Ideal for Sales Operations, More Intuitive & User-Friendly than Visio

  • October 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
If you do a significant amount of process engineering in your role/function than LucidChart is a critical tool to create process documentation. It's great for visualizing end-to-end process flows that draw attention to key activities, inputs and outputs, as well as deliverables across a process. The UI is much easier to navigate than Trello. I deeply appreciate the ability to upload/convert process flows that are in different file types.
What do you dislike about the product?
None at this time, will provide further feedback if anything comes up
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Process documentation support change management and improve onboarding experience to new or revitalized processes

Unique way to collaborate creatively with a lot of people.

  • October 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The interface is unique, how you can navigate/scroll around with 50+ people collaborating at once.
What do you dislike about the product?
We couldn't figure out how to "lock" a template, so once 50+ people were on the page, several things broke all at once.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Collaboration with 50+ people- there was no better way to do it! We have creative idea boards from various discussions to guide the direction of our company.

What do you like best about the product?
I love the easy way you can organize and create brainstorming boards. Lucidspark makes the process simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
At times, I have trouble moving the screen to move the board to an empty spot.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Right now, I am using it to plot out a series of books. The design of Lucidspark allows me to map out the timeline easy and gives me room to brainstorm scenes. The benefits is that you are able to keep it all in one spot.

Excellent virtual whiteboard for the remote-first team

  • October 18, 2021
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I enjoy how Lucidspark provides excellent and intuitive design for collaboration, with comments, emojis, and GIF images to add spark along the way. It has a helpful two-way integration with JIRA to export cards as JIRA tickets or import existing tickets for discussion and collaboration. The Google Presentations plugin is also beneficial, taking the whiteboard view and sharing it out to the broader team or stakeholders. The grouping/ungrouping and locking help preserve and organize the chart components once they've solidified based on team feedback. The "create arrow" tool helps create a quick flow based on cards already built.
What do you dislike about the product?
One export capability is CSV, but I cannot use the exported CSV from a Lucidspark board to import into a new document. Therefore, I cannot preserve the chart data offline to bring it back at a later time. Furthermore, I cannot export from Miro (or another tool) to CSV and import the contents into Lucidspark, as we have teams that prefer differing whiteboard systems. Regarding the helpful JIRA integration, I accidentally created 16 cards in JIRA because the walk-through on export was unclear as I walked through the process. I had selected multiple chart components and was surprised to see every piece of the flow chart (including single word cards) export as JIRA stories. Unfortunately, since I cannot delete JIRA stories, that was a bit of an issue.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I am looking to have a collaboration tool for our development team and product/design teams to interact and build out workflows to capture plans for new planned development. We have seen some of this so far and look forward to continued collaboration to provide business value.
