Better than the other applications I tried

  • January 25, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
The ease of selecting, dragging, and dropping shapes/modules onto the workspace.
What do you dislike about the product?
Haven't discovered the dislike part yet. Maybe the limit of using the number of fields in the free plan. Had to switch to Individual Plan just to add more fields.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming the flow of processes in our operations team. It's pretty handy for creating flow scenarios for processes.

I would want to be able to modify some elements
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A better understanding of my customer, then made a faster decision

Very handy

What do you like best about the product?
Its simple to navigate and simple to add and subtract symbols and shapes. We have found it very useful for very quick sketching of workflows and diagrams.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like to see a mouse button shortcut to a pan option, similar to AutoCAD. And the roller ball on the mouse could be used a little better - right now it jumps up and down the screen, it would work a little lore smothly is the mouse roller ball was the zoom in/out option and pressing the roller ball is the pan option.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Major and minor work flows are being solved across multiple disciplines and are being reviewed swiftly across all the stake holders. This speeds up the effectiveness of the workflows.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Recommendations to potential users - we've found it very useful and helpful. It's worth a trial

Create workflows in just few minutes with just few clicks

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best sites for creating effective workflows and process flows. Collaborate with multiple colleagues to work on the same charts, multiple out of the box templates
What do you dislike about the product?
Unable to add any animations on the process flows
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Simulating real-life use cases via process flows. This helps clients visualize what their end to-be processes would look like
Recommendations to others considering the product:
If you are looking for adding animations to your diagrams then you need to consider other apps

Lucid chart is fantastic for flow and processes builging

  • January 23, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use, automatic filling of connections, and next shape suggestions, sharing works great.
What do you dislike about the product?
Not a lot, as the platform works great for what it needs to do. One thing in the UI I would change is how it shows large diagrams and allows to zoom in or out from them.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart's diagramming function to layout complicated Hubspot/Salesforce workflows in the planning stage and also to better describe and understand system architecture planning as well as complex business processes.

Charting Excellence

What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use and very self explanitory program.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing was wrong with it - I really liked using it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Exploring the payment flows for new clients. The benefit of using Lucidchart is that it provides a pictorial representation of how the funds will flow.

Mostly easy to pick up for a noobie...

What do you like best about the product?
Good tutorials available online. Pretty intuitive interface and I was able to quickly create the flow chart I needed. it looks like the advanced features would be very useful for a number of applications.
What do you dislike about the product?
Would like to see more up to date tutorials, some of the videos pertained to an earlier version of Lucid and some things had changed since the videos were released.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Creating a customer service-flow chart to help diagnose technical issues to escalate to a technical advisor. Allowed customer service with little technical knowledge know how to direct incoming questions to the appropriate response or technical advisor.

Easy to learn and quickly adoptable by all team members

What do you like best about the product?
It is built well for what it is advertised for. We were able to fully customize the layouts, assign tasks with ease, and create a very descriptive manual. If we were confused, it took seconds to get a hold of someone that could help.
What do you dislike about the product?
For what we needed it for, it all worked well so we did not experience any direct downsides. If you are using a free account, you are extremely limited to what you can and can't do making it less appealing for me to consider a subscription.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We were using it to develop a layout for an assembly manual. Lucidchart made it simple to create sections, move pages and texts around, and assign tasks more clearly over google pages.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Lucidchart has been an easy-to-use platform. If you need it, it's going to be useful and make managing your project much easier.

Great Experience and easy to use

  • January 18, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the fact that it is easy to use and less "finicky" I have always used Visio, so was not sure how Lucid Charts would be but it's so easy and better transition
What do you dislike about the product?
I think it's the fact that you can't have more than 2 "shapes in use" pinned at any one time
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Diagramming and mapping out business processes
Recommendations to others considering the product:
It is worth giving it a try and see for yourself

A bit early to tell, but very useful so far.

What do you like best about the product?
I've only had Lucidchard for one week so I am not in a position to talk about all that it can do. I've been using it to set up org charts and while there weren't any instructions as to how to do that, the process was fairly intuitive. I'm sure there are shortcuts that could have made the job easier and I imagine I will over time learn them, but for now, Lucidchart has been very useful for the one function that I required.
What do you dislike about the product?
I'd like some simple step by step tutorials (written) that takes people the most basic functions for which they may use Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
None so far.
Recommendations to others considering the product:
Ask for a two week trial. One week is a bit too short to really get to learn it if in fact you have other things to tend to in your work.
