Great for what we need and makes it easy to work together

  • October 04, 2022

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is the most excellent charting application I've always used. It is highly user-friendly and packed with possibilities. When I initially began using it, I created pretty basic charts. But after seeing what my crew has made, I am blown away. We have created stunning charts that demonstrate the excellence of our networks.
What do you dislike about the product?
It wasn't easy to share the array. When several tabs are active, the board takes longer to load. When using "incognito mode," the website loads significantly faster.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I focus on planning how various organizations arrange and connect digital material. It enables me to anticipate future issues and make the necessary adjustments.

What do you like best about the product?
A Lucidchart is an excellent tool for creating all kinds of diagrams. The best thing about Lucidchart is that it makes creating diagrams very easy. The user interface is simple, but at the same time, it offers a lot of options for customizing your charts. You can use pre-defined templates or create your own from scratch, which gives you a lot of flexibility in terms of design. Lucidchart also has excellent collaboration features: you can invite others to work on your diagram in real-time, leave comments, chat with team members, etc. This makes teamwork much more accessible and helps avoid misunderstandings.
What do you dislike about the product?
While I like the easy-to-use interface of LucidChart, a few potential advantages could make it even better. For example, a mobile app would be great for quickly sketching diagrams or brainstorming ideas. Additionally, the ability to scan hand-drawn photos and generate wireframes or flowcharts instantly would be a fantastic addition to an already existing process.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The issue is that people aren't always able to quickly and easily understand wireframes created in Lucidchart. There is often a learning curve associated with using the tool, leading to frustration and wasted time.

Great for quick collaborative idea generation and facilitating discussions

What do you like best about the product?
There are lots of ways Lucidspark helps get ideas flowing, from having everyone in the team able to add notes and ideas, to teaching with "content" and methods for sharing insights as the class discussion evolves. It's fun to see what people come up with in how we use the tools, but the experience is low-overhead, meaning we get moving, and the group flow is robust.
What do you dislike about the product?
There are times when the brainstorming and visual collaboration have reached a stage where we're ready to transition to definitive decisions and the next steps. I'm not as confident that our results are easily differentiated between brainstorming and concrete results. I'd like to see a way to formalize brainstorming outcomes into what feels less ephemeral than sticky notes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark is helpful with getting the many possible ideas out of our team's heads and into a shared "external" space where we can see them, see how they relate, and start iterating faster.

What do you like best about the product?
The things that Lucidchart provides to us make it easy to create a helpful chart for our team. It is simple, easy, and valuable. We are using it to keep our business processes and it is easy to create, edit and share.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that makes me dislike this platform for now. I did not face any problems for now. I hope it keeps working in this way so we can use it for tracking our business processes. It would be great if we could import files like doc, Docx, and pdf and automatically generate a chart for us.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We have very complex business processes to solve customer problems. It is helping us to virtualize the flows as a diagram to explain them to our team members. Also, it keeps everything on the cloud which is great if your team wants to contribute or view it later without saving it to a local drive. So shortly, we are using it for our monthly work and demonstrations to new members of the team.

A new self-taught user of Lucidchart - it did exactly what I was looking for!

What do you like best about the product?
I had a specific challenge, where I was trying to mindmap out a new team structure that was more circular than a conventional org chart. Lucidchart gave me the scope to draw up a visual representation, which Powerpoint & Visio was unable to do.
What do you dislike about the product?
The UX overall was good; my only observation was the menus/toolbars took a little exploring before I could get the drawing looking how I had envisioned. This didn't take long to figure out. The main thing I couldn't find a way to do was move the whole diagram on the page (i.e. centre it on the page or reposition it). I could only seem to move the individual parts of the drawing.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Flexibility to mirror a more true-to-life team structure, rather than conventional org chart drawing software - reflecting more modern company structure which is less hierarchichal.

Easy to use and great for collaboration

What do you like best about the product?
The ability to drag & drop to add new shapes/connectors
The ability to change a shape versus having to delete and re-create
The ability to default connector styles, etc (and to change easily, as needed)
What do you dislike about the product?
That the free trial doesn't allow me to create an example with more that 50 objects, so it hasn't been easy to convince my company of its value (we use very complex diagrams)
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I work in ecommerce and visual diagrams are most effective to keep my team in line with the client's requirements. Also, until a project is completed, the diagrams are "living documents" meaning they can change. Having the ability to export incrementally (or save as new) allows me to maintain a revision history throughout discovery while always sharing the current iteration.

Outstanding solution for any chart or graphic!

What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate how intuitive Lucidchart is. You may rearrange elements, alter their appearance, or add text. The explanations of the forms are concise but informative. I have previously utilized different graphic design software, but Lucidchart is unquestionably the finest for flow charts. With this tool, even an inexperienced presenter may rapidly create an outstanding presentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The platform has several valuable features, such as hyperlinks. However, hyperlinks do not instantly change color when clicked, making them more challenging to see and use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucid when I need to work on a project without diagramming tools because I am a visual learner. It includes all of the necessary templates. Also, tutorials are now available.

Incredible asset! User-friendly interface and outstanding customer support.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucidchart is that it's a cloud-based application that facilitates easy internal and external teamwork and is accessible from anywhere. I also really appreciate the vast assortment of forms it offers to choose from, as well as its integration with Lucidchart- which makes pulling metadata directly from my org to create an architectural diagram super easy ( no surprise, given that this is what Lucidchart internally uses to create diagrams). Plus, Google Docs allows charts to be embedded and exported in various formats - including Visio - which opens up even more template files and pre-made shape library possibilities.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is challenging to make everything intuitively obvious, a common problem with feature-rich software platforms; therefore, some features are hidden or hard to locate. But a quick search on Google has always provided me with the required answers.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I have been using Lucidchart for a few months now, and I love it. It has helped me with my professional work, explicitly creating uniform municipal submission templates. This is a massive issue for me because scaling all of my drawings precisely is vital to the success of my projects. Without Lucidchart, I would be lost.

Lucidchart is an excellent product that is extremely easy to use.

What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucidchart is that it is simple to prepare a few items. I tend to think visually and have a strong process orientation in my line of work, so before discovering Lucidchart, I was accustomed to using whiteboards because it was the quickest way to get ideas down onto paper. Other tools, such as Microsoft Project, appeared too cumbersome and difficult to use effectively. Because it is such a simple build incrementally in Lucidchart, I now perform every process that comes to mind.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is nothing that I dislike about Lucidchart. It is an excellent tool with many features that allow me to create professional-looking diagrams and flowcharts. The only thing I would like to see improved is the free plan's editable documents and additional professional templates.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart helps me to stay organized and eliminates the need for paper notes. It also allows me to get input from others, making it an excellent tool for collaboration.

LucidSpark: A fantastic alternative to physical whiteboards for remote teams.

  • September 29, 2022
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
One of the best things I like about Lucidspark is its excellent design for collaboration. It's easy and fun to add a comment, an emoji, and GIFs. Additionally, it has two handy features in connecting with JIRA – you can import tickets to be discussed collaboratively and import tickets to be addressed collaboratively. Another excellent quality is that the Google Presentations add-on allows you to display the whiteboard so everyone on your team (and anyone else who might be interested) can see it. Once feedback from the team has helped solidify what should go into a chart/grouping, those components can be organized and locked into place using grouping/ungrouping functions. Plus, there's also a " draw arrows " function which comes in handy for quickly creating flowcharts from already existing cards!
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Lucidspark is that it's hard to find simple images, document symbols, queue numbers, etc., when you're trying to map out a product design. You have to dig through all the options available instead of being able to locate them quickly. Additionally, some pictures aren't explanatory, and you need to rely on their name tags to guess what they are meant to depict.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The Lucidspark We are a problem-solving tool that helps people resolve disagreements about the design of buildings. Using Lucidspark, you can have productive conversations aided by visuals.
