Great for improving concentration and increasing productivity

  • September 23, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Even though it might take some time to get used to it, Lucid is the best digital whiteboard for collaboration because it's easy to use and has many features that other digital whiteboards don't have. For example, adding new content, receiving feedback, and making adjustments on the board are accessible. And if you're working on a team, you can import other team members' plans and ideas. Lucid also has a spell checker, which is helpful, and it's easy to partition work areas, so everyone knows what they're responsible for.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Lucidspark is that when you're presenting something that's already been drawn or written, you don't have as many additional tools to help you emphasize the essential elements.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Lucidspark is solving problems with a more precise understanding and flow design. Lucidspark is beneficial because it allows people to see the overall picture more clearly and find potential solutions more quickly.

Lucid Chart collaboration is top-notch!

What do you like best about the product?
Prior to the last 3 years, I used Visio for all my flowchart needs. When I started with my current company, I had to get used to using non-Microsoft applications, which included LucidChart. Luckily, the majority of the functionality has the same feel as Visio which made it much easier to quickly become accustomed. The biggest difference for me was the ease of collaborating with other users across the company. You can see the other users in the document and watch their activity in real time! This has been very beneficial! For situations when reviewing a very complex process flow, it's easy for all parties to be in the same document at the same time and see each user in a different color. This is especially beneficial in our post-COVID remote-working model.
What do you dislike about the product?
The only reason I give a 9 instead of a 10 is because of the issues with larger flowcharts causing the app to lock-up or freeze and sometimes the entire application will just shut-down (repeatedly). I avoid that issue by breaking up my flowcharts into smaller processes, which is a much better practice anyways!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
A big problem in my field as a Business Systems Analyst is the back and forth with requirements. Oftentimes, the business will return to a previously requested requirement or de-scope some requirements. LucidChart's versioning feature makes it easy to restore a previous flowchart down to the hour or the last change. This feature has saved me a lot of time!

There is something for everyone at Lucidspark

What do you like best about the product?
lucid Spark is a practical whiteboard for at-home projects and collaboration. Its cloud technology allows it to be used despite power shortages and other internet connection problems. Lucid Spark's customer service has always been responsive in my experience. Overall, I strongly recommend LucidSpark as a powerful tool for businesses and families during this crisis.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike Lucidspark because it can be challenging to include specific details in your analysis. The post-it notes and containers are great for general concepts, but they can be cumbersome when you need to drill down into the specifics.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Telecommuting has made teamwork more complex than ever, as tracking what has been discussed is harder. Lucidspark aims to help with this by providing teams with an unlimited workspace where they can document every second of their workshops. This way, stakeholders will always know what was discussed, and no meeting notes will be lost.

Lucidspark: A light in the dark.

What do you like best about the product?
only your imagination limits your options with Lucidspark. I get the impression they're always trying to enhance their service. The first time I used it, my coworkers and I created a relationship matrix by manually aligning many post-it notes. Now they can be organized and collected more effectively. Plus, the option to communicate with coworkers simultaneously on different document areas is a valuable bonus. It's helpful to produce ideas independently so you can later assess them thoroughly. They know where other people's mouse point is also extraordinarily beneficial.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like Lucidspark because I wasn't aware of it before Jamboard. It would have been beneficial to have had that tool available to our group. The only other thing I could say is that sometimes when you zoom in and out on the board, it moves faster or more dramatically than intended, which can cause you to lose work and then have to go back and find it again. But maybe that's just a user error
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
lucidspark was used for our software sprint retrospectives and was very beneficial. The voting function eliminated the need for us to devise alternate techniques for simulating voting, which saves a lot of time. The ability to "point" at what they were discussing without moving their hands was another advantage of having live cursors. Lucidspark also provided keyboard shortcuts without having to keep re-creating, which is, again, very useful.

Works pretty well, but gets my computer hot and slow.

  • September 20, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like the freedom that I can create any kind of chart. Also the best part is that you get templates even for not so known types of diagrams, in my case the C4 diagrams. And after that, the integration with other platforms. I embed these diagrams on confluence.
What do you dislike about the product?
Globally slows down the computer. I use a 2019 i9 fully maxed out Mac Book Pro, and after some time the whole computer gets hot and slows down. I know that is lucid chart because when I close the tab. In less that a minute, my computer returns back to normal.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Confluence does not have any good diagramming solution. On top of that, the Software engineering management has been requesting very specific diagrams withing the Technical Requirement Documents, and the software design. Lucid chart covers the functionality we need at a price point that is easy to get approval within the companu.

Creating flowcharts, software diagrams for my colleagues.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
With Lucidchart's drag-and-drop interface, you can create detailed charts, software diagrams, and mockups quickly and easily. Examples that are simple to apply are an excellent springboard for articulating your thoughts. Lucidchart provides multiple exporting options, making sharing my work with colleagues from other departments easy - exporting your charts is a breeze, and users are provided with GoogleDrive/Onedrive integration. I use it on my iPad, desktop at work, and laptop at home, as it supports multiple platforms.
What do you dislike about the product?
I haven't discovered anything I dislike, and Lucidchart meets my requirements. It's simple to create a chart or diagram, and there are numerous ways to export it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart enhances departmental communication. Lucidchart can be used to create anything from simple flowcharts to complex software/project architecture diagrams, organizational charts, and mockups to communicate ideas better.

Lucidchart is a very useful tool and easy to use

What do you like best about the product?
I used this tool for creating a tree diagram. The interface is clean and simple. The visualization is so easy and I don't even have to learn it. I highly recommend this tool to everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
The function to draw arrows is not so convenient for me. In my case, I need to draw arrows many times, each time I have to click and select the arrow. This is just a minor problem.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It is a great visualization tool. By visualizing the information architectures of several apps, we could figure out what the problems are and try to improve it.

Review central with a variety of different companies with valid reviews from the wider community

  • September 19, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
The most helpful factors of Lucidspark is how I am able to create my own workflow processes with a variety of different shapes, direction and own "expression" through the platform. Other competitors don't have well thought of platforms where it has been used many times throughout my business. Adding users to the same "worksheet" helps build indepth processes for different projects, all at the same time.
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike how some templates may be very limited with on how to make it more adaptive to show workflow processes for different areas. Some other improvements would be to have more regular templates available, as creating my own is very amazing but having templates to build on would be even better to have projects built upon.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark is resolving workflow processes for the business, as we have written guides on how the process is used, but no visual adapatation for it. By having visual workflows, makes the process more insightful by using a virtual whiteboard where many users can work on the same board where we can explain the processes more detailed. Having different processes throughout the business from having documents sent to offshore teams & onboarding new employees, lucidspark has made the workflow more visible to the wider team.

A lot of template and collaborative

  • September 19, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I like that they have template pre-assigned for many topics like topology but also for value chain, canva, RCA analysis and those can be worked together as a TEAM
What do you dislike about the product?
for me is not clear the difference bewteen lucidspark and lucichart is confusing , as well sometime we share by provding the ssesion but people is not able to access
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use the most the template because already have the files and sometime you can see example of how to fill it, and like that can be filled with post-it, that is very simple
