always scared I am accidentally going to delete the whole board because I press delete and cant find the remove or delete button of something I added only to remember you can highlight things and press delete. The notes features would be cool if could be seperated by date or category incase there are multiple meetings for a board that require note keeping over multiple meetings. It would be nice to have the ideas listed still connected to the contributor. Templates are also nice but sometimes hard to figure out which is best, a recommendation tool based on project purpose would be cool!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Brainstorming on ideas, processing mapping virtually, and project planning with a group of people can be frustrating when we are not all in one room. The tool allows for everyone to be in a virtual board together like in an office with a whiteboard. It's also nice that you can see people names as they are contributing. It has allowed for improved team collaboration and consolidation of ideas. I also like the zoom in and out feature that lets you maximize the space being used. Also gathering ideas by key words helps sort out the compiling of all the different ideas.

Start by setting some ground rules on what the page will be used for to try and wrangle your team and stay on topic.
Lucidspark makes creating retrospectives in real-time easy.
What do you like best about the product?
We like the real-time collaboration for using it as a sprint retrospective tool.
Since it's real-time, we can see how people are commenting and responding. It allows people to respond in real time or thumbs up similar thought.

What do you dislike about the product?
Pricing is separated from Lucidchart currently. It would be nice to get both if you have a subscription to Lucidchart.
It's probably not intended as a sprint retrospective tool, so it might be nice to create a whiteboard and making pros and cons. Or voting for cards to talk about.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Mainly to use for sprint retrospective, so it might be helpful to be anonymous / hide user names. We might lose action items since we have to create tasks in Jira or personal To-Do lists
We haven't done more real-time collaboration, but it would be nice to connect an iPad / Tablet to draw with a pen to diagram faster.

Lucid Spark is an innovative collaborative whiteboarding solution
What do you like best about the product?
The collaborative UX is excellent. It was familiar when coming from Lucid Chart, but solved for a different job to be done. The "post-it" note & dot vote features were unique and super useful.
What do you dislike about the product?
We struggled to get full adoption. With so many pans in the fire and an already dense proliferation of software packages, Spark, for most, simply became one more package to learn. While most leaned on Lucid Chart as familiar, I was hopeful that Spark would take hold, especially with Covid and the move to remote work, but it did stick for some reason.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were solving whiteboarding exercises and project shaping efforts.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Early on, I found that the familiarity to Lucid Chart was a detriment to Lucid Spark. New users tried to force it to do what Chart does so well. Familiarity presented a mental barrier toward delving into the core of Spark's powers.
