LucidSpark is an excellent tool for helping you conceptualize your ideas.
What do you like best about the product?
What I like best about Lucidspark is the ability to use pre-existing templates and construct visual workflows with annotations for sharing and working with coworkers. The office is also very adaptable to reconfiguration, so there is no need to hinder traffic both ways. Adjusting the size of the boxes and layout is an excellent solution if you're searching for a visual representation of your workflow. Lastly, the instructional videos provide easy-to-implement recommendations that make migrating to a new platform much more accessible.
What do you dislike about the product?
What I dislike about Lucidchart is that if I want to present my work to people who need access to the app, I'll need to adjust its format, so it displays correctly on their platform. This means changing the text and box sizes, and positioning to export a legible image.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
What problem does Lucidspark enable remote collaboration between individuals to solve? This allows me and others to cooperate on writing projects without traveling nationwide.
Intuitive collaboration tool!
What do you like best about the product?
You may quickly and easily discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and create your new CRM system, making the experience even more enjoyable. Lucidspark is instrumental in the project's brainstorming phase when everyone can contribute ideas together. Once the brainstorming step is over, combining all of the sticky notes into one cohesive approach is simple.
What do you dislike about the product?
The disadvantage of Lucidspark is that it requires training and practice to understand industry standards, how to set up the system, and how to customize your company and its operations. Tutorial videos are helpful, but the practice is required.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
All team members can write notes about the project in real-time on an interactive whiteboard, allowing us to bring our ideas and opinions. As a result, we were more efficient when working together. It also offers role-based access, which helps us to regulate who sees what information and who does not. It also allows us to monitor and track projects and know-how activities progress.
Very Good for collaborating online
What do you like best about the product?
I really love how we can use a virtual whiteboard online with my team for work and fun activities. It was so hard sharing screens one by one in a meeting but lurid spark has revolutionize it.
What do you dislike about the product?
While zooming in on the screen, the file size limit can be extended for the free version for the user to test it to understand its potential. Its a bit less user friendly
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucid spark has provided me and my team with a virtual whiteboard, we can play fun games like scribbling or put in some important ideas while being in a meeting. It was so hard to share screens one by one showing out points.
One of the better whiteboarding apps
What do you like best about the product?
Honestly? The ease of use. It gets super hard and cumbersome to brainstorm ideas on tools like figman for me. I feel LS's UX is far better when it comes to virtual brainstorming sessions w a large team. This + integrations w popular marketing tools.
What do you dislike about the product?
It's v similar to Lucidcharts. Most of my colleagues get confused between the two of them. A little better product positioning would help LS. I'd also like better commenting system.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Problem: Working w a virtual marketing and design team. Benefit: we don't have to fumble across tools or pay a hefty price to be able to workshop ideas together.
Lucidchart vs draw.io for Entity Relationship Diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
Compared to draw.io for visual diagramming for ERDs, Lucidchart has an easier way to change the endpoints. Instead of dragging and dropping the whole specific relation in Draw.io, in Lucidchart, you can click on the endpoint selector and easily change each connection as you develop the diagram and your design. In general, I think it's faster to build diagrams in Lucidchart, and the user interface is cleaner.
What do you dislike about the product?
Compared to Lucidchart for visual diagramming for ERDs, Draw.io has more detailed entities and connections. For example, the foreign keys are built in; there are multiple types of associations and entities for the version of ERD you're making. Adding foreign key records, primary keys, and fields via drag and drop is more user-friendly than Lucidchart's ability to change entity attributes.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is helping me quickly develop entity relationship diagrams and solutions for school assignments and businesses. Faster diagramming through Lucidchart leads to more rapid implementation of written SQL.
Lucidchart: The best software for creating charts and diagrams
What do you like best about the product?
The creators of Lucidchart have done a great job in ensuring that users have all the tools they need to create beautiful diagrams while also ensuring that those diagrams are consistent across different browsers. My favorite thing about Lucidchart is how well it works in other browsers. No matter where I am, I can always access and use the application without any problems. Additionally, even when creating large flowcharts, I've never experienced any performance issues. Another plus is that many small details within the app (such as automated micro-interactions) make diagram creation much simpler and quicker.
What do you dislike about the product?
Occasionally, the complexity and levels of a graph make it challenging to choose and manipulate the required object, but this is only a minor annoyance. I dislike Lucidchart because there used to be no offline choices, and I would lose work hours during a blackout. However, now that they have fixed that issue, there is nothing else that I truly dislike about the program.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The form data fields of Lucidchart have proven helpful for quantitative analysis of processes and data in diagramming process flows, despite the potential for improvement. In Lucidchart, it is possible to integrate visuals with quantitative data;
A Powerful Tool for Business Strategy
What do you like best about the product?
It is very simplistic and intuitive. If I'm not quite sure how to do something it's very easy to poke around and figure it out. If I still need help the small tutorial always has good answers. The UI is also fantastic!
What do you dislike about the product?
At times it can lack some of the functionality that Lucidchart has. However, they are not the same tool. Other than the functionality I wish that the subscription was tied to the Lucidchart subscription. That way it would be easier and cheaper for remote teams to share ideas.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark helps me visualize my problem-solving to other team members. Even if I'm not quite sure how to handle a new problem I can use Lucidspark to brainstorm easily.
Roadmap & Planning - Better Meetings
What do you like best about the product?
The user interface allows us to make updates in meetings and get consensus quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
The integration to other tools is not as tight as we would like.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
We regularly refine our product roadmap and use Lucidchart to get consensus on new product functionality and processes. Lucidchart makes this so easy to do on the fly in meetings that we have changed the prioritization process.
Software with a simple interface but powerful diagramming capabilities compared to alternatives
What do you like best about the product?
I like the auto line routing, with easy repositioning and snapping between blocks in the flow chart, allowing for quick and easy adjustments. Although this feature isn't unique to Lucid, based on a comparison with the other diagramming software I have used, lucid implements this better and is more intuitive / user friendly
What do you dislike about the product?
There could be more of an explanation of what each block in the flow chart means rather than just a title like "predefined process". Having this sort of explanation would lead to a more consistent use of the application amongst staff, allowing for a more standardised and professional production of charts across the business
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart allows us to produce consistent flow diagrams to clearly document and identify processes that our general users need to follow. This has provided an increase to business performance as people are not spending time looking around for information or trying to decipher a complicated process diagram.
Review of Lucidspark for ”Collaborative Whiteboard” and “Visual Collaboration Platforms” categories
What do you like best about the product?
As SRE the lucid chart has made my life easy in designing robust platform solutions. Our solution architect always focuses on designing first and implementing later. With the collaborative features of lucidpark, it's pretty easy to keep all stakeholders on the same page.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing to point on from the features I use, but I still have given 8 for continuous improvement and bringing many more new features to customers. It would be great to link the lucid chart directly with JIRA stories/tasks. In short, integration with other 3rd party tools.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The wide variety of charts on lucid chart, whether it's a class diagram, decision tree or business functionality diagram, makes lucid chart a one-stop portal for me to rely on.
We also do agile planning and refinement by creating graphs over lucid chart. It helps us compare the complexity of stories against their value to the business, and based on that, we decide on story points for those stories.
