Drag-and-drop tool for creating graphs and charts.
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is simple to use thanks to its intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Coworkers and I can collaborate without relying on time-consuming methods such as email comments or handwritten notes to reflect the most recent changes to shared diagrams. A browser-based client is also more convenient because I only need to share a link rather than an entire app with a colleague or client.
What do you dislike about the product?
The price is relatively high in comparison to what you get. In contrast, we no longer need to spend as much time diagramming in other programs as we did previously.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I'm very comfortable creating graphs and diagrams. We can quickly provide great charts/presentations to our colleagues/supervisors by using Lucidcharts. Collaboration with colleagues and tracking edits/modifications is simple.
Was able to portray a complex workflow using Lucid chart
What do you like best about the product?
The flowchart objects were placed intuitively in the right places, from where I could pick the proper workflow to present my idea in a short time visually. The leadership team understood my vision in a few minutes, which otherwise would have taken long hours to explain verbally.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connecting arrows were not getting extended well. I struggled to connect the arrow object between two ideation objects in the specific curvature I wanted. I had to repeat the steps multiple times.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark helps in ideation in an enriched visual manner. Complex ideas are conveyed in an easy-to-understand flow diagram. Collaboration is another cool feature that allows creativity in a group.
Lucidchart: The most intuitive and user-friendly charting Software
What do you like best about the product?
I love the fact that Lucidchart is so adaptable. I had a lot of trouble positioning charts on the page when I first started using Google Docs, but Lucidchart can be accessed directly from my web browser, making it much more convenient. It's also great for rapidly adding diagrams to Google Docs because it operates entirely within my browser. In my opinion, one of Lucidchart's best qualities is its intuitiveness. Anyone can create a flowchart immediately if they don't have a background in information design or systems.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I don't like about Lucidchart is that you can't download the file for local storage. That could pose a difficulty. If I left my job and gave my replacement access to my work computer, they wouldn't be able to access any of my files because they would be encrypted in my cloud storage. There may be a solution, but I have yet to discover it.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is an excellent tool for creating standard operating procedure (SOP) process flows. With the help of our intelligent workflows, we can design beautiful, usable processes in record time. This makes Lucidchart an indispensable tool for any business looking to streamline operations and improve employee productivity.
Lucidspark: Outstanding teamwork resource
What do you like best about the product?
The thing I like best about Lucidspark is its shallow learning curve. In my opinion, there's no more comprehensive remote work tool than this one. The timer feature is an outstanding addition; in the past, when working together, I had to complete each step separately. With the built-in timer function on Lucidspark, the facilitator can easily keep the meeting on schedule. Additionally, I appreciate the voting system – it's been a great asset to see how other group members think and easily solicit feedback from everyone.
What do you dislike about the product?
As soon as it became apparent what was happening, it wasn't such a big deal, but it seemed like an odd design decision. What I don't like about Lucidspark is that the tutorials and other help materials count as objects when placed on the page. So if you want to remember a photo and a caption, you must delete one of the helpful elements first. However, free version users may not have this problem since there are more object slots available in the full version of Lucidsparke.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
If you're looking for a tool to help facilitate strategy sessions with clients, Lucidspark is an excellent option. It allows you to discuss goals and develop action plans flexibly, which is especially important when conducting business via video chat.
Great SaaS diagraming tool that fits well with security posture.
What do you like best about the product?
Easy importing of vendor stencils and easy accessibility to shapes.
What do you dislike about the product?
The connection of lines can sometimes be difficult to master at first.

We use contractors to fill many of our roles and this helps us avoid the installation extra software packages on "untrusted" devices.
Creating diagrams, flowcharts and technical graphs for cloud architecture.
What do you like best about the product?
With Lucidchart, you can create professional-looking diagrams directly in your browser. I can almost always find all I need in this tool's extensive library of configurations and diagram elements. The ability of Lucidchart to automate small interactions and reduce the number of required clicks makes it useful for even the most fundamental diagrams. It has enabled me to create highly complex flowcharts that are always professional-looking.
What do you dislike about the product?
It can be annoying that I require a login from anyone who wishes to view the live diagram I provide and collaborate via chat on developing it, as some of our cloud consultants didn't have a Lucidchart account.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
My colleagues and I have used Lucidchart to design flowcharts/cloud architecture graphs and collaborate on process/project planning to organize our workflow more efficiently and establish project priorities. Capability to draw diagrams quickly and accurately with minimal technical training. Prompts and object customization options facilitate displaying the appropriate data to a large audience. Due to Lucidchart, all of our projects were completed on time.
A practical and straightforward resource.
What do you like best about the product?
I like LucidSpark because it allows you to easily create arrows between containers without worrying about crossing. You also have complete control over the sheet's visibility, accessibility, and functionality. In addition, you can modify various settings to tailor the sheet precisely to your needs. I appreciate that you can quickly create new processes by copying existing ones from the history function.
What do you dislike about the product?
I don't like that Lucidchart is hard to switch between canvases, the bottom display minimap is tough to understand, and neither the arrow keys nor click-and-drag feature is useful. Plus, when working on a giant canvas or presenting my screen to a group, using the minimap becomes a real pain.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The problem with Lucidspark is that it's hard to know what features are available and how to use them. The interface is not as intuitive as it could be, and the website tutorials don't help much. Another issue is that some features seem more aimed at individual users than team collaboration.
Designing flowcharts would be difficult without Lucidchart.
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart was designed to fulfill users' needs, making it easy to use and learn. I can create workplace flowcharts and other process diagrams with ease. My favorite feature is the ability to modify the connection history while maintaining its integrity as a process is rearranged. Since PowerPoint is such a powerful program, I assumed that creating a flowchart with it would be simple. However, when I attempted to restructure the procedure, complications arose, but Lucidchart proved the optimal solution.
What do you dislike about the product?
One aspect of Lucidchart that I dislike is the system of charging for collaboration licenses, which could be inconsistent. Regarding the software itself, I have found nothing that I dislike.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
To better manage my team, I am improving our internal processes. Using flowcharts, we were able to quickly create and define a process for managing client communications, developing relationships, and closing deals with the assistance of Lucidchart. The entire sales and brand recognition process becomes more transparent, which is an enormous advantage. Multiple points of contact with a client can lead to confusion, but if you have a system in place, you can effectively manage the various channels of communication with the client.
Lucidchart: An excellent tool at an affordable price
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is an incredibly versatile tool that can be used for various purposes. I particularly appreciate how user-friendly it is - even if you're unfamiliar with mind mapping or flowcharting, the software makes it easy to create professional-looking diagrams. Additionally, I love Lucidchart's collaboration - working on projects with team members in real-time is a huge time saver!
What do you dislike about the product?
I dislike Lucidchart because the software only provides a sketch on graph paper. Connecting objects using associations can be difficult if the objects are not precisely where the software believes they should be. When saving a diagram as a PDF or image, there may also be subtle modifications.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is a diagramming tool that helps you visualize your computer code. It offers professional templates that are simple to use and make it easy to create flowcharts and other diagrams, such as data flow. This saves you time and makes it easy to understand your code.
Creating charts for workflows/goals/processes.
What do you like best about the product?
I appreciate using Lucidchart due to its intuitive interface. Each component is placed precisely where it should be for optimal efficiency. Since the learning curve is minimal, non-technical coworkers should be able to utilize it effectively. I like that rather than receiving comments via email from coworkers and business partners; we can provide collaborative feedback directly on the diagrams themselves. In addition, files can be easily organized, and standard templates can be utilized for various designs with little effort.
What do you dislike about the product?
I cannot save a set of shapes that I can reuse across multiple documents and charts.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We utilize LucidCharts' entity diagram, state diagram, and organizational chart tools to visualize departmental objectives, processes, and workflows. Without these components, our management procedures would be deficient. Because of this, we can collaborate with our consultants on design projects using LucidCharts. All have greatly appreciated the ability to view and provide feedback on our designs in real time.
