What do you like best about the product?
The several templates already avaible to be used, the simplicity of the tool.
What do you dislike about the product?
The free plan has some heavy limitations.
Some templates are not very intuitive.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm only starting, but the idea is to create Kanban boards and to manage action planning with my team. I set-up the initial boards now, got to work more to customise them now.

One of the best virtual whiteboards with great collaboration tools

  • October 04, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I loved its ease of use and collaboration tools. It's very easy to select a wide range of shapes and/or text boxes to quickly drag and drop onto the whiteboard to get ideas across. When collaborating with others, you can see what they are doing and where their cursor is in real time. In terms of sharing and inviting others onto the whiteboard, I like that there's multiple types of permissions you can choose to give people.
What do you dislike about the product?
One thing that I found to be mildy annoying that was not initally apparent how I could remedy was that sometimes, objects or arrows would "snap" to objects in undesirable places. This made me spend a little more time trying to fix these issues rather than just building out ideas. While collaboration is great, I feel that it was not immediately clear how to share a whiteboard nor how certain permissions worked. Perhaps just putting a little description somewhere about them would be great.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Most of my time with Lucidspark was for creating tree diagrams to solve any given abstract problem a client may approach use with. These problems can range widly such as coming up with the most effiective material to use in an arm brace. It was also super useful to visualize server networking and flow charts to aid me in how I should go about writing code for programs that I was creating.

The way how arrows between diagram entities automatically change their shape

What do you like best about the product?
I like that it's easy to use, you just drag and drop everything and it works
What do you dislike about the product?
i wish it would auto wrap text, or auto shrink words to fit in entities/shapes, or auto extend shapes to show the full word.

i also wish copy and paste would work, or cut and paste, it always pasted to exactly where it is
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?

Nice solution for org.charts for small size organisations

  • September 30, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The templates provided are nicely designed. I picked one and managed to build my org. chart in a few clicks with a csv file. I still had to drag and drop a few fields to regroup people and add blocks for managers with multiple teams, but I would say my result after build by Lucichart was 90% done. I liked that I can easily add / hide employee data fileds (like department, title, group)
What do you dislike about the product?
I missed the possibility to collapse/expand not the whole level, but one department/team, functionality to easily group people under one manager by role type (like one manager managing sales and marketing team and I can't easily divide them on sales column and marketing column). Also, creating a 1-page pdf rather than 26 pages pdf for a big organization was a pain and I spent a lot of time trying figure out how to fit it on one sheet.
Still these things are minor, and I'm satisfied with the tool
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Building organizational chart of my organization
The tool is nice and quite advance in functionality

What do you like best about the product?
I love how easy it is to get started in Lucidchart. Once I opened the app, I was making chart in seconds!
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish Lucidchart had more designs, especially ones related to biology: DNA, RNA, tubes, dishes, flasks, falcon tubes, etc.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helped me create workflows that are easy to visualize and summarize. It made me realize that people prefer charts rather than texts when presenting.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you want a fast and effective way to generate a chart, use Lucidpark

Best I have used so far

  • September 28, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The best thing is the easiness of use; it's easy to make flowcharts and diagrams. They have some excellent sample templates to start with. You can drag figures or things you want to add to the canvass. This is a fantastic collaboration tool for remote workers. We use it as an idea board too, where the team collaborates with others to create tasks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It may be costly for individuals to use for personal things. Although it's an excellent tool. You may have to learn a few things to utilize the way you want it to work fully.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Structural charts, bubble diagrams and the ability to put faces in the charts really help to create the Org charts. We use it a lot for architectural diagrams internally for the development teams, and it is pretty easy to communicate there.

What do you like best about the product?
Lucid is a must-have app for any professional that works with complex processes, training, or development, and I love the low adoption curve that the app provides with intuitive design and user experience. Also, the range of possibilities that the tool offers is excellent.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are a few things that are annoying, some of the basic navigation settings are not intuitive, I always change for the Miro navigation setup, also the export options lack the options of XML, HTML and URL.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I used the tool for EDR diagramming and process training for sales representatives, which helped me, from technical mapping and visualization of process, and training of simple and effective practices across the sales team.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
The range of templates available and the effortless learning curve are the main benefits of the tool.
