Better than Visio
What do you like best about the product?
The interface is intuitive and powerful.

I wish there was more control over object alignment in terms of auto-align.

My team uses it to host software specifications.

Try it out to see if it meets your requirements first. It probably will and will do so better than others.

Easy to scatch ideas and flows, especially helpful for remote work, nice to use a legit tool instead of looking for some online alternative

Easy to create diagram detailing architecture and process flow.

Sometime it is a little hard to use, the mouse behaviour is sometimes a little wonky especially when trying to add arrows or resizing.

Maintaining architecture diagrams and process flow. Allows us to have a centralized for architectual documentation.
Great Diagraming and Collab Tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, I can get new team members set up quickly and put together useful documents in no time at all!

We create a lot of documents sometimes managing them can be hard.

Explaining complicated automated workflows to non-technical team members
Fantastic charting tool
What do you like best about the product?
Easy to use, super clean, modern interface. everything just works, all in the browser, no need to spin up additional desktop tools, no random quirks or crashes. Easy to share charts with colleagues and work "side-by-side".
What do you dislike about the product?
So far every shapes/component that I need is buried in a template somewhere, and every template looks different, sometimes not super intuitive as to where to load new shapes.
In my case, I could not find a way to upload ERD's generated from Mysql Bench or some other SQL desktop tool.

What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Basic ERDs, flow charts, process charts. It's a great tool for team collaboration, as multiple users can jump in and collaborate with each. It has made it super simple to chart something out and share as a living document.
An excellent way to visualize workflows
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart makes building a workflow or org chart incredibly easy. The task-relevant shapes also make relatively nuanced concepts very easy to visualize. Integrations (sheets, db ERD, etc) are also very helpful.
What do you dislike about the product?
I really don't have any complaints. Lucidchart does a great job for my purposes.

Complex workflow diagrams. Using the integrated data from google sheets we also have solved some reporting issues. Also org charts.
Outstanding Application for Mapping Processes and producing simple Content
What do you like best about the product?
I invest personally in a Lucidchart license. I employ it to support planning, process configuration, mapping and created simple content for my teams. The application is easy to use, intuitive, can be extended in ways to support off-brand usage, and provides a large virtual space to provision projects in a single place. I love the ability to drop and drag, connect, and visualize my intent. Then I can move created content to other platforms to utilize.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are some features that I wish were available to private users who are self-paying for their licenses. I also have found it harder to share documents between users who do not want to use Lucid chart. Can easily be overcome by exporting to a PDF or snapping an image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the product daily to think digitally and retain and store complex problems that I am seeking to solve over time. I also use it to quickly prepare simple content for presentations and training purposes. Lastly, it is a great tool to get content virtually in one place and then move around to design optimal paths of performance.

The arrows that link each object are not always easy to control

I haven't noticed any significant improvements since I wrote my last review.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish I could take it out of diagraming mode so that when I'm working on things that aren't flow charts it doesn't constantly try to create arrows between elements.

Having workflows and diagrams for my team to reference has been invaluable. It's a great tool to make sure we are all aligned which is of course key to the success of any project.
