Presenting data from reports and visualizing the processes.

What do you like best about the product?
My colleagues and I were asked to create a flow chart to present information from internal reports clearly and understandably. Despite my best efforts on the internet, I needed help finding a suitable solution using Excel or Word. However, after trying the free demo of Lucidchart, I was impressed with its ability to use templates, drag elements and design flowcharts. Using it, we created a diagram that presented the information with exceptional clarity, making it easy for anyone to interpret.
What do you dislike about the product?
I found a few things that could be improved with Lucidchart besides the learning curve associated with its continued use. As with any product, proficiency comes with experience. The only other issue I encountered was difficulty resizing the chart for printing or saving it as a PDF.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart resolved our problems by visualizing the evolution of a process and presenting projects and strategy charts in a more understandable way for C-executives. We created a clear and coherent data representation by transforming text bullet points into a flowchart.

What do you like best about the product?
There are numerous pros like voting, joinID(helps joingin without creating login), restricting voting per user along with per stickie, integrated with office tools like MS tools etc.
What do you dislike about the product?
For the free version the number of users that can use it is restricted which kind of limits its utilisation. For 1st time, it should let atleast 30 people to play with tool so that people can check its usefulness.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
An online tool which can be used collaboratively with people on-premise as well as online. It helps to utilize it with no restriction on thought process and map the ideas to its best.

Great for mapping out

  • March 05, 2023
  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is intuitive and user-friendly. It is helpful when mapping out business processes, designing solutions, and communicating with collaborators. The new(ish) Salesforce Shape Library helps me build, customize, and reuse diagrams quickly.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the education/documentation pieces lacking - I wish more resources were available for users to learn how to use Lucidchart. This is not a huge deal, but having spellcheck capabilities will be great!
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
There is no good way to document Salesforce Flows without charts since the logic can be complex. Lucidchart solved that for me. I used Lucidchart to map out every process and workflow in the WF/Process to Flow migration project.

The best diagramming tool

What do you like best about the product?
I love Lucidspark for its ease of use and versatility. Setting up a board is very intuitive, while sharing links with new team members allows them to get up to speed quickly. The user-friendly forms and options allow us to get straight to work, which I really appreciate as we can quickly create product personas and JTBD frameworks, as well as co-facilitate various functions such as strategic board meetings, brand strategy workshops or vision timeframes. An outstanding feature that always impresses me about this platform is the possibility to add as many canvas sizes as you like, which allows users like me to easily merge multiple visualisations by simply zooming in or out as needed.
What do you dislike about the product?
I appreciate Lucidspark's efforts to simplify more complex tasks, but I think they could benefit from incorporating pop-up functionality on each sticky note to provide more information when needed. For work that requires more contextualisation and deals with policy, management, or process, an easy way to access this additional data is needed to make the work easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark provides me with a helpful way to organise my thoughts and ideas. With its capabilities, I'm able to use visuals such as flowcharts, maps or diagrams when presenting concepts and procedures both internally and externally, which has resulted in improved understanding for everyone involved.

Outstanding UI, collaboration and scalability.

  • Review provided by G2

What do you like best about the product?
I love Lucidspark for its accuracy, remarkable features and extensibility in both collaboration and user interface design. Their integration with Slack is personally incredibly convenient - by automatically saving connections from the platform, I'm better able to keep my work safe without worrying about losing it. In addition, their sticky notes feature provides a way to enhance our product within program increments, while further minimising document travel through comments provided directly in the project space, rather than using lengthy email conversation threads that slow down overall productivity by taking more time than necessary to organise tasks between team members.
What do you dislike about the product?
I find the existing templates in Lucidspark lacking as they do not offer enough customisation or leave out important elements. There is also an adjustment period to using this software, which can take some time and effort to get your head around. However, for those willing to put up with the initial challenges, it offers plenty of forgiveness, which ultimately makes life easier.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidspark solves the problem of facilitating effective remote brainstorming. Through its simple technology, it provides a number of benefits to me personally - I'm able to run efficient and productive sessions while generating new ideas without having to be face-to-face with my colleagues.
