Restructuring a Department
What do you like best about the product?
I most appreciate how easy it is to collaborate, as collaboration can be a pain point in a digital-first workplace. I also love that there are so many template options to meet whatever business need one has.
What do you dislike about the product?
Lucidchart can feel a bit bloated and looks very busy with how it is organized.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
The most significant benefit of Lucidchart is that the diagramming makes ideas flow easily resulting in more productive use of time.
New user's perspective with lots to learn.
What do you like best about the product?
I love the collaboration tools and the integrations with other platforms. Sharing documents within specific domains or teams makes organizing for large or small-scale projects easy.
What do you dislike about the product?
Some of the custom shapes/icons are difficult to use when connecting to other objects. It becomes difficult to predict the way things are going to behave sometimes. Maybe that's just the nature of the platform, but drafting can be hampered by these odd quirks.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Cross-team collaboration. Pre-event diagramming. Visual transparency for our freelance and internal teams. I am definitely more productive with Lucidchart. Our business productivity has improved as our teams across the globe have access to and can contribute to our various projects.
Very useful for creating aesthetically pleasing & easily understandable charts.
What do you like best about the product?
How easy it is to use and how customizable the charts are. Lucidcharts has definitely been a beneficial application in my line of work and is a lot simpler than most programs I've utilized in the past.
What do you dislike about the product?
I wish the pre-built chart templates would allow more movement of the cells themselves. When using the pre-built templates, it doesn't allow for you to really rearrange or alter the sides the cells are populated on.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
It definitely makes my job easier and faster to complete. Being able to pull up templates and then just plug in all the needed details streamlines a lot of projects

What is most helpful is the design and eye-pleasing graphics.
What do you dislike about the product?
Nothing! Truly do not have anything negative to share.

It helps dictate how our organization works and what levels everyone is at.
Very User Friendly
What do you like best about the product?
I like that the pages expand with me as I create. It's easy to pick up and intuitive. It's very easy to learn even if you've never used it before.
What do you dislike about the product?
It was harder to find out how to link a URL to a box than I thought it would be. It's buried within another title after some searching.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Getting messy ideas on paper and being able to crystallize them in real time during brainstorming sessions. I like being able to create processes in non-linear ways.
Excellent collaboration for software design and documentation
What do you like best about the product?
The real-time collaborative features in Lucidchart and Lucidspark make it easy to run distributed software design sessions. We can provide templates to teams for particular design processes (like event storming or service interactions) and organize them in shared folders.
What do you dislike about the product?
It is hard to embed Lucidchart documents within docs-as-code tools like Mkdocs or Backstage techdocs. It would be helpful if we could export diagrams in a common format like Mermaid.js for documentation-as-code.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
I use Lucidchart for collaborative design sessions and rapidly prototyping architecture designs.
User-friendly and Intuitive
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart is highly intuitive and easy to use. I was able to create complex flowcharts without ever having to Google or YouTube anything.
What do you dislike about the product?
There's nothing I dislike about Lucidchart.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchaty has helped me map out the current state of several different business processes, which allows me to identify gaps and inconsistencies that need to be addressed.
Lucidcharts creates a platform for collaboration
What do you like best about the product?
Lucidchart's real-time collaboration is a beautiful feature for remote employees. On a call, seeing another user's mouse and edits to the document creates a seamless way of interacting in the same file and collaborating.
What do you dislike about the product?
The availability of different icons and shapes creates a challenge when constructing a tailored solution for a client. Matching their echo system can be done, but it takes a few extra steps than should be necessary. Also, the ability to export to an SVG is convenient but does not translate well into the software I use.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is used to create visualizations of processes that are much better represented in a visual manner rather than a series of steps written down. This tool allows us to see overall how a process is performing and then dig into the areas where we may uncover issues from the data.
Easy to use, very customizable, good user interface
What do you like best about the product?
It is easy to customize a Lucidchart flow to exactly what you are looking for. I think the shapes and features are clear, and the end product is visually appealing. One important characteristic of Lucidchart is it's collaboration ability, as you can easy work with collaborators on the same flow at the same time without issue. Furthermore, I think it's a great tool for any business to utilize to create simple to complex materials.
What do you dislike about the product?
There is one small area of improvement that Lucidchart could easily fix. Sometimes when you click on an entity in a box to select it, it undo's whatever edits you just made. I think this is a small bug, but sometimes it is frustrating to have to enter data twice.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Lucidchart is helping me lay out complex business process flows and to create large and complex org charts. I appreciate how easy it is to edit my flows/org charts and share with other people to edit as well.

What do you like best about the product?
Ease of use. A Simple and quick way to create diagrams for guides or even brainstorming session. The plugins are helpful. For example, the JIRA one links diagrams directly into the documentation.
What do you dislike about the product?
The diagram import does not remember the position of the different elements, and sometimes weird stuff happens with the linkage but it is 80-90% there but needs tweaking.
What problems is the product solving and how is that benefiting you?
Quick and easy way to store diagrams and a simple way to modify them when states change during the development cycle. It reduces resource spent on documentation and allows me to focus more on my main tasks.
